Organic Salon is exactly what I was looking for. My stylist Britt is funny, kind, and extremely talented. Every haircut I've gotten from her is my favorite haircut so far!!! She's magic with a razor and gives me the shag of my dreams.

Life changing experience with Briana’s Ritual Haircut. This earth goddess works with you to set intentions for what you are letting go and what you are calling in. She lets you take the first cut and provides a ceremonial like space for your hair ritual. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants more intentionality in their life.

I’ve been coming to this salon for a few years now. When my initial stylist left I was turned over to Brittani and I could not be happier!! She is not only an amazing human but she is such a talented hairstylist. I always go in with an idea but tell her to do what she thinks would be best because I trust her so much, and I always leave super happy. She listens to what you want and makes it even better. I love the edginess she puts into my hair and how focused she is on her craft. I’ve moved an hour away and I am still seeing her! Thank you Brittani!!

A warning to my curly haired POC ladies out there. AVOID THIS SALON. I did some research and tried to book an appointment with Loba at Loba Studios, which specializes in curly hair. She was booked and referred me to another stylist in the same salon, that was red flag number one. Red flag number two, she brushed my curly hair dry instead of brushing it wet "which causes breakage and is a huge NO". Then the 3rd red flag, she blew dried my curly hair as if it was straight. There was no love or care towards my hair texture and overall hair health. I went in excited and hopeful but after she left and came back from another hair consultation...I couldn't hold my tears back. It was one of the worst experiences I've had at a hair salon, I've never cried at a salon before. I somehow left the salon with frizzy and straight hair. After washing all the products she put in, my hair is not it's usual self or as curly as it used to be. To all my melanin queens and mi comunidad latina. I am not writing this review with spite but as a warning for those who embrace and love their natural hair as much as I do.

Brittani is a curly hair extraordinaire! She has been cutting my hair for the last 3 years, and I always leave satisfied. She guides you through the process and takes the time to understand your hair, suggesting new ideas if you're a repeat visitor. If you have curls, you know your hair can be a bit of a surprise when it dries (or if you're too lazy to diffuse it every time 🙋🏻‍♀️). Brittani always lets me know that if there's something I'm unhappy with, I can come in and she will tweak it. So far, I haven't had to do that, but it's reassuring to know it's an option! The salon is clean and relaxing. The picture with the orange background is from the day of the haircut, while the outdoor photo was taken a few days later.

Brittani is the absolute best!! As someone with short hair— she does an amazing job of cutting my hair in a way that looks great in the moment and five weeks later!!! Can’t recommend her and the salon enough :)

I’ve just had my second curly cut with Ariana. She does such an amazing job with my curls! I used to always get a blowout when I’d get my pictures taken because I’d never know how my curls would look and hated how flat it always looked. These are my first professional photos with my hair curly and I couldn’t be happier with how awesome my hair looks thanks to Ariana!

I got my hair cut and colored by Briana, and wow, I am so impressed! The ambiance of the salon and Briana's calm, happy presence made the experience very enjoyable. I love that they use natural products, everything smelled amazing rather than like chemicals. I would highly recommend Briana and The Organic Salon!

Olivia (IG @hairbyowlz) did exceptional on my red hair. I’ve been going to the same colorist for 7 years and she gave me exactly what I wanted and was used to on the first try. Incredibly communicative on the process, great questions to make sure she had the right plan, and supportive feedback on some low maintenance options or new trends. She’s so experienced yet actually has availability bc she recently moved her business to Denver. Book quick before she’s gone, anyone with this talent would take weeks to get into normally!!! Ps. I was brand new to organic/non tox dye and now I can’t imagine going back- def worth it!

The lady did an awesome job communicating with my hair. She did an awesome job accommodating my bridesmaids’ hair requests. They all looked beautiful. She was upfront about pricing and over did an 10/10 job. Highly recommended!

I’ve not had much luck in the past finding a place that is able to consistently get it right. Usually, the first two or three stylings go well and then things go poorly. I have thick, wavy hair that is difficult to manage and The Organic Salon is the first place I’ve found that consistently gets it right and does so in amazing fashion. Ariana always leaves my hair with fabulous vivids and cuts that really fit me. Woman-owned and local instead of a national chain. Everyone here is personable and highly skilled. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Stylist, Ariana Marie-- I’ve never had a consistent hair stylist in Denver because I’ve gotten cuts that require more daily work than I’m willing to fit into my morning routine. I waited to leave a review until I’d seen Ari a few times, and after three appointments she has not once disappointed me! My curl pattern is a super subtle loose wave and gets weighed down easily by too much product or not enough layering. The way Ari cuts my hair, I can air dry with no products for everyday wear. If I want to do something more polished, I just need five minutes and two products. She’s a texture magician! Venue-- The salon is always clean and bright! Full of plants and sunlight, plus cozy decor.

This place is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere, the stylists, the products, the community, ALL OF IT! I used to drive to Boulder to get my haircut, but I live in Denver so was looking for somewhere closer, so glad my google search led me to this magic! Alyssa is a gem! She is super talented, patient and cares about every single detail. This salon is located on the coolest block in town. I am so grateful I said YES to The Organic Salon Denver because not only has it led me to all my hair needs, but also to meeting and creating some incredible friendships!

Ariana is amazing!! I found her last year before my wedding and she has continued to impress me every time I see her. In 37 years she’s the first person who could tame my curls and teach me how to take care of them. I highly recommend her and this salon!

I drive an hour into see Alyssa not only because she’s an excellent hairdresser, but because she runs a clean salon using healthy, non-toxic products like Organic Coulour Systems hair color (the most non-toxic hair color products I’ve ever found) and Cult and King styling products. The world needs more of this type of salon and its artisans!

I have been seeing Ariana for over a year now, by the first cut she took my wavy hair to defined curls and body with minimal daily effort. I have religiously used every product she has introduced to, advising on my entire hair routine she has yet to lead me astray. She has done fantastic a balayage, highlighting, color correcting, styling, treatments, and many more - my hair is the healthiest and most low maintenance it’s ever been.

This salon operates differently as they charge by the hour. I don’t mind this, and don’t mind paying higher prices for good service and quality products, but my last experience was not a good one. I’ve been seeing Melissa who at first she was very sweet and easy to work with, but when the salon started to get busy she seemed to change. Before my appointment we exchanged text messages and agreed upon a time frame to complete my services, but when I got there she started complaining that it wasn’t going to be enough time, and made me feel like it was my fault. She ended up over-bleaching my hair, but the worst part was her attitude. She told me their services had become in high demand, and that she was going to raise her prices so that she could work less and make the same amount of money. It became very clear that I was just a warm body with a credit card and there were plenty more where I came from. When it comes to a stylist-client relationship appreciation should go both ways, and I definitely did not feel appreciated.

If you care about avoiding toxic chemicals and want to achieve your hair goals naturally, this is the salon for you!! Absolutely loved Ariana, she was super knowledgeable and gave great advice/recommendations! Also, they donate all their hair clippings to an environmental organization that uses human hair to clean up oil spills. Yes, apparently human hair can absorb 12x its weight. Makes you think about what you put in your hair... but also makes me feel good to know the hair that's no longer serving me is being used to help animals and the environment. I've officially found my salon in Denver ❤
