If you take nothing else away from this review, at least remember this: Carmella is the best therapist at The NOW West Hollywood. Her touch is incredible, and she has an intuitive ability to target exactly where you need attention. Whether you’re dealing with stress, muscle tension, or just want to relax, she’ll make you feel like a whole new person by the end of the session. The environment at The NOW is also beautiful and serene, but Carmella truly sets the bar high. If you’re booking an appointment, do yourself a favor and request her—you won’t regret it! I'm unfortunately moving away from CA and only just discovered Carmella a few sessions ago and I'm SO bummed I didn't work with her sooner!

This place is a gem! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, and the massage therapists are skilled at working out tensions seen and unseen. I love that they offer 35 and 55 minute sessions with upgrades, making self care accessible for all. I needed something impactful and quick, and they definitely did the trick!

Carmella is THE best. I’ve been a repeat customer for The Now for many years because the price, ambience and customer service can’t be beat. And my most recent massage with Carmella is the best I’ve ever ever had. She listened to my needs and knew exactly how to take care of them. Johnny M is THE reason to go to The Now Weho! I’ve suffered from chronic pain due to a car wreck for over 18 years and I’ve been to a LOT of massage therapists in that time. Johnny is one of the most gifted therapists I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. He is extremely intuitive and knowledgeable! He finds points of tension that have long been forgotten or overlooked. Johnny provides the most relief of any therapist I’ve ever had at The Now (I’ve been a member for more than 5 years and I’ve been to 3 locations). The Now is a wonderful establishment with a uniquely pleasing aesthetic. Make sure you book your next massage with Johnny M!

Love The Now, my roommate introduced me to them (she has a monthly membership). I’ve gone twice now and I’ve really enjoyed both massages. Had Johnny today and it was great, he really targets points of tension and works out the knots. I carry a lot of stress in my shoulders and neck and he really helped ease the tightness and help me to relax. 10/10 service - will for sure be back to see Johnny and might even get a membership!

One of my favorite spots for a massage! I love working with Queen, Caylen, Johnnae, and Theresa—they're all incredible therapists who truly understand the body. Each session leaves me feeling relaxed and educated about my own well-being. The atmosphere is soothing and inviting, making it the perfect escape from everyday stress. I always leave rejuvenated and looking forward to my next visit!

Would leave zero if I could. My masseuse was Jonny. From the moment I walked in, he basically jumped down my throat to get the massage started. I had a deep tissue bonus—he asked where I wanted to focus and he said it’s best to skip my lower body to do that, so I asked for 5 minutes of lower body and then to focus on the deep tissue which he seemed displeased with. During the massage, he ignored that entire conversation and ended up spending half the time on my legs and used little to no pressure on my entire body, completely ignoring the deep tissue add on I paid for. What’s worse, I had to listen to dogs barking during the ENTIRE massage. Towards the end, I had to interrupt the massage to ask what’s going on with the dogs and he said he could offer me earplugs but that it would cut into my massage time. When I brought this up to the front desk after they told me I should have asked in advance…? How am I supposed to know I was supposed to ask for this… Would not recommend. Go anywhere else. Massage was below average and trash for the price. Customer service nonexistent. Following details of a reservation doesn’t exist. Listening to dogs barking during your entire experience is disturbing and the last thing during what should be a relaxing hour.

If you are looking for peace and tranquility, this is the wrong place to go. The membership is a scam. They will lure you into membership but charge you an ADDITIONAL month of membership AFTER you cancel your membership. Service and attitude of workers and managers there beyond horrible. It's clear that the whole establishment just wants money money money.

I’ve been coming to The Now consistently for over a year and Michelle is by far the best massage therapist I have tried! She actually cares about your problem areas and checks in throughout to make sure the level of pressure is okay. I would highly recommend booking with her for your next massage!

Johnny has become my go-to therapist whenever I visit The Now. I have chronic migraines exacerbated by tension headaches, and I was told by my doctor (embarrassingly for the past 5 years) that I needed to make regular massages a part of my routine. After an especially migraine-heavy month, I finally decided to get a membership at The Now. Since visiting Johnny every other week, I’ve gone from consistently having 2-3 debilitating migraines per week, to only one manageable migraine in the past two months. It’s totally changed my functionality, and now I prioritize my bi-weekly massage above everything else. I would recommend Johnny and The Now to anyone!! Bonus: if you happen to fall deeply asleep during your massage and begin snoring, the amazingly soothing sound of ocean waves crashing throughout the studio completely masks your snores, which for socially anxious people such as myself, is a huge plus.

Sadly it’s been a minute since I’ve had a massage. This place is the Mecca. Mothership of massage. A+ atmosphere. Kind and gentle staff. Big shout out to Greg.

I recently visited this place based on a friend’s recommendation, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The massage I received was not what I had hoped for, and I ended up with bruises on my back. Despite my specific instructions, the therapist focused on areas I had asked him to avoid and seemed to apply little to no pressure. It also felt as though he might not have been fully qualified, as he struggled to perform a proper massage and appeared frustrated when I tried to guide him. Additionally, the room was uncomfortably cold, with the air conditioning blowing directly on me, which made it very difficult to relax. They also charged me for the massage, even though I had to stop it halfway due to concerns about the therapist's qualifications. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place based on my experience. It felt like a waste of both time and money.

My friend gave me a certificate for $150. I came to The Now WeHo to make an appointment and showed my certificate several times. They asked for a bank card to make an appointment. I picked 80 min with $155 price. In the end when I had already left I saw that they were charging $155 from my card. For what did I show the certificate? Why did you make them? If someone suddenly wants to give a certificate as a gift, I really don’t recommend it.

I had the best experience at the Now on Beverly. After reading reviews, I specified to have Caylen as my therapist. Caylen was able to target my muscles tightness stemming from years of back pain. I left so grateful for the relief that Caylen’s massage gave me. I asked to focus on that specific area and they listened. Thank you!!

I never write Google reviews, but Carmella at NOW is talented enough that I had to. She’s truly a magician. 10/10 recommend booking with her! I was having horrible back pain and left feeling so much relief. Now recommending her to everyone I know in LA.

My back pain is so much better now that I found Carmella! I’m a retired hairdresser who stood on my feet 8 hrs a day for 20 years. Carmella always works out my problem areas and gives me advice on stretches to do in between appointments. I’m so grateful to find her and highly recommend her.

it was ok 6/10. average quality massage that you can get anywhere. no information on massage therapists and their experience with body work. it’s mostly suited for “the vibe” and just to chill. if you had the best massage in your life - you will know what i mean

My Massage Therapist Carmella was amazing, of the best massages i’ve had ( if not the best). She addressed all my areas of concern, i could barely move my neck and shoulders as they were in pain. I left feeling soooooo much better, I could function now lol. The therapist has amazing hands, I literally felt that I was also getting energy work.. as an added bonus. Girls in the front are professional and super sweet ,the boutique is also very clean .

Sarah was great and a terrific therapist. However, the customer service was terrible. Very disappointed in that experience dealing with the other logistics outside of the actual massage.
