I had a massage with Brittney the other day and I can’t stress enough how amazing it was! She made she I was comfortable and he whole time and made the whole experience very relaxing! I will definitely be returning and would recommend Brittney and anyone else in the spa! The atmosphere was relaxing as well just so enjoyable from the front desk all the way to check out very kind staff 🥰. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

I have edited my rating and review, due to The Retreat's efforts to correct their mistake. It is apparent now that the service I received is not what I booked. I booked the "relaxing" massage with add-ons for scalp, and somehow they booked us for their "peace of mind" which is an entirely different service, and that led to a very disappointing and frustrating experience for me and my husband...and it was our Valentine's Day date. It took MUCH time and a negative review from me for them to finally, months later, make an effort to get to the bottom and correct the issue. I appreciate that they finally did reach out and try to figure out what happened and then make it up to us, however, their knee jerk false public response and failure to take responsibility to my original review will forever be off-putting to me, as their efforts weren't timely, and it's the kind of business where it would just be too awkard for us to go back for any future service, to say the least. Maybe in time.....I do believe they have learned from this, so it likely will not happen to any future clients. It's a shame this happened too, because the atmosphere here is astoundingly relaxing and beautiful, and their "tea room" post-treatment room is such a wonderful and charming touch. Just a note: If you want pressure in your massage, just make sure they don't book you for the "peace of mind" massage! It felt like tickling to me, and I really didn't like it at all. So if you call to book your session, just make sure that the service you requested is actually the service they booked for you for. Stephanie was just terrific. This was my first visit. It was just amazing. I had the Dew body massage. I recommend it to anyone, especially if you sit at work all day. So friendly and did a great job. I will be back definitely 👍 🩷

I had a really lovely massage with Joshua. The 90 minute deep tissue massage had lots of variety, including cupping, and elements of Thai. it was a unique experience. Joshua was very attentive to my needs and really ensured I had a nice massage.

The prices for services here are ABSURD! After your massage, you will feel as if you didn't get a massage. The policies here are ridiculous. Do NOT schedule a follow up or you will be charged ($55) if you aren't able to make the appointment. They don't tell you that when you schedule. Trust me, the massage isn't worth $150-$200 after tip. This is the worst experience I've had with a business. Don't go here, there are many other better options.

What a wonderful relaxing place. I have a favorite but don't want to share he already stays booked up! Everyone is so nice, and well kept secret on this side of town. I Will only go here it is the best! Already booked my own birthday present to me!!!

This was my second time getting a Deep Tissue Massage and second time coming to this place. First deep tissue was with Stephenie and today was with Allyson. WOW!!!! What an amazing experience both times. My neck has been tight plus stress tightness throughout the back. I have come out after the deep tissue feeling so wonderful, a lot more loose, and just feel like a new person. Thank you so much for the great work you do. I highly recommend this place to everyone!!

I had a hot stone massage with Allyson and I’ve had a lot of massages due to a lot of back pain and leg pain. She took her time and made sure she did everything she could to relieve my pain, by far the best massage I’ve ever had and will be returning regularly

I absolutely love this place! I found it by chance looking for a birthday gift for a friend of mine and now I have started coming. I've had massages by Katie and Allyson and they both were absolutely wonderful! Both of these ladies know a lot about the body, they are informative seem to love what they do. I am quite happy with The Retreat at Fountain City!

Allison the owner is super amazing and did the best massage I've ever had in my life and I'm in my 50s the whole experience was lovely super amazing I would refer anyone to have this experience with her it's a beautiful comforting place and after my massage she did not rush me out as a matter of fact she led me into another room peaceful and quiet best couches in a fireplace and put a heating pad around my neck as I relaxed offered me cucumber water teas or coffees and told me I could relax as long as I wished they close at 9:00 p.m. super kind friendly and down to earth almost feel like I made a new friend! The best experience I've ever had by far

I recommend The Retreat for the best facial. Allyson made my face feel amazing with the best massage. My face was glowing and the products are exceptional. Not to mention you can purchase products used to keep your skin healthy and feeling great! Go ahead and book your appointment at The Retreat where you will get the treatment You deserve!

I went today for the first time and had an awesome experience all around! The facilities were extremely clean and staff very welcoming. Allyson did a fantastic job and was very personable. The receptionist, I apologize I cannot remember her name, she was as sweet as Grandma's Best Homemade Pumpkin pie, Allyson was my massage therapist, I had just graduated, as one would expect my nerves were still rattled from the stress & Allyson's personal demeanor and mannerisms made me feel like I was with oldfriends, that's where my relaxation just begin, walking through this beautifully dim lit massage studio relaxed my senses & definitely set the mood, from the heated bed , the clean bedding, the smells, I received a back, shoulder, neck, arm & head massage & foot treatment all of which were done perfectly I woke up this morning feeling rest, Thank you sooooo Much. Happy Halloween 🎃

This is a beautiful facility and the staff was so kind. Hayley is exceptional and always takes the best care of me. She is magic in how she knows exactly what is hurting and I leave feeling so much better. The little room after your massage is so cool too. What a nice, thoughtful touch!! We had a terrible experience. Staff was rude and made us wait 2 hours past our appointment for our massage. They offered to reschedule but for a 25% fee when it was their mistake in the first place! Awful experience

What a wonderful experience. The wife and I went for a 2hr cpl experience. Massage, hit stones, aromatherapy, and cupping. The surprise afterward was the post relaxation room. What a treat!
