I came in because my hair is heat damaged and i wanted to get a shape and cut to make it look better while getting my hair back to good health. I was really nervous because i’d never gotten a curly cut before. I booked with Bee and my cut came out perfect for what i needed! Bee definitely knows what she’s doing, she listened to my concerns and I trusted her to do her thing which she did!

We came in for a kids cut for a kid cousin who was visiting and had a traumatizing hair styling experience. Bee was patient and gentle, really taking the time to educate both the kid on hair maintenance and care, as well as taking the time to educate the family as well. The care and attention to detail that is shown by both Bee and Mona about the customer and their hair is ASTOUNDING. You can not go wrong by coming here. Everyone who came in and left looked so happy with their cuts. Our kid cousin left w much more confidence than we have ever seen in her before just from one hair style and cut experience! Thanks for everything you did to make it a wonderful environment of learning and healing Bee!

I've been following Mona for a few years. I think she is incredibly talented so when she began offering education I knew I had to attend. I love her intuitive way of cutting and being able to translate her techniques in a way that really make sense. If you ever have a chance to invest in your career with Mona do not hesitate.

I had an appointment with Daysa for hair coloring. I have to say this stylist is AH-MAZING!!!! I usually have difficulty describing exactly what I want. Daysa is excellent at asking questions to help her understand how to deliver the best results. She is down to earth, friendly, personal and a master of her craft. If i had the money I would double whatever I give her. I don't want to hype her up too much so I can still get an appointment. She is a truly talented stylist who I would gladly follow wherever she goes. She is truly worth it.

Overpriced, they’ll try to charge you a big amount. If you dare to ask for a lesser price they will literally ignore you. No phone number to call and contact which is unheard of. There’s a spot on 27th street that is more professional and charge fairly. Save your time and $.

This is a great place to get your curly cut. Black girls should have no fear! Mona cut my hair the last time I was there. She knows her stuff and has all the products needed to style and finish my type 4c hair. Plus, she knows how to style for black women and women with coily/kinky hair. You can enjoy the entire experience vs just getting a dry cut. If I lived in NYC she would be the stylist I frequent on a regular basis. In between, it's dry cuts only for me in my town!

I use to fly from ATL to NYC just for her cut. But for the longest I was wondering why my hair growth was so stagnant. I finally found someone local that told me I should be getting trims THEN getting my curly hair shaped. 2 weeks after getting a curly cut from Mona, I went for a blow out then trim and my ends looked so bad. I wish I knew better sooner. Other than that great shop and great customer service.

As a hairstylist myself. I love this place. Super friendly hairstylist. Very knowledgeable in what they do. Steven cuts my hair and its never looked BETTER. Thank god for mona and her cutting techniques. AMAZING

If I could give INFINITY stars, I would. I walked in with long, curly hair and got a big chop. I love it so much!! Not only is the haircut amazing, but Mona and her assistant B are fantastic humans. I have social anxiety and usually hate going to salons because I'm forced to make meaningless small talk and it makes my skin crawl. That was not the case with Mona and B! We started talking about hair and then just started vibing. I can't wait to go back!!!
