Lovely spa nestled in the Renaissance Hotel. Had a massage followed by a facial. The masseuse did a great job and even spotted some old sports injuries, and showed ways of how I could finally overcome them. The facial was a delight and I came out feeling and looking a refreshed person. The next time I visit Reno The refuge is on my to do list!! Highly recommend

I visited this spa months back when I was on a trip to Reno- reason for such a late review is because I am back on another trip to Reno and looking for spas again and this one came up. I think this place deserves the recognition! I had a great experience. The place is nice, ambiance relaxing.

I had a wonderful experience here! I had a prenatal massage and pedicure. Both gals were fantastic and I can’t wait to come back! Lindsay the massage therapist was able to work out the swelling in my feet which was AMAZING!

Shout out to the entire team. My second time in, both services were facials. Professional team all around and a beautiful spot. Mary Jane and Amanda were both excellent.

Great place for a locals get away or party. Wonderful service from manicurists and masseuse. The drinks were pretty darn yummy too! Love the pool deck too. We were there in May and the weather was perfect. Highly recommend!

Amazing spa experience paired with a beautiful day at the pool! I love this spa and look forward to returning. A couple points of feedback that would make this place even better- the massage rooms are too quiet and you cannot hear the music, it’s awkward and lends to talking during the massage versus meditation. Also, some paint needed in parts of the locker room :)

Had wonderful experience here, as always. Great amenities available, and Brad gave a very relaxing massage. I felt so much better afterwards. Whole area very clean and welcoming. Staff pleasant and helpful. My favorite place in town for a massage.

I enjoyed a company spa party and their entire team was amazing! Mary Jane was my esthetician for my facial and she was so sweet, and knowledgeable. My entire treatment left me feeling refreshed and renewed. I love Refuge and highly recommend everyone to take a day to unwind here if you get the opportunity!

I had the best facial of my life at the spa in the Renaissance in Reno! Mary Jane was my technician. It was the most relaxing, wonderful experience, and I have never had such incredible results from a single facial ever. I know if i could go there every week, my skin would continue to improve. Wow.

Love the spa. I had a great massage. Few hiccups checking in. Our sparkling wine was removed from the pool area when we were inside. $80 bottle. Offered me a couple of glasses for the loss. No food menu available to check prices. I will go back

My fiancé and I received the couples massage and it was much needed! Brad and Shamus were keen to pay attention to our problem areas and spent a lot of time loosening the knots. It was a great massage. Highly recommend either of these specialists. The amenities are fine enough but cannot compare to other spas in Reno. We used the outdoor pool and hot tub and it was sufficient enough for the time we had before the massage. I’d say come for the massage but not the amenities.

Massage therapist was great! She was the redeeming thing. The staff was good in general. I bought a Groupon, not sure what the discount was, looking at the prices possibley 10 dollars? I didn't get a full 50 min. I think this is a facility policy (that they have to take you back and get you back out within 50 min as oppose to a 50 min massage) as this has happened both times i have been there with different therapists and When i go to the sister spa in south reno. Also the pool and jacuzzi were closed per usual. The amenities are just sub par for the price compared to other spas in the area.

Seamus M. Was worth every cent and the spa itself is absalutly beautiful and will Def be going back as soon as I can. I went in with a lot of discomfort and my massage was exactly what I needed. 100% recommended this hotel in general, but the spa is worth the time !

Amanda, K, & Ginger were amazing! From the moment I stepped foot into their presence, I was treated like royalty. Amanda gave me a wonderful facial, and her energy matched each moment throughout my experience. K, was super helpful durning the tour & very knowledgeable about each treatment they have to offer. Just got a facial from Amanda at the Refuge Spa. Instead of giving me the full 50 minutes, she gave me 40, cutting my time short by 20%. On a $135 facial, that's shortchanging me $27. I will not be going back. What a rip-off.

Love this spa. Amanda is an awesome aesthetician & the HydraFacial she does makes your skin look beautiful. Mia is an amazing massage therapist. Ginger, the Spa Manager, is always on site making sure everything is perfect. 🙏

Mandy does an amazing job at The Refuge Spa! My feet feel amazing and my toes and fingernails look beautiful! She has great attention to detail. The spa is very pleasant and relaxing. You should go!

The Refuge lives up to their name. The basic ambiance is calming and refined. Staff and aestheticians are kind, helpful and skilled. Amenities are plentiful and quality from the body polishing room to the many dispensers of waters and snacks. This is a Spa I will happily visit again.

A perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Upon arrival I was welcomed by Sophia and given a tour of the facility, everything is gorgeous and serene. I received a 50 minute massage from Adrianna and it was absolutely incredible! The additional amenities such as the sauna, jacuzzi and salt room were the icing on the cake. Overall, all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions I had. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy myself again.

Britney was my massage therapist and she gets five stars! I even fell asleep because I was so relaxed. I appreciated her communicating with me throughout the massage to make sure the temperature was good, the pressure was to my liking, etc. I highly recommend her, and go for the 105 minutes. I did 80 and it flew by so quickly. The spa itself is lovely. Kay greeted us and gave us the tour. She was very informative and friendly. The outdoor jacuzzi was wonderful, and they have a sauna, VIP lounge, and several other spots for relaxing. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5: The walls are very thin. You can easily hear people talking, laughing, dishes... It was very distracting during the massage and I was surprised by how loud it was. My other complaint is that we had to pay $19 for parking. It was just surprising they don't comp parking for people attending the spa, and feels a bit like I'm being nickel and dimed. Overall, the experience was amazing. I would definitely return, but I'd find somewhere else to park and I'd bring my ear buds.

Carla, Mandy, Nika and a lovely person with the name starting with K are fantastic. The tour, the pedis, the drinks were amazing. They added that special touch that made my adult children and myself feel special.The spa is 100% luxury. We left feeling absolutely refreshed and happy ! We will return.Thank you!

Had gift card which they wouldn’t let me use for the tip so have a minimal balance left that is useless. They also shame you into leaving a 20% tip whether deserved or not. Go elsewhere

This is a great spa! My wife went in for a pedicure party for 2 over the weekend and it was a great time. Carla and Mandy were awesome to chat with and did a great job on our feet. The whole place is phenomenal and wish we had more time for other services.
