So I drove 2 hours and 45 minutes for my appointment with Cora Porter. Yes… THE Cora Porter. She was worth the drive… 6 hours commute time for a color and cut- well worth it. She is a MASTER of color, will help you plan your hair goals, and is truly the sweetest person ever. If I could give her a million stars I would. If you genuinely want the BEST hair experience she is the absolute go-to. Just AMAZING 💜

I’ve been getting eyelash extensions with Mel on and off for several years for occasions and she never fails to make me feel beautiful. She is meticulous in the way she applies the lashes, using the best products and always the educating herself on the latest and greatest in the industry. The time spent is always extremely enjoyable and she makes sure I am comfortable throughout the entire service. She truly and genuinely cares about her quality of work and her individual clients.

Ok next time I’m there I’ll get before and after because I go in a DISASTER and Mel always fixes me up!! That girl works her tail off and I just can’t say enough great things about her or the salon. Also a really great retail space!!

Conor is new at The Root Cellar, but he is not new to barbering. He worked for 5 years at my barbershop in Portland, ME and built a huge loyal clientele. A master of his craft, Conor provides sharp crisp short haircuts and shaggy-short cuts always looking to meet the client's request. He is excellent at every style between blurry skin fades and classic Clark Kent men's scissor cuts, and as a licensed barber, also does hot lather straight razor shaves and beard trims. If you're looking for a vacation cut, or a new barber in your hometown, look no further.

Best services in the valley. The hairdressers are all very well trained and know their stuff. I have split dyed hair that requires 2 hours to process, and this is the only place that does it right. My hair is healthy and soft afterward, even after lightening. Aveda products are amazing, but others are also offered and they are also great. I'm a bit biased because the owner is my sister in law, but she obviously is good because who else would put up with a 2 hour double dye job that has to be redone every 6 weeks? Nobody. Andrea is astounding and her business is flourishing. Stop by, check it out.
