I landed here from a spa gift card I received as a Christmas gift. There’s a website you go to to choose a salon and the options for the 757 area were super limited. I chose this Salon based on the vast services offered and the pictures online. From the moment I called to make an appointment I was treated well and impressed with the level of customer service. Emma (Emily) did my nails and it was a pleasure! The conversation was great, she cared about the health of my nails and knew the perfect way to ask all the questions about the services I wanted and needed. She took her time and helped me choose what I wanted. She is talented in nail care, nail shaping, and nail designs. She did an amazing job and I have found a new nail tech! I will be not only returning for nail services but for massage and hair are services as well. I’m excited to have found this salon and they have gained a new client! I have already told three friends and I just left at 6:30 lol I cannot believe it’s been there for 25 years! It’s also very aesthetically pleasing and the prices are wallet pleasing! lol “The Look” I will see you soon 😁 oh did I say I LOVE my nails! Emma girl I’ll see you in 2 weeks—Looks like I chose correctly 😆

Didn't have a great experience, was supposed to get acrylics, but person was out due to circumstances they could not control, that was not the problem, so I got a gel manicure instead. I got them done last Saturday and they already start chipping and peeling a couple days ago. Barely made it a week before they started to peel.

My husband was super nice and gave me an entire spa day for christmas. I had services at a few different places that day and my first stop was a mani/pedi at this salon. The girl who did my nails was not paying attention to what she was doing and seemed to not care much. As far as my pedicure with her, she did ok. She didnt do a very good job at cleaning up nail polish that got on my skin but i decided i could fix that at home, however, my manicure with her was terrible. She polished my nails and again, didnt do a good job cleaning up nail polish that got on my skin. She then wasnt paying attention and put base coat ontop of the polish instead of top coat (which i didnt notice until later). Once she put the base coat on she put me under the nail dryer and then came back a few mins later and said i was good to go. I put my shoes back on since my toes were dry and went up to the counter to pay and noticed my nail polish on my hands was scrunching up and coming off. So she went and fixed the nails that were bad and while she was doing this i noticed she used base coat ontop of the polish as opposed to top coat. I alerted her to this and so she redid those nails. I asked her if she used the base coat for all of my nails the first time she did it because she used the same bottle but she said no and continued to do the few nails that got messed up. I sat under the dryer for 30 mins this time to make sure they were dry and while i was doing that the receptionist came over to me and asked if she could go in my purse and get my card to pay for my services instead of waiting for me to get done and pay then. Her excuse was she didnt want me to mess my nails up but to me it was unprofessional, invasive and weird but i let her do it because i was caught off guard and annoyed at my nails. Once she gave my card back i left and drove to get lunch down the street. I noticed the other nails that wernt messed up the first time were now messed up. My nails looked bad. I was mad and didnt have time to redo them for the 3rd time so i went back to tell them to take it off. The manager talked to me and said they had some issues with expired nail polish from their distributor (which judging by the many other reviews on here about bad nail service over the years that must be crap) but that wasnt it....it was the employee. The manager offered me a credit to come back and have them done again,but i was fed up and didnt want to so i asked for a refund and they gave me one. Dont go here to get your nails done. Im never coming back. In response to the owners reply, i understand that things happen and thats why i was going to let it slide when i paid and left, but going to get lunch and having my nail polish slide off just made me mad because i told her she was using base coat as a top coat and she said no only on the ones she fixed previously when i told her about it. And, yes i should have brought it up when the manager spoke to me so thats on me, however, i was not comfortable talking about it infront of the entire salon, not to mention the girl who did my nails parents were there as well. And she told me she has been doing nails and working with you for 11 years....so i dont know who else you would have gotten to do my nails who has more experience, but someone of 11 years should be doing a better job.

Had a bridal party scheduled with a specific stylist for months to be informed the stylist was no longer there two weeks before the wedding. Salon used latex bands in my daughter's hair knowing my girls had latex allergies. Never again will we come here.

I’ve gotten my haircut here twice and Emily and Alyssa have not done me wrong! All of the staff here are very friendly and talented and I left feeling very happy both times. Prices weren’t bad and both haircuts were very quick! 10/10

My husband bought me a gift card for spa services at The Look Salon and Spa. The staff was so friendly, and my massage and facial by Virginia were out of this world. Unfortunately I was left unimpressed by my shellac manicure and pedicure. The polish job is not great at all. I’m not confrontational so I didn’t tell the girl I disliked it, but when I was up charged an extra $27 for an upgrade the nail tech hadn’t mentioned when asking me which color I wanted, I was left with a bad taste. She did a great job taking care of me and cleaning my nail beds, but the application itself is lackluster.

Best place to get a pedicure! Always great service! The welcome counter has the friendliest staff ever. Especially the one lady who has been there forever, she ALWAYS remembers your name! And she calls you beautiful, even if you’re feeling mediocre!

