This place is incredibly over priced. Like ridiculously. You get what you pay for and this isn’t a review about the masseuse because he was very nice guy & was trying his best. The quality of the massage was low. You should have me much more pampered for the price. Need a much better massage for $140 for $15.

I got an 80 minute healer massage from Libby. This was my first time here. It was a beautiful place and very calming. I have a lot of knots in my back and neck. Libby was great and my neck is significantly less stiff (it was so bad before coming that i could hardly sleep the past few days.) I would definitely go back.

Love this place so much! The vibe and atmosphere are so cozy and relaxing. The staff at the front desk are so kind and welcoming! And Neyssan has officially become my favorite massage therapist. Perfect amount of pressure and the most wonderful touch. Highly recommend booking with him!

I booked a massage session here for the first time, mainly to address lower back pain. When the therapist asked about my focus areas, I mentioned my lower back as the priority, possibly the upper back as well. However, the session felt heavily skewed, with about 90% of the time dedicated to my upper back, a bit to my middle back and arms, and with 0 attention to my lower back. When I brought this up at the end, I was told the lower back was addressed, but unfortunately, I left with the same lower back pain I came in with. Second star for interior design and cleanliness.

My favorite self care Oasis!! I recently visited and the check in process with Taylor was amazing smooth and accommodating. Hands down, Grigor is one of the best Therapists I have ever experienced . He is able to identify tension and pressure points and relax those areas to the point I feel renewed and recharged when leaving my massage. The checkout process was seamless even with a totally different front desk person Mateo was able to seamlessly pick up where Taylor left off. Overall an amazing experience and I will definitely be back

A fantastic massage with Skye. I really needed work done in my legs and now I’m walking on a cloud. The pain is so diminished compared to when I came in. Great greeting from Jamie who also took me through all the products and enhancements, thoughtful follow up and a calming location. I’ll be back.

Absolutely love the atmosphere and environment here! Such a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Front desk is super helpful and answered all the questions I had. Most recent massage I had here was with Skye. I haven't had a massage that good in years! She definitely took her time in certain area and knew what my body needed. I highly recommend coming to The NOW!!

Front desk team here are amazing super helpful. All the massage therapists are amazing can’t go wrong with anyone. My last massage was with David he was great very knowledgeable and focuses on the areas you ask for, pressure was great throughout the massage.

GO SEE DAVID! Have never had a better massage. He is so intuitive with where to focus/what to do, truly kept thinking how did he know to do that?? He listened so well during the consultation and I felt so heard and comfortable! Not only the excellent massage but the whole place is a big vibe. No detail left out. The folks at the front were also so kind and and helpful! seriously can’t wait to come back :)

I recently celebrated my birthday at The NOW Massage Studio City, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff, who set the tone for a truly relaxing visit. Their cucumber and lemon infused water is the best I’ve ever had—so refreshing! I had the pleasure of receiving a massage from Teresa, who made me feel completely safe and well-cared for. Her skillful hands worked wonders, and I left feeling rejuvenated and cherished. I also had an amazing session with Hushmand—his hands are so big they could cradle the whole world! His technique was phenomenal, and I felt every ounce of stress melt away. I did have a slight booking hiccup with Hushmand, but the general manager, Brandon, handled it with such care and grace. His professionalism and attention to detail truly impressed me. I wholeheartedly recommend booking a session at The NOW. You would be nuts not to! Treat yourself—you deserve it!

Horrible customer service and refused to accommodate my injury. I'd had a membership and had been there many times, but when I was unable to make my appointment due to a leg injury, they said the only way to avoid being charged a cancelation fee was to show up there, which I couldn't on advice of my doctor. I asked if I could just keep the appointment and use up my credit, they said no, that if I didn't show up I would be charged an even higher fee. I understand having a cancelation policy, but it seems like a place supposedly dedicated to "health and wellness" wouldn't insist on charging fees to avoid defying a doctor's advice.

I recently visited the Now for a massage, and I absolutely loved it! The salon has a beautiful, light, and airy design that immediately puts you at ease. They also sell a variety of interesting items like stones, crystals, sage, and everything you might need for Spiritual Techniques. From the moment I walked in, the reception staff was very polite and explained everything in detail. I was taken in for my massage right away. My therapist was Jonathan, and I cannot thank him enough! After his massage, I felt completely renewed. I had some issues with my neck, which are still slightly there, but I understand that I’ll need at least 2-3 more sessions to fully recover, and I definitely want them with Jonathan—his hands are truly magical! I highly recommend him to everyone. The interior of the spa is also stunning, with lots of unique details. The pricing is reasonable, especially if you sign up for their membership. I’ve been to various Thai massage places before, but now I know I’ll keep coming here. The atmosphere really suits me. Highly recommend this place

Such a relaxing experience. Taylor at the front desk made it so easy to check in, providing cold water and a warm welcome. The atmosphere was peaceful and the massage was excellent. Definitely worth the monthly membership.

