Bekah is so incredible I cannot recommend her enough, she will go above and beyond for her clients to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for. She is so knowledgeable and made my hair the best it has ever looked. She colored me before my wedding and made my vision come to life!

Bekah is such an artist! I've done bold colors with her which she rocks so hard and I've also done some nice highlights in the past. Lately I've been doing pink color combos and they have so much dimension and I always get so many compliments. Her haircuts are also so personalized and done with precision

Brittany Jones was amazing! I came to her a week after a bad color experience with another stylist. She listed, was honest and fixed my color and gave me exactly what I wanted. She’s great at blonde color and color correction. I highly recommend!

Brittany did an amazing job on my hair! I've been looking hard for someone who does low-tox color and am so thankful I found her. She really listened to what I wanted and it's obvious she knows what she's doing. My hair is so happy : ) The salon is super cute and has free parking, win win win win!

Love Gen! Went in for balayage and extension installation a couple months ago and just went back in for moving them up. No one takes care of me and my hair like she does. She knows me and my hair, provides advice/suggestions, but never pressures me into anything. I always leave feeling like a "fox," my absolute best.

Tera is hands down one of the most talented stylists I’ve ever had the pleasure of finding. She has tons of experience and BONUS she’s also a Military spouse!!! As a military spouse myself, and moving to a new state every 2-3 years, finding a stylist that I trust with my hair has always been a total nightmare. When Tera was suggested to me, I scoured her portfolio up and down to see her work. I’ve never been so at ease trying someone new. She’s professional, fun, and genuinely a good person. Hit her up and tell her I sent you! You won’t be disappointed! Promise!

Have been seeing Genevieve for many uears, long before this location. I always get compliments on my beautiful bob cut, and I appreciate that she is always honest about any advice or opinions I am seeking, and that she is never aggressive about upselling products or services. I encourage you to give her a try, I am sure you will not be disappointed and you will enjoy a soothing and relaxing experience in her sparkling clean, beautifully decorated salon. I was writing this review in my head before the haircut even started. Hailey paid incredible attention to detail, really listened to what I was asking for, and made it feel like a luxury experience. The washing station is so comfortable, the salon was beautiful and relaxing, and the products felt very high quality. She gave me a beautiful haircut, especially with my bangs. Thanks for a great experience. If anyone is looking for a great haircut in Ocean Beach and wants great service for the price, come to The Rooted Fox.

Lisandra is the absolute BEST! She has been my hairdresser for the past 5+ years. I have and will continue to follow her wherever she is working because I haven’t been satisfied with anyone else who has done my hair. I make the 1.5-2 hour round trip to see her because no one near me is as talented in hair cuts or color. She is so sweet and takes the time to make sure my hair turns out exactly like I want. I have always been so happy with her work and get tons of compliments.
