They take pride in their braiding. Frida and her staff make your braids look like the picture. They take their time with parting and is so gentle with the braiding. They have different colors of hair to choose from. You can also have them take out your braids, it feels like I can give my arms a rest. I’ve done cornrows and knotless braids there so far. I’m so happy I found this salon! Everyone is so nice and the prices are very fair.

I scheduled to get my hair braided- Senegalese and sent a picture of the style. Nonetheless they made the twists bigger than what I requested, more so, over priced. Very disappointed. Let the owner know and she didn’t have the courtesy to try to rectify the situation. Not coming back.

I decided to get my daughter’s hair professionally braided for the first time, and I found this place on google. Very easy to schedule an appointment and within a short time frame. Although I’m happy with the style (my daughter absolutely loves it), I am knocking off a star because the braided did not start my daughter’s hair until almost an hour after the scheduled appointment due to her being late. I expect my time to be respected if I’m paying for a service. Overall, did the braider do a good job? Yes. Will I be back? Still up for debate.

I was able to get a last minute appointment in the same day. I received excellent treatment from the wash to the careful and gentle blow-drying. My hair was then parted precisely and braided Frida was so light handed my braids never hurt and she oiled my scalp twice. Definitely recommend and I'm definitely going back ❤️

I'm not a person to write reviews unless im mistreated and provided top horrible services..The respect and professionalism Frida provided to me was horrible.I scheduled a appointment with Frida days in advance prior to my appointment.The appointment was confirmed via text,and she acknowledged that I was booked to have my hair done the exact same way she had done it before. I'm the type of client that will come back for years as long as I'm satisfied with my hair by a preferred,particular, stylist and I'm picky about who I allow to touch/style my hair.After the confirmed appointment,and communication all the way up until several minutes before arriving, she was texting me saying,"Will see you soon",etc.I arrived and Frida was not at the shop and she didnt even have the decency to text or call me.I swear ,on the bible,on God,she never showed up,never called,or text,just went ghost to leave me to the hands of another stylish that i had no idea about..Instead,I guess she assumed that I would be willing to have my hair done by someone else, random, in the shop..Respectfully, I understand she isn't the only one at that shop who does hair.However,when someone gets their hair done by a certain stylish, tips her,and then reaches back out again expressing id like the same exact style she did the previous time, while booking a appointment solely with her,I don't expect to arrive and she not show up..I don't understand why this is a common practice in the hair industry..Why not show some respect, professionalism, and at the least tell the client ,"Hey,I know you scheduled a appointment with me in particular today,unfortunately I won't be there to do your hair.However,are you willing to have that style done by a different stylish or reschedule with me "? It's just that simple,RESPECT,apparently is something she decides to have for certain clients she favors because im sure ,by the clients reviews, she doesnt treat all clients the same.Why do certain hair stylish do this? I bet any kind of money that if I was someone she was interested in or a famous person she wouldn't dare to treat the client that way.I guess because I was who I was ,not a regular client,but a newer client,she felt like my scheduled appointment was not to be taken seriously..Frida,word of mouth goes a long way,and you treated me with such lack of respect.I have nothing positive unfortunately to say about your service to others.I refuse to come back,and if you think I will be the only one not seeking your service in the future behind this horrible treatment,when others see this review, they will think twice about going to the shop as well..So was it worth it? Respectfully

This hairstylist woman is amazing. She looks at your hair and know exactly what to do and how to do it. She is very talented. Overall I am so impressed at how much she knows about hair. I will totally recommend her to anyone and my friends. She is my favorite hairstylist now. I have gone to her twice already now, I have gotten so many compliments with my hairstylist. She is a wonderful person and a great hairstylist. I have been getting my hair with her for about two years and going on for three. I have never regretted any styles she has done with my hair. I will recommend her to anyone. Love her. 😘

I was going to a Heilung concert (Scandinavian folk band with metal influence.) I wanted to dress up like a Viking and my hair was a big part of my costume. She did a PERFECT job. She was very gentle, it was like getting a head massage. It was wonderful getting to know her. Her kids are adorable. Will definitely go back!
