Updated review: I initially had an issue with the front desk that left me frustrated, but upon seeing my review, the owner called me from her personal cell number and more than rectified the situation! I will definitely be back now after seeing how seriously she takes her business and cares about her clients

We are monthly members and I've had the pleasure of working with destiny from the start. She asks the right questions beforehand and during the experience while be mindful of any concerning areas brought to her attention. She has exceeded my expectations so far and has been one of the reasons I continue to use The Now. Great staff, convenient scheduling and the owners listen to their clientele. Highly recommend

I love this massage location and I have been going here for over a year now. My favorite massage therapist is Angel. She does not disappoint. With Angel, the intro to your massage experience, the insights she seeks beforehand and how she is able to apply techniques to relax you early in the massage process stand out and leave you in such a relaxed state of mind and your body feeling light. She checks in to make sure you are getting what you need during the massage and understands how to apply just the right amount of pressure and tension to soothe those tight muscles. I was beyond impressed by Angel and will be choosing her again.

Overall the experience at NOW was pleasant. The atmosphere was the most relaxing I’ve ever experienced. The staff were pleasant and attentive. However, if you book a stretching massage, I expect the stretching to be prominent. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

All of the best massages I’ve ever had have been with The Now Midtown! Each massage therapist has been amazing, communicative, and exceeds my expectations. The vibes are immaculate- so relaxing, soothing, and welcoming. I could not recommend this location enough!

I thought my experience was okay. Therapist was very kind. But for the amount of money I spent, I was a little disappointed. I paid for a 80 minute massage but my massage started after the appointment time since we talked before about problem areas, what type of pressure, what to do/expect when entering the room. I got changed and waited for the therapist to arrive. I’m not sure what time she started but she ended exactly on the time it would end if it started exactly at my scheduled time. I have never experienced at other massage places. My problem area wasn’t worked on as much as I’d like. The sound of the waves was a little too much for me and not as relaxing as music. I probably will not be back especially since I spent a lot of money I saved for to work on this chronic pain.

I’ve been coming to The Now for over a year and I’m so glad I invested in the membership. My fav massage therapist to go to is Sarah! She’s phenomenal and always makes sure I have the most relaxing experience. The staff is super friendly. Truly, I’m so glad I invested in my self care with The Now!!

The Now Midtown Raleigh is amazing! The customer service at the desk is welcoming and wonderful and the massage therapists that I have had are nurturing of a relaxing environment and sensitive to any specific muscle problems that I have. They always bring a glass of water to me after my massage and are so kind. My mom and I love coming here and will continue to come!

What a great atmosphere and ambiance here at NOW! I loved the aesthetic upon entrance and the quiet, easygoing atmosphere created immediately upon entering. Tevin was so hospitable and kind and ensured my hubby and I were taken care of going above and beyond to make sure we felt valued as customers and had maximum amenities offered to enjoy our massages. Breanna was a great masseuse getting right to work with great hands and attentiveness to tension points. Cannot wait to return!

Would give zero stars if it would let me. They do not train their providers. It was the worst massage I've had in my life and I'm extremely embarrassed because I brought a guest and they had the same experience as me. I've had countless massages and know what to expect. The masseuse sat there and poked at me, to the point where I had to double check if I booked the right type of massage. It was supposed to be a regular Swedish massage and it was very uncomfortable to have someone poking and doing pinching motions as if they were popping pimples. I also called them to talk about it so I wouldn't have to discuss it in front of everyone sitting in their lobby. Annika had zero interest in understanding why it was a bad experience and did not ask anything further when I said it was a bad experience. She said she would email me a cancellation form, but I have not received anything. It's ridiculous you have no ability to cancel the membership on your own. All around a very poor and uncomfortable customer experience.

Very poor customer service. They hung up me twice. They said nothing abt cancellation fees. I cancelled within 3 hrs they charged me without informing abt any such policy. Not one person let me talk to the manager.

I have been getting monthly massages at The Now Midtown for almost 5 years! I’ve had the most amazing therapists’! The owners are all so accommodating and truly outstanding! Stacey will literally do anything to assure your experience is nothing less than exceptional! Each therapist is hand selected and magical! I literally can’t wait until my next massage.

I have been to NOW Massage Midtown twice, and both times my provider (Brittney) has been great! I have been dealing with some back pain, and she seemed knowledgeable, and was able to address my concerns. It's a very calming and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Went for the first time today to NOW massage at Midtown Raleigh. My therapist was Destiny and she was amazing! Unique set up and it was a welcomed new atmosphere. I would highly recommend! Quiet, waves at the ocean music and white noise. Very relaxing. They cater to you like a vacation spa. ❤️❤️

Having not had a massage or stretched my muscles in some time, this was by far one of the best experiences I had. Destiny was both attentive and responsive to my body and spent the needed time at points that she felt required the additional attention. As a licensed professional myself, I let her do what she felt was best based on our talk beforehand and everything was done exceptionally. I highly recommend both The NOW and Destiny. Having had professional massages in the past, this ranks up as one of the best ones considering I am a more stocky and muscular kind of guy that benefits from this type of massage. Will continue to go back no doubt.

Immediately welcomed by friendly staff, beautiful aesthetics and calming scents. My massage therapist was wonderful and the space was inviting. I thought the pricing was quite high, but this may be industry-wide, as I believe the price of massages has gone up in general. I'd still come back!

My therapist Akeria was awesome! I can't say enough about this experience as a first time guest. Heres the highlights...smells amazing, linen partitions and wooden doors made this place feel like a spa at resort in the Maldives. The staff is above and beyond the words of friendly!!!! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We saw returning customers coming and they sounded like family the way they talked to each other. I would easily recommend this place for a massage. They also use warming tables and if you haven't had a warming table before, you have been cheated all your life. I melted into relaxation on the table with the aromatherapy at the start of the session. Go to THE NOW, it's worth it!

This was the best massage experience I’ve ever had. I was in Raleigh for a basketball tournament and needed a massage on my back in order to continue playing. The staff fit me into their schedule same day and were incredibly nice from start to finish. Highly recommend. Thank you!

I’ve been a monthly member for about 5 months now and I love it! Highly recommend Lydia if you’re looking for firm pressure or deep tissue work - she’s amazing and is always very communicative before and after the massage. It’s a pretty unique set up with a large room sectioned off into individual little boho tents. The vibes are very relaxing with dim lighting, crashing waves audio, and cozy fabrics. A big perk for me is that it’s a quiet experience (because of the shared space) so there’s no pressure to socialize while you relax. Last thing - the people there are so nice and always happy to help and answer questions! 🫶🏻
