The Laya Center is an incredible all-in-one recovery resource - they truly have it all. The masseuses are incredible and all of the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. The space itself is restorative, calm and honestly one of a kind. Nowhere in KC like it. 10/10

It was my first time at the place. I get a massage weekly. I didn't feel welcomed by the reception. I felt left out. They didn't even offer me water. My massage was wonderful. The therapist was very good, but they took a while to call me and then closed. I won't be back, it's a shame because it's very close to my house.

Very friendly and welcoming staff dedicated and knowledgeable on their craft. Very clean and relaxing environment. Booked a spa day treatment and left feeling relaxed and recharged. After a spa day I recommend going to their bar, delicious selections of hot chocolate, teas, and smoothies.

I love the Laya Center! All the employees are so wonderful and welcoming. I have tried several services there including a deep tissue massage with Ajani and a phytacin flush with Melanie. I highly recommend them both. I also love the supplements and products. I recommend them to many of my nutrition clients.

5 stars doesn’t quite translate the premium experience I received from the Elevated Beings at the Laya Center during my visit, where I received a facial following a cryotherapy sesh. A relaxed and nourishing sanctuary in the heart of the city, a true gem in KC.

This place is amazing. This is where I go to get massages, recently I've tried other services & all have been wonderful. The sweet treats, vegan cheeses, & drinks are very tasty & delicious! The atmosphere is laid back, welcoming, & relaxing. Everytime I'm in the vicinity I stop in to get myself a treat (candle, book, drink, etc.)The staff are wonderful as well!

5/5 everything here was great. Tiffany gave me one of the best massages I’ve received. I had a cookie and tea that both were extremely delicious. They also have a ton of great retail, all the self care you could dream of. I could spend my whole check in this place. Will definitely be back.

I don’t have words to express how AMAZING The Laya Center is!!!! From the moment I walked in- it was a wonderfully different vibe. Tiffany gave me the best massage I have ever had. She addressed areas that I forgot to even mention to her. Next I had a facial with Melissa- again AMAZING!! Each therapist was knowledgeable and offered excellent suggestions for home care but wasn’t pushy trying to sell anything. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I came here for my birthday and it was amazing! The location was easy to get to with a lot of parking available! The place is beautifully decorated. We purchased the rejuvenate package which included the cryotherapy chamber, infrared sauna, 60 min massage and a steam treatment afterwards! We left feeling so relaxed. Both our massage therapist had wonderful technique and pressure. I was super excited to hear they do up to 3 hour massages!! Everyone was so kind. Thank you for such a lovely experience. We look forward to coming back! :)

The Laya Center is peaceful, relaxing, and calming. The space is designed with organic materials, earthy textures, and tons of plants, integrating nature and creating harmony and balance from the moment you walk in the doors. The staff are all very friendly and soft-spoken and make you feel calm and welcome. The music feels more ayurvedic and healing and less like a stereotypical spa/zen playlist. I had a 90-minute deep tissue massage that I went into hoping would ease some hip pains I was having, but overall I wasn't happy with my service and didn't know how to voice that with my massage therapist. After hearing I was unhappy with my massage, Joe, who own and manages the center, called me immediately and was kind, patient, and understanding without making me feel bad for speaking up about my negative experience. He offered to book me a new massage and cranial sacral treatment with another therapist and included a cryotherapy session for my ongoing hip issues. When I arrived for my second visit, Joe personally worked with me during the cryotherapy and explained everything and made me feel very comfortable. He was very personable, encouraging, and helped me get pumped up for the cold with Beyonce. Honestly, I'd hire him to be my life-coach because he was so positive! The cryotherapy was much easier than I thought it would be and I felt amazing afterwards. He also gave me a bit of background on himself and his wife and how they opened the space and it really helped me understand more about the center. My new massage was with Angela and she was absolutely wonderful. She sat down with me before she got started and we talked through a few things and she seemed to just intuitively know where all of my muscle aches and pains were, as she was spot on. She spoke softly to me throughout the massage and it felt like a little therapy session for my mind and body. She made most of my aches go away and eased so much tension in my mind and body. I was so very grateful that Joe arranged for my second visit and was so pleased with my results. I can't wait to come back again and try more treatments and definitely get more cryotherapy. I even bought a helpful book from the shop in the lobby. Would definitely recommend, and if you don't like it the first time, try it again, because each therapist really has their own techniques, and what might work for some may not work for others. Find what fits!

The Laya team is super knowledgeable and friendly. The Laya Center space is open, inviting, and clean. You feel relaxed and cared for as soon as you walk in. I recently went to get an herbal phytofacial from Ashley - she listened to my needs and created a wonderfully calming, custom experience for me. I will definitely go back and send my friends! UPDATE 4/29/23 _________________ I came back and had a 60 minute massage with Simona today. I cannot express the amount of gratitude I have - she did a FABULOUS job and it was truly the best massage I have ever had. Thank you so much!

The hosts are incredibly nice. They have the best customer service I have ever received at a cafe. The muspresso is amazing, a must try. Great atmosphere as well, and plenty of great wellness resources as well.

I have had an amazing experience the last few times I have visited the Laya Center. I go in for infrared sauna sessions to help with a chronic illness from which I suffer. I am always greeted by staff upon my arrival and after my very first visit, I've been greeted by my first name. Typically, Melanie guides me through my sessions. She is always kind and helpful. She checks in on me after a few minutes to make sure that I am comfortable and then lets me settle in to my session in the sauna pod. The facility is clean and welcoming with gentle lighting and the subtle smell of essential oils. There is a comfortable seating area in which to wait, complete with tea samples and/or optional for-purchase full-size drinks. You are offered a robe and non-slip shoes for each visit. There are lockers to place your personal items during your session. There is also a parking lot on the south side of the building that has plenty of parking - it has never been an issue. I purchased their holiday package of 5 sauna sessions for 40% off. Honestly, I probably couldn't afford the sessions at full price, but I felt the package offered around the holidays was reasonable.

The Laya Center is awesome. It starts from the minute you walk in the door. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I was lucky to find the Laya Center after seeing specialists regarding aches and pains I was having in my elbow and arm. The specialists told me that their was nothing I could do but just rest and give it time to heal. A friend told me about the Laya Center and the whole body cryotherapy. I started trying the cryotherapy and after about 4 sessions, I began to notice significant improvement in the pain in my arm and elbow. I also started notice just an overall better feeling in my whole body after cryotherapy sessions. I am a big believe in cryotherapy and continue to use it often. I would highly recommend the Laya Center.
