I have been going to Danielle for about 6 months now. I decided to book with her after seeing the amazing results my best friend had with her hair growth and health. She is amazing! She listens to what you want and need and goes above and beyond to make SURE that you do not walk out of her salon unhappy in the least bit. She also is extremely passionate about maintaining hair health (I am a blonde with thin, broken and f-d up hair) while also striving towards the results you are looking for. She’s also very professional and is able to work fast while she talks (literally one of my biggest pet peeves). She’s a magician when it comes to matching the color you want. I have clip in Bellami extensions and she matched them exactly! If I ever move I don’t know what I will do! I’ve found my unicorn :)

I have been seeing Danielle for a little over a year now, starting my hair journey with over processed brittle hair. I have recommended all my clients, family & friends now see her and her practice. For the first time in close to 7 years I am getting compliments on my hair growth and hair health. I will never seek elsewhere. Danielle has a passion for hair just as I do for my profession and it shows in her work. The staff is always friendly and they are a TEAM! 11/10 ladies ✨ keep shining and grinding! ⚡️

I moved to VB two years ago hoping to find a stylist that used Aveda. Rachel has surpassed my expectations. The salon is beautiful, clean and inviting. I’ve never had to wait and Rachel always asks if the service she provided is to my satisfaction. All in the salon are very professional and from what I’ve seen excellent with their clients.

I started seeing Danielle about 3 years ago, after having neglected my hair and my own self-care for a couple years. She worked a miracle color correction for me and made me feel beautiful again. She's been my girl ever since. I won't let anyone else touch my hair ever again. She's amazing and so is all her receptionist and all the stylists who work here. One of the other stylists did my teenaged son's hair for a couple years as well when he was rocking a permed mullet. They are buddies now. I've literally been in Danielle's chair and had the other stylist come over to tell me about a text she received from my son! Highly, highly recommend!

If I could give negative stars I would! I set up an appointment and was excited to get my hair done, I was told to send an image of my hair to receive an estimate. I sent the image of my hair and was told it would start at 290. The day came and I arrived to my appointment, was not greeted unlike other clients who were waiting outside and felt descriminated. I walked inside and asked to be signed in not feeling comfortable after not even being greeted. (Later After approx. 15-20 min someone approched me outside and said they had to do an "investigation" to find my stylist) My stylist arrived late and then she looked at my hair and repeated on several occasions you have a lot of hair, Then she stated to disregard the estimate given because she would be charging me 100 per hour. She said that Because of my hair it would take 6 hours or more. I told her to give me an estimate and she refused to answer my question and instead answered by saying I know if it is a lot sweetie we can just refund your money back from your initial deposit. When I asked again she said do not know this can take 6 or more hours, still not responding my question. Feeling completely descriminated I prefered not to stay because I was afraid they would mess up my hair. I felt like she did not want to do my hair. Horrible customer service, horrible attention to clients, they judge people based on race, and very unprofessional.]

This is the best salon I’ve ever been to! I’ve been going here for about a year now and I’ve never had a bad experience. Everyone is so nice and helpful, and they really take the time to listen to what you want for your hair.

This place is the best! I love Rachel and Danielle! Amazing stylists and humans!!! The location is not the only beautiful thing there, the people who run it are too. When I first moved to the area, I was so afraid I would not find another salon that used Aveda products and people that were as amazing as my girls back in Lancaster, but I was wrong. So happy to be a client.!!

Hello, most of you that have been to my daughters salon know that I am Danielle's very proud mom. Unfortunately, she is experiencing a cyber bully/stalker who finds that rather than lifting others up in this world, they would rather spew hatred and untruth behind the screen of a computer. It is sad that someone who lacks the ability to handle a professional woman who looks into their references and photos prior to deciding to hire and chose to speak the truth to this individual. Well he did not like that, I guess the everyone gets a trophy generation just cant handle being caught in a web of lies. So this harassment has continued daily without any regard for all the work she does to be an amazing business owner, boss, daughter,, wife and friend. With that being said it is this moms wish for you to chose your salon based on the masses and not some sad human who wasnt loved by his momma enough to stand on his own laurels.

I have been coming to the Pier House Salon since moving to VB two years ago. The salon is always clean, location is delightful and the service is excellent. Rachel is always friendly, professional, knowledgeable and flexible. My four teenage children also trust Rachel to cut and colour their hair. I highly recommend Rachel and The Pier House Salon.

I took my daughters to get their hair cut as walk ins. We've decided to make this our go-to salon. The lovely woman who cut their hair, Brandy, not only did an amazing wash, cut and dry for both of them, she taught my older daughter how to better care for her lovely natural curls. The owner, Danielle, is incredibly nice and very professional, ensuring that my girls were treated with dignity and that we all felt at home. She also had her super cute dog there and it made for a very welcoming experience. Also it was very easily affordable, which was really exciting because I love Aveda salons and have never minded paying extra for the quality of service.

I’ve been coming to see Danielle for over a year now, she has helped me through the journey of getting my hair back to prime health. When I came to Danielle I had been bleaching my hair with Aveda for years but along the way something went wrong where my hair got destroyed. After a lot of hard work she’s helped me restore it while maintaining the blonde and I couldn’t be happier. The results Ive seen are even better than what I had imagined. I wont let anyone else touch my hair. The salon itself has always had a great environment and all the staff has been very welcoming. I would 100% recommend coming here for any of your hair needs.

The salon is very clean and welcoming. The decor is absolutely stunning! My hairstylist Stephanie was extremely kind, friendly and professional! She did a wonderful job on my hair, it’s exactly what I wanted! I won’t ever go anywhere else! I highly recommend coming here and asking for Stephanie! :)

We absolutely love the new owner and the way she remodeled the salon. Our stylist, Alexa, is always so kind and courteous and somehow manages to get the look that we want for us even if we can’t articulate what exactly we are hoping to achieve.
