Just like her name she is the perfect braiding hair that I never seen , she is so kind and takes a good care of her customers, she is always asking ( i you good?or you need something?)and that it ' s very nice . Really thank you so much aigain

Do NOT go here. They're scammers! They will WAY overcharge you for very lackluster work & terrible customer service. Whatever good reviews they have are most definitly from their family & friends. Their work is not that good, they damaged my hair using excessive heat & were very harsh on my hair in general. The suite was very small & there no AC so it was hot & there were multiple people in there who must've have not bathed in awhile because it stunk pretty badly. I had to hold my breath at time because the girl doing my hair was so musty, not being petty but it was very unprofessional. You know you're going to be in close quarters & in my personal space, just be hygienic. Ultimately I didn't get what I wanted & was misled about the price so I ended up paying over $300 for shoulder length mini twists. Made no sense. They were unnecessarily hostile when I asked why the price was so high. They're thugs & scammers. No professionalism. Stay away, seriously.

The hairstylist is fantastic! She braided my hair with care rather than rushing through it. This was my 3rd or 4th time going. I will definitely go back.

Please stay away. Mary charges premium prices but sadly does not deliver. I do not know where all these positive reviews came from but I fear they are friends and family. I got medium knotless braids and the style was braided so poorly I am having to take them out after only 2 weeks. After spending $280 plus a 20% tip. I have medium/long natural 4a hair and it was immediately sticking out of the braids at the braiding appointment. When I asked her about it she told me foam would fix it. Well it did not- it’s been two weeks, and each day the braids have gotten fuzzier and fuzzier to where they look months old at only two weeks. I’m embarrassed to tell anyone I just got them done. There is something going on with technique where she cannot tuck long natural hair so it does not stick out. When I approached her about this, all she could do is insist that I approved it at the appointment and that the reason it is sticking out is because she didn’t trim the hair off. No, sorry, that’s not a reason my hair would like 3 months old at 2 weeks. Please see someone else.

I LOVE my passion twist! The lady who did my hair was very gentle and took her time and gave me the look I really wanted! Staff was very nice and welcoming and shop was clean ! I will be back! Thank you

On Saturday the rain messed up my plans to curl my hair so at 12:30 PM I called around and Mary was able to get me in within the hour with the style that I wanted at a great price. I have never had Stitch braids that were so painless. Will definitely be returning

Great place to go if you have young kids. If going as adults, there's not much to do except the corn maze and hayride. The corn maze was fun. The person driving the tractor for the hayride went a bit fast. He was swerving back and forth, causing some riders to get smacked with tree branches. It was definitely not a nice leisurely hayride. I would recommend eating before you go or after you go. Concessions were pricey: $8 for a hot dog ( that i returned because it was dry, shriveled up and cold), $8 for 2 chicken tenders (one of which was all gristle), and $5for french fries. I usually don't mind paying for carnival foods, but they are usually good,not so much here. Also, you had to scan the QR code for prices. We were sadly disappointed this year.

I like Mary Because she takes good care of her clients and gives them respect. She braids with passion and love, she is patient and braids according to the customer's request… really I recommend that you visit her hair salon and you will not be disappointed

I looked on line and I was trying to find a salon that specializes in braids for my 9yr. daughter and I came to Perfect Braids on Baltimore Ave. In laurel md, because of the excellent reviews that I read. Trust and believe when I say the reviews were accurate-thats an under statement! Mary(hairstyles) braided my daughter's hair and it was extremely beautiful!!! My daughter is 9 and this is the best anyone has ever braided her hair. I would strongly recommend anyone who is looking for a hairstyles who specializes in braids, to come to this location. Adults or kids you will not be disappointed!!

I waited several weeks to see how the hair and style held up before posting a review. I got invisible small braids with curly ends. First off, they didn't pull my edges or braid tight. That's important to me because I care about the health of my hair. The braids were neat and even. They gently combed and blew dry my 4c hair to ensure no tangles. I knew my hair wouldn't be matted when I took out the braids. The customer service was great- they checked in to make sure I was comfortable with size, look of braids, seating was comfy etc. And they were fast. The braiding hair they used didn't matte or itch after 2 weeks of wearing the braids. I had a great experience and will be back. I got lots of compliments on my braids. The price is comparable to other salons with some that are cheaper and others more expensive.

Summary: Mary is the best of the best, and her shop is welcoming and lively! I met Mary through a mutual friend, and the referral has yielded a friendship that I treasure to this day. Mary keeps a well-oiled machine of a shop, and her styles are quick, effortless, and very modern and classy. There has not been one single hairstyle that I've gotten from her in the 1 year that I have been going to her that I have not received compliments or had people ask me who did it. Her hands are painless too! I recommend you call ahead of time to book your spot ** immediately **. I have seen Mary work clients of all types (children, men, women, different hair textures, people of different races and backgrounds). She is extremely people friendly and genuinely loves to care about her clients. Her team is also very nice and welcoming, especially Nadia. The important question on everyone's mind is pricing, I'm sure! Have no fear - she keeps her prices fair and also goes above and beyond. What can I say? Treat yourself by coming to Mary's shop in Laurel. Parking is also easy and simple.

I just moved in the Laurel area and was looking for someone that do knotless braids . I surf the web and seen that Mary had good reviews so She did my hair in June and done a wonderful job but I made a mistake and put her review at the wrong salon . I just returned on Monday to get my braids redone and again I love my braids from someone that is so kind .

Mary is the sweetest and best braider there is in the DMV area. She always gives you what you asked for and does it in a timely manner. I’ve done knotless, half cornrows and individuals in the backs and simple cornrows. Each time I walk out feeling like I got every penny worth of her affordable prices.

This was the fastest service I ever received for small knotless butt length braids and they looking AMAZING & my edges are laid. Not many people can do perfect work in a short amount of time. & her prices are good! I’m hard to please but Ms. Mary made me a very happy girl. My one and only braider from now on.
