This review is not a reflection of the salon MOD. However it is regarding T the Nail tech that operated her business here. I first want to share my initial experience upon arrival T the nail tech ran 20 min or so behind, she greeted me with kindness and apologized, however during the entire nail appointment she proceeded to apply my Gel - X nails, I realized they seems extremely thin and cheap ( I wasn’t use to it) however I trusted her professionalism in believing she’s experienced enough to apply Gel x and use decent materials. After I left the same day my nail broke in half. I’m use to Apres brand and this wasn’t that brand for sure. She responded to my text 24 hours and asked me to come back for a repair. She then texted the morning of my repair stating she’s running behind 15 min. I live 30 miles away from the salon, I ran into two huge traffic jams. I advised her I’ll be there in the next 8 or 10 min. I reached Hillsborough Ave she texted back stating “ I’m not going to have time to do your nail repair, I pushed my 11am appointment back for you and I can not push her back again” I was shocked to have drove over 30 miles ( close to 36 min away ) to reach the area to have to turn around to go back home. My time, gas was waisted, she’s unprofessional, inconsiderate has no empathy, young immature and needs professional mentor in this line of business to help her understand the nature of her business on all levels. She lacks personality and uses CHEAP products and over charge. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER AT ALL.

I love this salon it feels like home! Jessicka Vega does a stellar job as well as communicating and asking what it is you want in your hair. My skin tone is warm but I prefer cooler shades in my hair. A lot of stylists don't always want to listen to your preference but she is willing to ask and oblige.

My hairdresser, Alexa, is the best. The salon is beautiful and the ambiance cozy and comfortable. It is by appointment only! Prices are reasonable.

Wao, I just called trying to make an appt and Kathleen picked up. I was refd by facebook friend .... she rudely hung up on me. I called twice and was sent to voicemail. Just lost a potential customer. If customer service is that bad, I definetely dont want to invest my time in such hostile environment.

Jessicka is the most amazing stylist! I wouldn't trust anyone else in Tampa with my hair. She listens to what I want and makes it happen. She is not only a fantastic colorist and stylist but she also treats each of her clients so well (and includes a neck and scalp massage with her wash!). I love Jessicka and will follow her wherever she goes!
