I had my hair styled for an annual gala in Charlotte and loved the results. The atmosphere and vibe was very upbeat, so a great experience all around! I will definitely go back!

Melly did a wonderful on on my hair! When I walked in, my hair was damaged and dry but by the time I got out of her chair, my hair had been well taken care of. She carefully trimmed my ends while leaving my hair feeling much softer and healthier! She listened and was kind, it was very nice to meet her!

My hair had gotten so damaged and unhealthy but I was able to get a trim and silk press that made my hair so much healthier looking and feeling! I have gotten so many compliments! Cannot recommend her enough 🤩

Courteous, accommodating, and very professional. I couldn’t be happier with my braids. I was a little nervous as it’s been years since I’ve had my hair braided and was tender headed them. Melly was great and took great care even. Highly recommend

I requested the services of M factor to locate a wig color and style that would best fit me to be used for protective styling. The wig that was selected by the M Factor has exceeded my expectations. I am constantly getting compliments when I wear it. The last person told me my hair was a whole vibe! Thank you M Factor for making me look my best when I’m in your chair and not!

I’ve gone to The M Factor multiple times now to get silk presses and twist outs. I absolutely love Melly’s service. She is kind, communicative over text, helpful with tips, and always on time. If you are looking for a new CLT stylist, go see her. She has an easy online booking system and accepts electronic payment. If you’re a great customer, make sure you become one of her clients! :) she’s the best

I absolutely love my sew in! Melissa is extremely nice and personable and I totally agree with the 5 stars everyone has rewarded her with. My hair is super thick, natural, long, and difficult for ppl who aren’t skilled with natural hair types but Melissa clearly has the experience. My sew-in was Mayvenn hair and age customized my lace frontal by bleaching knots, plucking, and adding foundation to it. Overall it seems like it will last at least 5-6 weeks and I’m extremely satisfied. Definitely returning ! Edit: Somehow my review was only 4 stars when I DEFINITELY gave it 5! So here I am editing this so the people know! Get your hair done here sis!

I booked an appointment with Melly . She was super professional, super vibrant and down to earth .She performed a quick hair analysis ,as my hair was super dry when I came to see her. She knew exactly which products would bring my hair back from the walking dead and I thank her kindly .I received a silk press w/ drop curls and I’m super happy with my results. I left the chair a whole new person, with a whole vibe. 2 weeks later my hair still shining , ok!!!!

I have such a concern with googling to find a black hairdresser. Mellie is the best googling I have ever done. My daughter and I had our own hair braided and she was friendly, gentle and efficient. I've never had anyone do my hair and Melly was the first person I reached out to and I have to say I'm extremely lucky to have her as my first experience at a hair salon. She's extremely friendly, knowledgeable and she knows exactly how to take a request and give a 100%. I have been doing my hair with her the past few months and I do not plan on seeing anyone else.

Melly is amazing! It was my first time ever at a salon and she took care of me! Bleach, dye and cut for a great price! Also a moisture treatment when done. My hair feels soft and the color pops! Not gonna lie, when i came in my hairline wasnt very attractive due to a botched cut but she absolutely fixed it and made me look gorgeous! Love love love!

Melly was a phenomenal stylist and hairdresser. I wish my hair was in better shape prior to our appointment (matte/tangled 4c hair). I didn’t even have to mention what I wanted as she took off with amazing ideas and put a lot of forethought into our session. She was prepared and offered a shampoo, condition treatment, and blowout for a great price. I’ll never consider another hair stylist ever again. Thank you Melly, see you in December.

Omggggggggg where do I begin, she is amazing!!!! Appointment was easy to schedule, my sew-in with blue highlights looked so nice under my cap and gown for graduation. My makeup looked so natural and stunning. Mickey even traveled to make me look beautiful on my special day.
