From parking to final payment, the entire experience at The Rittenhouse was incredibly. I booked two spa appointments for the CBD Rest and Restore for my friend and I to celebrate her 30th birthday. The front guest associate was super friendly and pleasant. Adriana was exceptional. Anytime we needed anything at all (such as locking myself out from my own locker, directions, or ordering food delivered to the poolside), she was so accommodating, friendly and professional. My spa specialist was thorough and i felt totally renewed. I have sensitive skin and I usually breakout from fragrances and soaps, but their products were so clean and soothing. My body did not breakout, my skin was left super soft, and I was fully relaxed. I recommend The Rittenhouse Spa for anyone interested in the best spa treatment.

I booked services for three for my daughter’s birthday. The massages were divine- feeling relaxed three days later. Thanks Joe! My daughter raved about her facial. The facilities were beautiful, spotless and very relaxing. The staff was incredible; friendly and accommodating. Sending a special thank you to Tiffany, the manager. She went above and beyond to make sure the day was absolutely perfect! Thank you so much!! We’ll be back soon!

As a residence owner, I recently visited The Spa & Club over Memorial Day weekend. While the spa facilities were well-maintained, the service fell significantly short of expectations. We exclusively utilized the pool and sauna for about an hour. Upon checking out, the receptionists erroneously assumed we had received additional services and demanded payment. The younger receptionist (fair skinned, brunette hair) displayed a pleasant demeanor; however, the senior receptionist (tall, dark-skinned, black hair) exhibited an unprofessional and condescending attitude, almost belittling us for using the spa&club guest passes. Such negativity is unwarranted, especially when we were merely utilizing the amenities we are entitled to. This disappointing encounter with the front desk staff raises concerns about the quality of service I might receive should I opt for any salon treatments. For those seeking exemplary service, I recommend the Four Seasons instead. It’s disheartening to see such a discrepancy in service standards, especially when The Residence boasts highly trained staff. Why can’t the Hotel meet the same standards?

I have been going to Lana for hydrofacials for a few years now and I can’t tell you how grateful I am to her. Lana is not only an excellent and highly skilled esthetician (she really goes above and beyond!), but she is so kind and caring that you can’t help but feel extremely cared for the entire time. I can’t recommend Lana more!

I have been coming here for years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Porter is an incredible massage therapist and I can’t wait to book with her again. The rooms are clean and ambiance is incredibly relaxing. The staff is also so friendly and accommodating. My birthday was a little less than a week ago but they celebrated me like it was my birthday. I felt so special. Highly recommend!

So disappointed in the lack of professionalism and communication with the spa. I contacted the spa on Jan 17th to make a booking for my friend and me for the first week of Feb. I requested 2 female massage therapists as this would make us feel more comfortable. I got a call and email the next day stating nothing had been booked due to not having 2 female massage therapists. I was told they would contact one of their massage therapists to see if she could come in. I called the next day (Friday) and was told they expected to hear from her by the end of the day and would call me. Nobody called me or emailed me since. I checked in again on the Sunday. I got an email on 01/23 stating they were still waiting to hear from her. Nobody bothered to call me thereafter. This is highly unprofessional. How long does it take to get an answer. My friend came from overseas. We had a lovely time at another spa. I really was looking forward to enjoying your facilities but unfortunately your lack of communication after taking my name and details can only leave me wondering if you decide which customers you want. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional service!

Decent spa and club! I left more information here in my general hotel review for rittenhouse, but I had only a decent spa appointment here. A bit rough at times but then too soft at other times. I might consider a facial or shorter massage in the future. I loved the steam room though and they had super comfy robes!

Despite the salon's clean atmosphere and professional staff, my highlights/balayage and blowout style services didn't match the inspiration picture I shared with the stylist. I ended up with orangey highlights after nearly 5 hours. The chemicals used caused a burning sensation on my scalp (and still do after 24 hrs), making the experience less than ideal. Given the $275 cost, the outcome didn't justify the expense and time. Overall, a disappointing salon visit and I will not be returning.

I have enjoyed coming here many times to Danny. He restored the health of my hair with Kerastase and Olaplex treatments that strengthened it a few years ago after it was damaged elsewhere at another salon, I am very grateful to him and for a lot of great product suggestions. Danny gives beautiful, amazing blowouts! His curls really last and hold up, even a day or two later! Danny is very sweet and I feel really cares about the health of your hair. This is a beautiful salon, beautiful spa, the facilities are always very clean, modern with wonderful products, I love that they carry Kerastase and I love the Fusio Dose treatments. I’m glad that Alex is the manager, she is great!

I moved from Boston to Philly in June and have since visited several spas all over the city in an attempt to find my "forever" spa as well as an amazing esthetician to work with consistently. I wasn't sure I'd ever find the right fit due to the never ending trial and error period. That was until Tuesday, when I visited the Rittenhouse Spa for a facial with Dayna. The spa itself is incredibly beautiful, and the concierge/housekeeping/and literally every employee I encountered was so helpful and nice. The relaxation area is by far and away the most relaxing spa waiting room I've ever experienced. I thought I knew relaxation and luxury but these facilities exceeded any and all expectations, setting the bar inside my head much higher. When I met Dayna, before we even entered the treatment room I knew she was the esthetician I've been holding out for. My criteria was someone who is passionate about the medical spa industry, who demonstrates expertise and deep knowledge about medical grade skincare, and lastly someone who is genuinely invested in the relationship they have with their clients. I had the 60-minute HydraFacial with dermaplane and a gold mask add-on. The entire experience was amazing to say the least and Dayna checked off every box 20 minutes into my treatment. I felt so relaxed the entire time, and Dayna was super knowledgeable and walked me through the products she was using and the purpose of each step. I like to chat during my medi spa treatments, especially about products and all skin related topics, but the second we stopped talking I was still pulled into a see relaxation because of the comfortable table/sheets/lighting/and overall ambiance of the treatment room. After the service, Dayna took the time to write out some recommendations she had for me regarding my skincare routine, as well as recommendations for things I asked for like fine dining restaurants and a good place to go for injectables etc. Long story short, Dayna went above and beyond and if you're looking for a legitimate esthetician and a drop dead gorgeous/relaxing spa to visit, book an appointment with her at the Rittenhouse!

