This place is incredible. My wife got me a gift certificate for a 4-hour spa treatment and it was the best experience I could have asked for. The services were great and the conversation was as well. The mother-daughter dynamic has such a quaint beauty to it. You guys really are incredible and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

If I called myself a “spa fanatic” , it would not be a lie. First. I called and set up my deep tissue massage appointment. Easy. Second. I waited no-so-patiently for the days to pass. Feeling every neck / shoulder muscle twitch plus throbbing neck pain. Amazing how the discomfort intensifies knowing there is an appointment on the calendar. Second step, NOT so easy. Third. So exciting. At the visit, I was welcomed into a room that just oozed relaxation. Dimmed lighting. Gentle music. Something that smelled amazing, lemongrass or lavender. Sometimes a massage is just a massage, the specialist’s “routine deep tissue treatment”. Well. Not so for Margaret. A few minutes into the experience, she was focused on my problem areas. I was wowed. TMJ and occipitalis. Margaret had read my information and listened during our pre-treatment discussion. By the end, I was passed out. Completely asleep. A few minutes later when I woke up, I had no idea where I was. The massage and Margaret’s soft voice were that amazing. The Little Day Spa on Gillespie Avenue offers a terrifically therapeutic massage in a very clean environment. Margaret was lovely and professionally professional. Did I I mention parking was simple? Plus, my car stayed cool under a gorgeous historical tree. A visit to the Little Day Spa is a quintessential Sarasota experience supporting a family owned and operated business. I can’t wait to return again soon.

Have you ever felt like you were playing in the clouds or floating? Well, you need to get to Little Day Spa. The ladies are so nice, it's legendary. This is sarasota's best kept secret. This is my wife's favorite place and she will not go anywhere else! I started getting my massages there as well.

Over priced and not that friendly faces and especially the facial service worst that you can imagine, no face, head and shoulders relaxation massages. Body massage can be just okay.. not gonna go back.

Terrible customer service! I normally go to another local spa with wonderful experiences, but since I had a gift certificate I decided to give this place a shot. I had high hopes, as this is a smaller and more intimate setting. I arrived 18 minutes early to do paperwork, as is customary as a new massage client. When I opened the door I was “greeted” with a “shhhhh somebody else is getting a massage. You’re very early.” Not a very warm welcome for somebody there to relax and support local small businesses. Mind you, I was not loud, I simply greeted her with a "hi." I explained I came a few minutes early to do paperwork so as not to put them behind schedule, what I thought was polite and a professional courtesy. She then rudely explained I should have come at my appointment time and would have started 15 minutes after that. Needless to say, I decided to leave and support a spa that appreciates their clients. I will no go back, nor recommend them to anyone looking for a kind and warm environment.

What a fabulous find! Intimate setting, enjoyable owners, soothing products. I wanted to do something special for my best friend’s birthday but being a visitor to the area, I happened upon this wonderful spa. They have an incredible variety of services but we settled on the #1Perfect Day. And it was. The facial and massage was divine, but I think it was a the relaxing environment of the quaint cottage and subtle music that truly made this the best spa experience I’ve ever had. I only wish I still lived in the area, so I could enjoy this gem more often. :)

The experience was very nice. But was really disappointed when I found out the same spa package I had last year that included lunch . No longer includes lunch my friend and I skipped breakfast with the expectation of having lunch after our massage so unfortunately we're very hungry during our 5 hour experience.

I got a surprise gift birthday gift from my husband...the number 3 package $375. I walked in the door a woman greeted me (not a very warm welcome) she has me fill out paperwork and then I go with her to start my spa package. I did not find her friendly, I thought she was rude and very short with me. Next I go to have a facial and full body massage with Connie...she barely said 2 words to me but a least she introduced herself. Massage and facial was mediocre. After I was done I go to have a Mani and pedi with the same lady who started my spa (Still not friendly) 😐 She brings lunch (that was part of the package) with tea in a paper cup and sandwich on a plastic plate. For that price you think you would have a glass mug and dish. This place didn't make me feel welcome. Made me feel uncomfortable. I would never be back or recommend this place to anyone! Very disappointed!

In Sarasota we have an abundance of day spas. The one that I feel consistently provides a 5 star experience is The Little Day Spa. The staff is welcoming,pleasant and professional while the atmosphere is always a relaxing oasis. Also, the fees for the various services and packages are well priced. The massage therapists, estheticians and nail technicians are trained in multi techniques and educate their clients in how to best care for their skin and bodies. And they continue to research new products and opportunities to expand their services. Do not hesitate to visit The Little Day Spa to experience the best Sarasota has to offer.

My husband treated me to a special spa day at the Little Day Spa for our anniversary. I have no idea of the cost, so I cannot say anything about the value. My review is based solely on my experience, which was a pleasant one. The spa has a quiet, downtown location. It isn’t a large place, but everything was clean and neat. The staff was cordial, even though not extremely conversational (for me, this is how I would expect a day of relaxation to be). Connie did a nice job on my massage and facial, and I felt very good afterward. She also did my mani-pedi, and I have been amazed by how long the polish has lasted on my natural nails. Usually within a day or so of a manicure (which is a rare occasion for me), my nail polish is chipping or peeling away (unless I get gel polish, which totally ruins my nails). But Connie did such a great job, that my polish lasted well over a week. Lunch was also included, and it was provided during the pedicure. The food comes from the Main Bar, and mine was very tasty (but not what I would call fancy). Overall, I had an enjoyable visit here, and would certainly recommend it as a special treat for yourself or a friend.

I received the #1 package and was completely satisfied! The aroma therapy was nice , a little nervous to sitting in a box, but it was a nice experience. The back massage and facial was very nice , she got all the little knots and kinks I didn't want to get off the table! My manicure came out better than I expected and I just had an overall wonderful experience. Great people working there, relaxing environment. Definately recommend!!

Sometimes franchised spas can be so “assembly” line. Not so with the Little Day Spa! In fact, they have awakened my inner-Diva! This is where I go when I need a special treat. It's very quiet, serene and relaxing. I've used a number of their services and was very happy with all of them. However, my hands down favorite is the micro-derm abrasion treatment. I purchased the package of 6. Maureen is quite the pro. How nice when family, friends, and even, strangers comment on your skin! It's a must-have treatment living in the sunshine state. The team is very professional yet friendly and welcoming. It all started with a gift certificate that my husband purchased online. What a terrific gift! He no longer has a difficult time shopping for me. I'll be back...again and again for those special Diva Days.

Was set in a nice location, although the area was a bit cramped. The service was good and the therapists nice, but I wasn't able to appreciate the "ambiance" of a Spa with the ambulance sirens going off outside. I was moved from one room to another after massage for the facial, and was set out of groove from the lighting change. If they had a little more room to operate, this place would be a nice get away from real life. They do work with what they have and you can't bash them for trying. Sweet people running it.
