Nachiさんにカットとトリートメントをお願いしました。 Nachiさんはとってもお話しやすく、私の髪質に合わせてご提案&細かくご調整頂き、希望通りのカットにして頂きました♫ 生まれてから伸ばしっぱなしだった娘の髪の毛のファーストカットもお願いしました。これまでは自宅で前髪だけ切っていたのですが、前髪の幅、前髪から後ろ髪への流れ、毛先の厚みなど整えて頂き、やはりプロの手が入ると全然違うなあと実感しています！ ありがとうございました！

I love this place. Service was amazing and they really cared about the style that I really wanted. They also offered great suggestions in case I wanted to try something new. They’re also great with kids which is a huge plus !!

Sou is wonderful! He's been cutting my hair for years. The New End is a beautiful salon and all the staff are friendly and professional. Always able to fit me in when I need a last minute cut. I can't say enough good things. The wash, cut, massage, and final adjustments make for an amazing experience.

こちらの美容院本当にいいです！ カットの技術、カウンセリング、髪に良いカラーリングの質など全てにこだわっていて毎回満足しています。 スタイリストのなちさん、本当にありがとう。ショートカットに挑戦したのですが、不安な気持ちが吹き飛ぶくらい気に入る出来になりました。人気があるので混むこともありますがカットの手際もよく、接客がいいし 忙しい店なのでお会計少し待つことがたまにあっても大満足てした。ずっとリピートします！

After nearly 10 years of getting my hair cut and coloring by Nachi, I’m finally writing this review! I’ve followed her from her previous salon Midtown East to her own at The New End, and I can confidently say she’s the best hair stylist in town. Whether it’s a haircut, balayage, coloring, or keratin treatments, she always does an incredible job. Nachi has an amazing eye for style and attention to detail, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. She’s truly a gem, and I’m so grateful for her talent and hard work. Thank you, Nachi-san!

I have been here a few times - at the new location and the old! Both were beautifully decorated and have great vibes. The staff is always kind and welcoming. They have high attention to detail and I always leave with perfect coloring!

Unprofessional, incompetent, and an absolute waste of time and money. I scheduled a short men’s perm and, less than a day before my appointment, was asked to come earlier than the agreed time. I accommodated—mistake number one. When I arrived, the stylist skipped the basic courtesy of washing my hair. Every other salon I’ve been to washes hair before cutting or perming for hygiene reasons and to ensure no products or oils interfere with the process. Not here. Instead, she immediately started cutting—even after I told her I was trying to grow my hair out and didn’t want it cut short. I was under the impression that the haircut was included with the perm because we never agreed upon additional services. The perm process was even worse. She took over an hour just to put the rods in because she couldn’t figure out what she was doing. She repeatedly asked the owner for help, and eventually, the owner had to step in and take over. Her excuse? “I didn’t realize you don’t blow dry your hair.” What kind of stylist blames their inability to do their job on something so irrelevant? By the end of this ordeal, I had a lopsided perm that looked amateurish at best. To top it off, I was charged for both a perm and a haircut—even though I didn’t want a haircut and only booked a perm. This entire disaster took 2.5 hours of my life and left me with a terrible, overpriced result. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else. This place is a joke.

アメリカではじめてかけたパーマでしたが、間違いなく、いままでのベストです！技術の違いや頭皮の健康などを考え、アメリカでパーマをかけることに少し躊躇していたのですが、施術前のシャンプー、パーマのプロセス、最後のカット、いずれも大満足でした。おかげさまで、思い描いていたヘアスタイルにすることができました。 オーナーは日本人で、日本の美容技術が導入されており、スタイリストの多くも日本で修行を積んできたとのことでした。 店内はお客さんが多く少し待ちましたが、席に呼ばれるまでそれほどかからず、また手際よくも丁寧に施術をしていただきました。こちらの要望も丁寧に聞いていただき、意見なども出してもらえて安心でした。 最終的な支払もスムーズで、相場感よりも安く済んだので、とっても得した気分でした。次回も是非お願いしたいと思います！ This is the best perm I have ever had! Their skills, hospitality, and detailed styling were amazing, even like magic. Though I was a bit afraid of the perm techniques of American hair salons, I was really satisfied with the relaxing hair washing, quick work of the perm process, and remarkable cutting skills of this salon. This process resulted in the ideal hairstyle for me! According to the owner, their skills are rooted in the techniques of Japanese hair salons, and they were trained in the salon in Ginza, Tokyo. Although their work was so quick and skillful, they also kindly tried to understand and accept my request with some fun talk. The price was less than I expected and a completely good deal for me! I definitely will come back again to this cozy place.

Before I found The New End, I tried a new salon every haircut because I wasn’t satisfied and wanted to see what else was out there. Strikingly, since coming here **I have not gone to another salon in 3 years**. Nachi intuitively understands what look you want, and knows how to cut thick asian hair to make it light and bouncy without losing visible volume. The rest of the staff are warm and friendly! I have sent friends and coworkers here and they have had similar experiences. Grateful to have found my go-to salon!

Nachi has been cutting my hair now for about a decade. She is an intuitive stylist, fast and accommodating of my shifting schedule. Plus, always good humored and good to speak with. She also styles my wife’s hair. The New End is highly recommended.

Since coming to New York, I’ve always entrusted my son’s haircuts to Nachi! This hair salon is very clean and completes the cut quickly and carefully within 30 minutes (finishing before kids get bored and start running around!). They have adorable haircut capes designed for kids and are flexible with appointment times, even after school. What an amazing place for busy moms—it’s absolutely perfect! ❤️

Highly recommend The New End. Very skilled, caring and thoughtful service. They cut all hair types well but especially Asian hair and they offer a head spa which really helps with dry scalp. I’ve been going since they opened and have been happy with every haircut!

The best. Have been working with the owner on my hair for the last 10+years. She is absolutely hands down the best. The team is professional and attentive to your needs, makes great suggestions on updates and your hair needs. My husband refuses to go to a barbershop since he started coming here 5 years ago. Always walk out looking and feeling prettier and more put together. Im definitely on the pickier side, and would not have anyone else touch my hair.
