I found this place because I was looking for nontoxic hair color. I lucked out because the stylists here are great. Jaimie, the owner, is amazing! She took the time to figure out my style and understand how my hair takes color. Everyone before has gotten it wrong. I’m extremely particular about my very long layered hair and it’s never looked better. Thank you Jaimie!

i LOVE the powder room. i've been going here for about a year now, and every time i leave, i feel like a billion bucks. the salon is adorable, with lush lively plants, great decor, and super welcoming and cozy atmosphere. i'm always offered an iced coffee with a glass straw, which i just love. and dressed in an adorable robe under the color cape. très chic! she always has little snacks at her station. she goes above & beyond to ensure comfort & care for every client. the lounge chairs at the shampoo bowls are extra comfy with a nice recline and footrest. she even asks you if you want a blanket if you are cold! c'mon!! the owner, and my go-to gal jaimie b is the Best in the game! she does an amazing bleach & tone on me every 6 weeks. she is super skilled at her craft, and is always taking classes, trainings, or teaching to further her education. she uses the Végétalement organic color line on me, and it's awesome. i've been a bleach & tone for half my life, and my hair has never been happier than it is under jaimie's care 💕 she really does Keep It Sexy!

Amazing and beautiful salon! Devon who cut and colored my hair took the time to sit and listen to me and he knew exactly what to do! He is an incredible stylist and human!! I had the best experience at this salon. When you book online with this salon, you have an option to upload inspiration pictures. I received services from Alison, who was sweet, kind and pays attention to detail. Alison sat down and asked me what it was I like about these photos. That communication made all of the difference. She understood my vision and she DELIVERED. It's been a few weeks and I am still SO SO happy with my hair. Everyone was so friendly, great salon.

Way over priced. $1500 just for extension install (not including the hair) Even tho she said it'd only take 2-3hrs. And then charged me $50 for a 15min consultation, which charge I didn't even agree to or know about til I saw my bank transactions! Staff was very nice but even for LA, those prices seem expensive.

Every stylist does a good job. The owner is personable and her dog is the cutest. The owner colored my hair, after the stlyist canceled. It looked phenomenal! Too bad I don't live in California anymore. Highly recommend.

Jose did a great job at explaining how to style my curly hair. I went in with pretty flat curly hair & came out with more volume & definition than i thought could be achieved. Thank you Jose for all the attention to detail & thank you & the team for making me feel welcomed.

Really wonderful experience here yesterday. I got a haircut and blowout with Eduardo. The salon has a very calm relaxing atmosphere. I felt welcome and at ease through the whole process. Kat at the front desk was great too. The interior is chic and airy with lots of plants and natural light. There’s no official parking but there’s a dead end street/alley right past it that I found a spot in.

I really, really wish I could give this place a good review. I've never left a review for anything before and have always assumed that if I had a less-than-awesome experience with a hairstylist it was probably just a mismatch in our tastes or a failure on my part to give clear instructions. I felt compelled to write this because it's honestly the first time I have ever left with the impression that I was taken advantage of. I booked online and called after to confirm that I had chosen the appropriate stylists (following information on the site, I had chosen 2 of them, one for the cut, one for color). I was told my selections were great and I'd be in good hands. When I arrived there was some confusion with the schedule (which wasn't explained to me) and one person would be doing both services. This person repeatedly had to ask a colleague for clarification about basic hair color stuff - like which colors and activators to use. My stylist was quite transparent about not knowing how to use the color line. The advice the colleague provided was off the mark and I had to step in and offer an alternative plan for what to do. We're not talking about some complicated thing - this was a for a single-process root touch-up. The haircut was equally amateurish. I cut my own hair for most of last year and did a better job. I immediately went home and had to fix my bangs and the lopsided ends of my hair. This whole ordeal cost $400. They carry great products and it seems like many of the stylists are well loved. Maybe it was just an off day and it will never happen to anyone else. But if you aren't keen on taking a little risk with your hair and money, maybe think about trying somewhere else first.

My stylist Lizzie Leigh is amazing! I have very, very thick and curly hair. Lizzie's cuts make my hair curl without dreaded wedge head. She's also a great colorist. Apart from all that she's really smart and great to talk to. Go book an appointment with her!

I don’t know much about hair but Michelle was so accommodating and informative! She also cut my hair just the way I wanted it. She only took one look at a picture I showed her and was able to do it perfectly for me, while taking into consideration the way my hair looked and my hair texture. The cherry on top was she was so sweet, which made the time enjoyable and go by quickly!

Silverlake style joint thats hopping busy on a Saturday. Jose hooked up the hair and face with an awesome cut and style - he rocked the look out. Great you can park behind salon. Appointsment ran late which would be a pain if you are on schedule but its Silverlake so just chill, have a cold press coffee and cookie.

I called in, the receptionist the girl was very sweet and got me in right away. The saloon is stylish and cute. Discussing my haircut, seemed good. But once she started cutting she insissted that she knew what she was doing, however she was not doing what I wanted. She said you are going to love it.. being an x hairdresser I could see she was not understanding. I interrupted three times and she was visibly not happy and seemed insulted by my interruption. After cutting too short where i wanted long pieces and leaving too long places I wanted short. Blending everything when I wanted it chunky. She said, I can’t cut your hair any shorter! You showed me two photos! (True but they both had elements l wanted the top towards the face pixy-ish like the first photo and the second showing pieces that were long and whispy. Apparently she didn’t understand or really hear me. She justified her cuts and said she could still do what I wanted. Hmmmm? That was too late. But She went about blending cutting it shorter. Then she said I’m done cutting I can cut anymore! I was unhappy and she was mad. For color she said I am going to do I semi permanent color on you. Prior I asked, if it’s a permanent dye I’d want to leave the top out for a cool look. I simply twist it in a clip before. That keeps the regrowth from looking so terrible and leaves a cool streaky look, .in my opinion. It’s my head, right? So without asking after she put two applications of semi permanent She said this isn’t working I need to do permanent. My request not considered as she speedily applied the permanent color. Color was not bad not really not great either but it was stressful and my request again not considered. Now we are all done.,shevwas still angry. Trying to be nice I said the actual color wasn’t that bad. She tried to sell me some product. I was directed to the place where I’d pay my handsome invoice. The nice man said he liked it. OK, I t’s just not what I wanted. I paid and tipped because I was sorry to upset the lady doing my hair. She made it obvious she was still mad. My thoughts were It will grow and I will see if I can fix it, make it doable while I wait for it to grow back so I can try again somewhere else. While I was paying the big bill, my mad stylist said I’ll write your color down but I will not be doing your hair again. Thank you, I said. I’m so happy about that. After writing this 2 stars seems generous. It’s inky hair, right?