The place is modern looking. I had massage with a lady called Theresa. She was exceptionally great! I had shoulder pain and other issues, I fell o was in heaven. She had magical healing hands. So thankful!!!

I got a coupon emailed to me for a discounted Mother's Day massage. I went online to book it for my wife & mom, and it was a very disjointed process. In the end the checkout did not work so I decided to call the store. Once I called the store I spoke with a really nice employee (Brandon) who also struggled to book the gift cards. After about 20 minutes I was put on hold, and then the call dopped and I almost lost it. I tried calling back, but it went straight to voicemail. In the end it was sorted out, but I would say some of their back-end software is not working well. I have never tried so hard to spend $200 in my life. Hopefully the massage is worth it. stay tuned.

Update: 2 weeks ago The Now responded saying someone would be in touch after my review, yet no one ever reached out. Original review: This was my first massage here. The place is beautiful. Everyone was so nice, including my masseur. He was very friendly and I believe he had the best intentions, but unfortunately the massage was terrible. I left with my muscles still aching and covered in oil after the 80 minute massage which was actually 70 minutes because we started late. I decided not to complain about it and just got out of there, but this was one of the worst massages I’ve had and also one of the most expensive. I’m feeling pretty upset about it because I was just trying to do something nice for myself after a stressful week. I’m not one to complain but I wish I would have spoken up before I left. There was so much oil in my hair and on my clothes - he did not wipe any of it off after the massage. I had to shower and still didn’t get it all off. I got the now signature massage plus deep tissue but the masseur really did not address my knots. I felt like everything he did aaaalmost felt good. He really lacked intuition and my neck and back still feel tense. He didn’t get into my neck/traps area enough-it felt like he was just pinching my skin over and over. The work he did on my neck felt too close to the front of my neck and too high. The work on my lower back (a hard repetitive scraping from just above my glutes up to my middle back) was incredibly uncomfortable and not something I’ve ever had massaged before - and it didn’t feel good. And he didn’t really touch my glutes for more than a few seconds. He told me to speak up if anything was not great but honestly what can you say when your massage is just not that great? The beginning started off okay, it was a little relaxing, but it quickly went downhill. I’m very active, in shape, and in tune with my body and I’ve had a lot of massages and deep tissue work and this was unacceptable.

I had a terrible experience at The NOW. After it, I would prefer to refer to this place as The NEVER. Some of the staff members are extremely rude and disrespectful, especially Brandon, who is simply the worst representative of a company I have ever come across in my entire. He should be nowhere near customers! In my opinion, he should not be anywhere near a business unless his position is toilet bowl maintenance. Brandon, you are disgusting!

Painful Experience and Poor Service Follow-Up at the NOW I recently had an 80-minute massage at the NOW, which unfortunately fell short of relaxing or rejuvenating. Despite multiple requests, the therapist did not adjust the pressure, causing me significant discomfort. The result was not just a lack of relaxation but actual pain: I am now bedridden, unable to move my head to the left for almost a week and experiencing acute neck and back pain, necessitating medication and possibly a visit to urgent care. Furthermore, my attempt to address this with the management through an email has been met with silence for over a week. This lack of response has only increased my dissatisfaction. A gesture of store credit might have helped mitigate the situation, but without any acknowledgment of my complaint, I am left to caution others about my experience and advise them to consider other establishments for their massage needs.

Truly the worst massage I have ever had - and I've had many many wonderful massages throughout LA in my lifetime. She started late, ended early, didn't adjust pressure when asked, massaged on my actual spine instead of along the spine, and worst of all didn't actually work out any knots. She just lightly touched various parts of my body and stayed in each spot for many minutes, as if trying to kill time. It was my first time at the NOW, and I got the $140, 80 minute massage. By the 10th minute, I wished it was over and I was so uncomfortable that it actually made me stressed out as it went on. Definitely not going back. To top it off, the employee there at the time said she'd have the general manger reach out to discuss the situation. That never happened. Truly messed up :/
