Honestly fantastic service! The building itself is so cute but I just gotta say the artists are even cuter! Candy did a poly gel set on me and it turned out even better than the inspiration pics I brought to my appointment! 🫶 I cannot recommend her enough! Genuinely so happy with my nails and I cannot wait to come back for my fills! 🫶

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Stefani after a different salon left me with a haircut that was WAY shorter than I expected. I was feeling pretty down about it, but Stefani turned it around in the best way possible! She took the time to walk me through all of my options, answering every question I had with patience and expertise. We decided on keratin bond extensions, and I’m SO glad we did! Not only did Stefani color-match the extensions perfectly to my natural shade, but she also cut and blended them seamlessly into my existing haircut. The transformation was incredible—my hair looks fuller, healthier, and natural. I can't recommend Stefani enough for anyone looking for extensions, color, or a fresh cut. Her skill, professionalism, and attention to detail truly saved my hair and restored my confidence. I’m so happy I trusted her with my hair—she’s a true artist! Came into the salon based on a recommendation from a friend for a consultation and a men’s long hair cut and style. I was seen by Stef. She did such an amazing job and her apprentice Kiko took care of my beard trim. Extremely happy with both. This is now my go-to spot! Was treated with so much kindness and professionalism. I had the most wonderful experience with Stef @the residence.. I walked in her shop and asked a question and left.. I had been researching getting extensions and thought; I will just go back and discuss it with her.. so I called back.. made an appointment and I got everything I wanted and more.. she worked with me and completely transformed my hair with reasonable prices and extreme effort.. Thanks you guys for the amazing experience!! I highly recommend them!

I have been coming to The Residence for about a year now when I need a good touch up and Desiree always does an amazing job! Haircuts can sometimes be stressful (we've all had some bad ones in our lives) and Desiree always listens and delivers. She's friendly, very chill, and knows what she's doing. I also love that appointments are readily available within a week or so and that they are spaced out so it's never too crazy in there.

Really enjoyed my haircut. Usually, I'm having trouble sitting still for a haircut and leave feeling weird about what just happened, but not here. Karina is amazing for foil highlights and toning! I have easily tangled, fine hair that I'm always trying to get to look as healthy and long as possible. I love the sparkle that highlights give me but stress about the damage. Karina gives me that full on glow while also maintaining the health of my hair and giving me my optimal low maintenance look. Today she gave me a perfect cool, bright blond and root smudge that's both full glam and natural looking. I'm delighted!! Yes, it’s *just hair*, but it’s a huge element in how I look and feel. Looking our best helps us feel and do our best. Karina is a masterful artist who helps people look and feel like their best selves. So glad I tracked her down after she left Toni & Guy.

Not only is this salon a unique gem in the heart of 4th Ave, the staff create a warm welcoming atmosphere to everyone who walks through the doors. All of the stylists are so inventive and creative, it is truly a treat to have them here in Tucson. Jules, made me feel so beautiful after my haircut, I couldn't have been happier with the way my new style came out. I am so grateful to have found a salon with so much talent, I will be sure to book my next appointment with them again.

Stefanie gave me the best haircut of my life! It was the first time someone was able to bring out my personality in my hair. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience… the salon is beautiful & Stefanie is so nice and made me feel super comfy! The haircut included a super relaxing scalp massage with incredible smelling hair oil, a shampoo and condition (also amazing smelling), the haircut and also super fancy styling! Julia is THE BOMB! She listens to me as far as do I want a wash-and-go cut or something that requires styling and products. I am lazy with my hair but she cuts it so my hair looks like I spent time styling 😉. I highly recommend Julia!!

I absolutely love coming here! I was referred to Michelle by another stylist who was retiring and I can see why! She is so sweet, makes you feel so comfortable, and so talented. I love that she takes the time to explain what she’s going to do and why. She always has great advice and always does what’s best for my hair and doesn’t push it to its limit. I’ve had such a wonderful experience with her and keep coming back. I love the vibe and aesthetic of the space. It’s so fun and welcoming. I first visited The Residence Art and Beauty Co. for an event and already loved the space but am even more of a fan now that I've had the full experience during my haircut with Michelle. She is an expert in her craft and made sure she understood how I style my hair, where I part it, what my needs were, etc. I went in so sick of my hair and came out looking like a total babe. 10/10, would recommend!

I followed Michelle for years, ever since she left a mall location and pursued her dream of opening her own salon. I am 71, and continue to be delighted with the way she keeps me (and my naturally curly hair) from looking like my Aunt Doris with a bad perm. I give her free rein with the styling because SHE sees what I look like and trust her to know best what will suit my face! Never disappointed! A visit with her is a zen- like experience and we always manage to wind up with laughter. Love the new location! I will be moving across the country soon, and will be devastated to leave this bit of my life.
