Update: it’s been 3 months since my hair cut and it’s honestly still going strong, I’ve never had good pictures of my hair from the back before but this haircut has been giving me life in all my pictures! Highly recon getting your hair cut here! I went in for a dry cut done by Kristen, she did an immaculate job. I don’t like getting my hair cut by new people but she listened to everything I wanted and checked in with every step to make sure I was happy with the style. We were done in 18 mins and this was one of the best haircuts I’ve gotten. If I lived nearby I’d be a regular here!

Madelyn is so sweet and helped me big time when I went from brown to blonde. I would recommend her to anyone. HOWEVER, today I had an appointment for a color refresh as the brown faded (which she said would happen) I made an appointment with whatever stylist was available because it was the only time I had available. I booked a 1.5 hour appointment for a color refresh/root regrowth. The stylist told me she didn’t have enough time to do my hair. It would take longer than an hour and a half. She said I would have to book a longer appointment and it would cost more money. I booked the the same exact appointment I had going from complete blonde to brown so I was really thrown off. I had to use PTO to come to the appointment so I was salty. I left and went to Sally’s and the girl there showed me what to do and I did it myself and it came out perfect. Cost me $6 and took about 40 minutes.

Had a great experience here with Kristen, who specializes in curly hair cuts. She cut and styled my curls beautifully, and I plan on returning. Also the salon has gorgeous natural lighting, and I found the entire experience to be very relaxing.

I got a perm there.The perm came out good and the pricing was good. She suggested I cut off the dead ends and add ghost layers so I allowed her too. Both sides of my head came out uneven with the back also being shorter. I asked if she can trim my bangs a little and they ended up being very short and uneven . I’m very disappointed in this, especially being my first time here. I was unaware the trim wasn’t included with the perm which was fine but the cut did not come out good at all and very noticeable. I also made the owner aware afterwords and was told I didn’t leave the salon like that , that I did that to myself. Not sure why I or anyone else would do that to their hair.. She did offer to fix it but said she would not refund my money (which I didn’t even ask for) due to me going home to destroy my own hair. I had it fixed somewhere else.

My friend’s car broke down and she couldn’t make her appointment. When she called to explain, they charged her credit card $90 for a missed appointment!! So awful.

Came here for a medium length men’s haircut and Kristen was AMAZING to work with!!! She really took the time to understand what I wanted and I left super satisfied, one of the best cuts I’ve ever gotten.

I haven't been in scranton for very long, so i had a hard time deciding what hair salon to try. The Mane Room was right in my area and i thought "how convenient". I am so thrilled with Krysta. and as i told her, i am hard to impress. The mane room is very clean and has a comfortable vibe. krysta is super talented. i had her cut and style my mop and it came out absolutely gorgeous. Finally, i have found my new hair salon and stylist!!!

We just moved from Boston so I needed a new salon and found The Mane Room. Kristen is amazing. The whole salon has a great vibe. She did an amazing fade on my son that would bring a proud tear to any old school rockabilly barber, and permed the top of his hair so he had some waves and body. As for me, let me say she's brilliant at pixie cuts...I have had one for a while and I'm picky, they're not forgiving haircuts and not everyone does them well. Kristen is AMAZING at them. Definitely my new hair home!

I cannot speak highly enough of Kristen and The Mane Room. Very, very kind and welcoming. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted, and Kristen gave me some wonderful ideas and suggestions. I absolutely LOVE the cut I got, and will definitely be going back when I need anything done.
