I had a very nice experience with Sonya Lobrigo during my lash lift and tint class! She explained in a way that I could easily understand! She paid attention to my needs and struggles and she helps me a lot to improve my skills! I will definitely come back for another class!

Loved loved loved the educators and the depth they go into explaining techniques, styles, marketing etc. I do wish we went over “banana splitting” a bit more but other than that I learned so much in a short amount of time and the environment is really encouraging.

I absolutely loved the lash class experience! Sonya and Kayla were amazing instructors knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely passionate about their work. Throughout the four days, they demonstrated incredible patience and were always ready to lend a hand, no matter the question. It was clear that they truly enjoy what they do, and that positive energy made the learning environment even better. I also really appreciated how they emphasized that even though the class has ended, we can still reach out to them for any questions or support moving forward. It gives me great confidence knowing their guidance doesn’t stop here. Thank you again, Sonya and Kayla, for your dedication and support. I hope you both receive the recognition you deserve!

Enjoyed my class at the Raw so much!! The teachers were very educational and answered all my questions! It was a fun atmosphere I couldn’t wait for the next day to learn more!! I would definitely recommend the Raw if your wanting to get your license or just learn more with hands on experience.

I took the 4 day lash license course and it was amazing! The instructors are very knowledgeable and have been there to help me since graduation. The course teaches everything you need to know to start right away with your lash business! Working on models during the course with the help of the instructors really helped me feel comfortable and ready to lash people outside of the course! I would recommend this course to anyone!

Please do yourself a huge favor and go somewhere else for your lash training. This place is definitely not worth the $1750 The class was too large for their tiny space and the instructors couldn’t care less they would much rather socialize among themselves than teach and be hands on. You’ll have better luck taking an online course than attending this class. The instructors also printed the wrong date on my certificate as well as my entire class so 19 total, that just goes to show their attention to detail. I’ve reached out several times to get a new certificate and when I asked to pick one up they simply stopped responding.

This is truly the best class money can buy! I feel so prepared to take on this new lashing journey. Kayla, Isabel, and Sonya really take their time to make sure that i understood everything they are teaching and they really know their stuff.

Brea and Kayla are the best educators! I took two lash certification classes with them and they do not disappoint!! They went into details about a lot of vital lash tech information, and also shared their experiences which I found helpful when working with clients. Highly recommend taking their lash classes, because they go over different techniques that will help you enhance your lash game and give your future clients a good experience. Also, they cover the business side as well if you want to do lashes as a career/side business. Aside from being educators, they are amazing peeps because they will tell you what you can expect when going in the lash biz and a good tip: Ask questions!!! They know what they’re doing foreal 10/10 experience in their classes!

Edit: Olivia does not work here anymore. They only encourage people to write good reviews to get a discount on their next set. This company has high turn over. I tried other lash techs and I wasn’t happy with the service at all. Most of the lash artists are new and in training. I booked an appt with the owner, Courtney and when I arrived she had a brand new lash artists to do my lashes with no communication of this. I will never go back to this company. Old: Olivia does THE BEST at lashing, I have never been to a lash artist with retention as good as hers! She also has an amazing personality and gives great customer service.

I had the best experience at Raw Beauty Lounge Lash Academy! During the course I truly feel like I learned so much to prepare me to make lashing my career and be able to thrive in the business! All of the instructors were amazing at what they do and so helpful! They took the time to really make sure you understood exactly what they were teaching! Courtney did a GREAT job like 50/10!!!! I’ve been going to the same lash artist for three years and recently moved and had to make a change. Most lash artist don’t like doing sets with short lashes, but she was open to everything I wanted and really made it a wonderful experience!!

I found Tamed by Taboo with Tabitha Tamras on Groupon. I called and spoke with her about scheduling an appointment for a full hair weave. Tabitha insisted and advised not purchase the Groupon through the website. She insisted that I pay her directly and to screenshot the particular ad on the Groupon website. She stated that she would honor the same price. Please, do not make the same mistake that I made by booking with Tabitha. As she does VERY, VERY lazy and sloppy work. Tabitha didn’t do anything that I requested her to do with my hair. My hair came out a very blotchy and a brassy yellow almost orange looking color with bleeding weave lines everywhere through out my hair and head!. I have been having my hair colored professionally for the last 25 yrs and was in need of a new hairstylist. Tabitha did no highlights in the back of my hair at all. She did not do any low lights as advertised either. It was a shotty partial weave at best, Then charged me a full weave session without my knowing. Also, the dye that she used had strong odor, It smelled exactly like box color dye and something Tabitha adamantly denies when questioned. When I asked her what color products that she uses. She stated L’Oréal professional and I have a very hard time believing ANYTHING she says…! I suspect she uses inferior brands of hair dye because it’s cheaper and she believes patrons won’t notice the difference. I requested my money be returned from Tabitha immediately. She and I had several conversations back and forth. Where she apologized and offered to fix it almost 72 hrs after the initial appointment with her. She then denied my request for a refund and blocked me… LOL what kind of successful hairstylist does this??? Just because you block someone that won’t make them go away completely. Lol I am in serious question about how she obtained a cosmology license in the first place. I spoke and met with the owner and she assures me that Tabitha has a license. I have reached out to Groupon, the barber and cosmetology board to file complaints for her misrepresentation of services. Tamed by Tabitha is a suite inside the Raw Beauty Lounge in Scottsdale. If you look at the reviews online for Raw Beauty Lounge. You can read about their bad business practices as well . If I had known Tabitha was associated with this particular business prior to my appointment. I would have NEVER booked the appointment. I am hoping by leaving my review here. It will help someone else with making a better decision by not doing business with her because It really is taboo over there! 😬 Groupon was very apologetic for the bad experience and understands that she is not only defrauding paying customers… but also defrauding Groupon as a company. I had to pay several hundred dollars to have my hair color corrected from Tabitha’s so called “work”. It will take at least a couple more sessions to restore my hair to the way that it was before, and if even possible. I am considering moving forward with civil litigation in this matter. Also, for pain and suffering and what it is going to cost to have the issue resolved. Most importantly I want to make sure that nobody goes through what I experienced on this day… I showed pictures of my hair to the owner of the Raw Beauty Lounge and she too was horrified. It was NOT the lighting in Tabitha’s suite as she deceptively suggested. The owner states that Tabitha does not work for her. That she only rents the suite space from her. If you look at the reviews online for Raw Beauty Lounge. Especially with purchasing inferior hair extensions from China. Then not providing a receipt to a paying customer and then misrepresenting where they were purchased. These people DO NOT have good or ethical business practices. I have made a report with better business bureau. Also, I have requested a full investigation to be done by the AZ board of cosmetology as well. Tabitha requires more education in my opinion. Especially if she wants to have a successful career with working with people and their hair. Thank you!

I got my lashes done at RBL and had overall a great experience. Clean and professional environment not to mention my lashes looked great and felt amazing! The quality of care and materials are unmatched. Highly recommend!!

The best lashes in town. I know Scottsdale has many lash salons and I have been to a handful. Nothing compares to Raw Beauty! Their product is the best!
