Got an amazing cut and color done by Kendal! I didn’t really have any reference photos or much of an idea what I wanted to do with my hair, and she sent me home with a beautiful cut that feels a lot easier to maintain than the mess I showed up with. Generally salons can be a bit intimidating and uncomfortable, but getting your hair done by Kendal is more like hanging out with a friend. Highly recommend checking out this salon and booking with her <3

I don’t even like leaving reviews but I had to for this haircut. Kendal effortlessly cut a pixie cut for me with my baby asleep in my arms. And I look amazing. I’ve had tons of pixies cut through the years and this one makes me so happy.

I love this hair salon. I’ve been coming here for 3 years now, and every time I get a wonderful hair cut and styling and walk out feeling great. The stylists are incredibly good at what they do, and are very kind and welcoming and attentive to my desires for the style. They know how to work with a wide variety of hair textures, which I love because mine is a bit unique. I live in a different neighborhood now but drive back for the best haircut in town!

Just moved to the area and needed to find a new hair stylist. Trusting a new stylist is a little scary and I was a bit nervous but I was quickly made to feel comfortable and that my hair was in good hands. The salon itself is such a nice place with very friendly staff. Got my hair cut by Sage and they nailed it. I showed them what I wanted and got exactly that. My hair cut looks great and I’ve received so many compliments on it. The pricing differed by stylist but it is pretty fair across the board! Go get your cut!!!

Laken is great. I’m not a very talkative client and she read my cues well while still gently engaging me in conversation every so often so it was never awkward. She’s good at pulling out what you really want from your haircut with minimal information (i.e someone who hasn’t had their hair professionally done in quite some time and doesn’t know what to ask for, like me). I’ll be back.

It's been a while since I've gotten a hair cut. Comparable prices for the area. Fantastic service. I have very thick textured hair, I love my cut. Dolly did a wonderful job. Highly recommend.

Annalise was so nice and definitely made me feel taken care of and helped me get exactly what I wanted, and it turned out so pretty. Definitely my new favorite place and I'll be coming back! There is also a public parking lot across the street which is convenient.

Red Chair creates a comfortable, welcoming space for everyone. Kendal gives a terrific haircut (for a nice price, too, relative to Seattle). My hair is curly and I've endured a lot of garbage cuts -- if this sounds like you, try Red Chair, where Kendal understands curls!

I showed up with an extravagant vision for what I wanted with my hair, and Dolly handled it with ease, expertise, and efficiency. The staff here is friendly and the vibes are immaculate. I’m from out of town, but I would absolutely make the trip again just to have my hair done here.

Dolly gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. I explained what I’ve said to may stylists in the past — I don’t care about the details, just make my hair more lively, less flat and weighing me down. She really delivered. I have a bit of a wave to my hair as well, and natural blonde hair that I used to dye but am now leaving as is. The haircut actually enhanced my natural hair color, and brought out my waves a lot. Will definitely be returning, very happy 3 weeks later.

I travel A LOT. So whenever I get stranded away from my regular hair salon I cringe at the thought of letting anyone even try to color my difficult to color, rude and unruly hair. Allyson is one of the most talented artists I have encountered in my 30 years of traveling . I have had some less than desirable outcomes when trying to have multileveled, low, high, light colors all at once. Allyson took genuine interest in my request for all I wanted for my hair. Great collaboration and wonderful suggestions gave me the best color I have ever had. She recognized how difficult red hair/turning white, can even be when trying to color, lift, highlight and condition well. I have been complimented more in the past 3 months about my gorgeous hair than I have been in many years. She is worth it! Go and see her. Love your hair again.

Easily accessible location in Cap Hill. All the staff was very nice including the lil puppy that was hanging out. Chase gave me exactly the cut I wanted. Comfortable interior with a place to chill while you wait. They do require masks, which is totally understandable.

I don’t really style my hair- Dolly gave me the low maintenance haircut of my dreams and walked me through how she was styling my hair and got loads of compliments throughout the day. Now, 8 months later I come back for a trim and same great treatment (even down to remembering how I wanted my bangs… which I didn’t remember myself 😅)!

I recently got my hair cut by Kendal at Red Chair Salon and received one of the best cuts I’ve had in a long time. As a man with medium-ish length wavy hair it can be hard to find a stylist who knows how to layer and texture it properly so I’m always nervous going somewhere new but I will definitely be returning next time I need a trim. Very friendly vibes and the products they stock are great without too much of an up charge.

I’ve been seeing Laken at Red Chair salon for over a year now. Her fashion color is exceptional. She listens to what I want (skipping bleach sometimes, extra care with sensitive skin) and has fantastic vision for the look. It always fades beautifully, too. Staff is always friendly and I appreciate the appointment reminders - useful without being annoying. 🙂

My first time with Red Chair Salon is a hit! I'm very pleased with the results! Allyson is a professional who cares about providing clients with a supportive and attentive environment. She is a color expert and was able to meet my vision 100%. Transitioning from red to a darker brown color can be tricky, but in one visit, I walked out of the salon a new and very happy woman. I will be a repeat client. I highly recommend Red Chair for your professional hair care needs.

I recently moved to Seattle from a smaller town which I’ve had the same stylist for a few years. My hair is thick and wavy and I need to get it cut every few months per usual so I was very hesitant to start looking around! I first got my hair cut back in Feb for my birthday and was very pleased! I believe I had Kendall the first time and I just came back a second time I was that happy! I got Annalise this time and I’m just as happy if not more than the first time. Very attentive, friendly, listened to my wants and delivered exactly. It’s hard when you tell a stylist you want an inch cut off and they do more, and you’re upset. Here; they actually listen to you! Kendal makes me feel so comfortable and at ease while she does my hair, I always look forward to my visits! I got my hair cut after months of putting it off and loved the result. I wanted to get balayage done before a wedding in July and she even fit me in for that! Everyone at the red chair is so friendly and professional, I’m thankful to have them around!