My boyfriend and I came here for my birthday this year. It was a wonderful experience and the facilities were very nice. That being said, after a day of feeling very special, the woman who had been helping us out asked me "when I was due". The problem is- I am not pregnant. I had had such a wonderful birthday and was on cloud nine until that happened. I found it extremely off putting and upsetting. My hope is that going forward, they can make it very clear to their staff that unless stated by the patron, it is not okay to ask someone that or make that assumption. Again, we had a lovely day, it was just a bummer that it ended on such a negative note.

My experience at the spa was definitely a strange one. When I checked in the guy noticed I had been there before and asked if I remembered where all of the facilities were. I told him no since it had been a year. He walked me to a door, waved me in and pointed to where the women’s locker room and lounge were. Absolutely no further guidance or instructions whatsoever, and he went back to the desk and closed the door behind me. I had to figure out how to use the lockers on my own since no one was around, and most of the lockers were empty without any new robes. I also never figured out where to find slippers (they weren’t in any lockers either) so I had to wear the shoes I walked in with. Just FYI the spa attracts a very entitled clientele. I had some issues the last time I came, but this time was a whole other level. Two women were fully stretched out on the sofas in the waiting area, which clearly inhibited others to have seating. I mean, it’s a waiting area, not your house! I couldn’t believe they were never told by the staff to respect the space and others trying to use it. My hydra facial was great but I was surprised that the machine itself was only used 20% of the time during my appointment. I have had the same facial done elsewhere and it was used almost exclusively which did justify the high cost. I was planning on staying afterwards to enjoy the pool and maybe get something to eat but with everything that happened I decided to forego it.

My friend and I had a great day here. We both had massages. Joe did my massage and it was amazing, so relaxing and rejuvenating. We also enjoyed the pool and sauna and facilities. Every staff member we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint was the showers were not cleaned after each use. There were used washcloths and leftover hair. Everything else was beautiful and clean.

My review is from my experiences from 2015-2016. I used to go to this place with my friend Jordan all the time during those years. We were spa hopping to try to find a good place to get a massage and we landed here and stayed here. The person who did my deep tissue was a young AA woman who was so good that when I relocated states, I missed her tremendously. The place was very welcoming back then and they always offered use of all of their gym facility, including gym and pool equipment just for using the spa that day. The feeling was so welcoming that I would spend extra on scrubs then a massage and try new things. I finally moved closer back to this area and searched countlessly online to find this place and will be trying to check it out again. What an experience!! I hope if I do not get the same person again that at least I'll have the same experience!! It was worth the day!!

The service was excellent - I had a full body massage, and the masseuse, Jeanine, was wonderful. The facilities are very nice, I like that as a guest of the spa, you are allowed to use the pool and sauna as well. I did have one minor issue, but Tiffany reached out to me to resolve it, and I really appreciated her concern and attentiveness.

This location is wonderful....acess to indoor heated pool....sauna...fitness room...outdoor deck....services include facial, massage therapy,...manicure and pedicure...manager and staff are very attentive and personable....currently planning a 90th birthday pamper day at this location for my mate's mother...

Booked services and when they call - receptionist doesn't state where they are calling from. The salon canceled at 7:20pm the night before my appointment (I booked for my staff to get massages as a gift) claiming the credit card machine was down. Frustrating.

Didn’t have high hopes for this spa because I consistently get the voicemail box every time I call. But I figured I’d give it go, and so glad that I did. We celebrated my moms bday this week there and the aestheticians and masseuses were phenomenal. The front desk was so sweet and on point! We ordered a charcuterie plate, shrimp Cocktail and champagne from the downstairs restaurant and it came promptly and professionally. I would def come back here again!

I hired the Rittenhouse Salon for my wedding hair and makeup and they did an outstanding job! I had Dylan for my 3 different wedding hair looks and Nikki for my 2 different wedding makeup looks. I cannot say how amazing of a job both of them did in giving me exactly what I wanted for both looks. Dylan even came to my bridal suit to secure my veil in the morning in addition to coming back to the salon after his full work day for my third wedding hair look around 8:30PM! A truly exceptional team! Highly recommend!

I made 3 appointments for gel manicures months in advance for my sisters wedding with two appointments at 11:00 AM and one at 12 PM. At 11:05, the first nail tech came in late and at 11:10, we still had not gone back so we asked the front desk if we would be soon. At this point, it was clear the other nail tech was not there for our 2nd appointment and the 1st was still trying to unpack and running very late. We were shocked how unprofessional such a nice spa was that people were showing up late or not showing up at all, and that no one seemed to initially care to help us when I told them we had other appointments to get to. I thought we could trust a nice spa with such a big day, and clearly this place is unreliable.

My frequent visits to this spa should serve as proof of how great it is. It's somewhere I've visited multiple times. The receptionists and therapists are warm and helpful. If you're in need of a peaceful and exquisite spa experience, you owe it to yourself to check them out.

This was the 4th massage my wife and I have had at Rittenhouse. Each time we have had a great experience. The staff is great and the facilities are very clean. We will continue to make this a once or twice a year tradition to enjoy a relaxing massage!