I had a gel manicure done on Friday, February 16th by a very nice nail tech, although I did not like the nails at all. I'm not confrontational and I didn't want to embarrass her, so I paid, tipped and left. As soon as I left, I took pictures of my nails and decided I had to say something. I called and spoke with a nice manager and they offered to re-do them. I agreed at first but then decided I wanted a refund instead because I'd prefer not to have additional services at this salon based on my experience. She spoke with the owner and they said that they don't give refunds, but they'll give me a credit. I am posting this so that other people know the quality of work at this salon. I paid $55 and I don't think it's worth it. I posted pictures of my nails right after they were done and today, Wednesday, February 21st, less than a week later. They're chipping and don't look like I went to a professional.

Everyone was friendly and nice but the color isn’t what I wanted, my hair was cut too short (I’m growing it out so it will be another two months to get back where I was and I asked for my hair not to be thinned out and it was extensively. I have to put my hair in a bun for work and can no longer do that which I also stated. The staff are very friendly but the service itself was $150 for essentially everything I didn’t ask for. When I put my hair in a ponytail it looks uneven and the texturizing also leaves hair sticking up in the back. Probably the worst haircut and color I’ve ever had. Very disappointed. Update: yes I provided a formula that I have used MANY times with a different outcome and also showed pictures to indicate what it SHOULD look like. Unfortunately there is only so much time one can allow for a fix. My appointment was at 4:45pm I showed up on time and didn’t leave there until 8:00pm. I have no plans to return. I’ve consulted with friends of mine who have frequented the salon and have indicated they too have had a bad experience and stylists simply don’t listen to the wishes of the customer. I’ve since paid out of pocket for extensions to be able to be within hair regulations for my job and I simply can’t see giving the opportunity to fix something that likely would lead to an even worse outcome.

I recently had the pleasure of receiving a massage from Virginia, and I must say it was truly wonderful. As a massage therapist myself, I'm quite picky when it comes to massages, but Virginia exceeded my expectations. Her expertise and skill as a massage therapist are truly remarkable. From the moment she began, I could tell she had a deep understanding of the human body and a genuine passion for her work. Virginia's technique was both soothing and therapeutic. She had an intuitive sense of where I needed the most attention and applied the perfect amount of pressure to release tension and promote relaxation. Her hands seemed to have a magical touch, and I felt a profound sense of relaxation and rejuvenation during and after the massage. What sets Virginia apart is her ability to create a serene and calming atmosphere. The ambiance she provided, from the soft music to the soothing aromatherapy, enhanced the overall experience. Her professionalism and attention to detail were evident throughout the session, and I felt like I was in the hands of a true expert. I left my massage feeling not only physically refreshed but also mentally and emotionally balanced. If you're as discerning about massages as I am, I highly recommend booking a session with Virginia. I would love to say good things about this place. Because that's all I've heard. Unfortunately, my experience was hmm interesting. I had a full day package = facial, massage, deep hair condition, lunch, pedicure and manicure. I've never been there before so I was very excited. From the very first moment I got there the employees kept asking me who I was going to or what where i was going to next Shouldn't they know? The massage and facial side is very relaxing and quiet. They even have a spot for you to sit and wait with waters. However, that is the same place you eat lunch, which is very awkward. You eatting while others sit there waiting. The bathrobes have hair dye on them. Which is from the hairstyle side that you use during your spa treatment. For my manicure and pedicure, the lady pretended to cut my cuticles. But I don't think she really knew what she was doing. She did try and she was very nice. You can see pictures of my nails now 1 day after I got them done. The spa signed me up to get my makeup done in my package which I did not sign up for. I asked them to remove it, which left me with a $40 credit. Instead, I got my eyebrows waxed and added a $5 treatment to my pedicure. ($15) Some how at the end, the lady at the front desk told me I ended up owing money. (?!) Not sure how that happened but I was over it all, I paid it and wanted to get out of there. For the amount of money spent ($450) I was expecting a bit more professionalism and smoothness. Everyone was very nice, but when your facial specialist comes in showing their belly, it makes one wonder how professional this place is.

I've been coming here for years and have nothing but good things to say about this salon! Even after moving to another state, I still only trust Natalia with my hair and always try to squeeze in an appointment when I'm back home lol. From relaxers to silk presses, she has always taken such good care of my hair, and whenever I want to do color, it's always perfection. Everyone there is super friendly and the atmosphere is so chill and relaxed!

Natalia was the bomb! Knowledgeable, warm, efficient.. she cut my natural hair wet which no other stylist in the years I've been natural has said they could do. The salon itself was very professional and everyone there was friendly including the wonderful person at the front desk.I was very pleased.. and this is coming from someone who had not been to a salon the whole pandemic.

Sent my wife and daughter there for a birthday surprise. Both got a scalp massage, hair cut, style, highlights, and manicure. They worked with them on swapping things out on the package they didn’t want and recommending how best to highlight my daughters hair and what style would look best on her. They both loved the mother daughter time and Dad got to play video games. Oh and all of this per person was cheaper than the last salon we went to off of Cedar road in Chesapeake and all that salon did was highlights and a hair cut. Nothing else.
