I love this place. I can only talk about Alyss, my hairdresser, and I think she is the best! I tend to change my mind a lot and she go's there with me every time.

I've been Crystal's client since 2013. She has such a gift for listening to her clients and determining the best way to create the look they're after. I trust Crystal to suggest the best approach to take with my haircut & color, and to show me how best to use products that will keep my hair looking good between visits. (current fave is Mr Smith) Crystal is an exceptional stylist and a wonderful human being!

Fantastic hair stylist, friendly, kind and they listen to your hair needs. Head massage during your shampoo is top notch. Stylist are very professional and will get you the right look that you are looking for.

Friendly staff, great stylist who answers questions and listens. They are somewhat flexible within reason and I can get an appointment without too much wait time. Overall, a great experience!!

So so thankful for The Salon at The Arboretum! My hair stylist, Cindy, is absolutely amazing! Not only is she wonderful when it comes to hair, she is also incredibly patient and understanding with a hair amateur like myself! Thanks so much Cindy for walking me through the pros/cons of different hair treatment options and helping me choose what will work best for me :)

Tanya is so genuine and talented. It’s a joy getting to have my hair done by her. She consistently delivers beautiful results - she can keep things the same or mix things up whenever I’m looking for a change. My color is always on point, and she’s always making helpful recommendations product wise. I frequently get stopped by people who think I’m a natural redhead thanks to Tanya :)

My first visit at the Salon at the Arboretum has been transformative for me. I have been dealing with thinning hair due to hormone imbalance for a while. I could barely leave the house I was so embarrassed by my balding. I thought there wasn't anything I could do about it except wait for new hair to grow in - but I made an appointment here was was proven so, so wrong. Kristin was a miracle worker. With a refreshing hydration treatment and skill in working with hair, my thinning has been completely hidden, I have hair with life that's been breathed back into it (it felt damaged and unhealthy, but not anymore!) And, most of all, I feel pretty again, willing to show my face outside again without needing a hat (nothing against hats though!) Combined with Sophia's excellent work with my brow wax and I am just a whole new person! Big thanks to Kristin, Sophia, and Salon at the Arboretum! Could not have had a better experience! ☺️ (Unfortunately, I was too embarrassed to take a before picture, but attached is the finaI result!)

Kerry Westmoreland has updated my hairstyle and coloring, taking 10 years off my appearance. I feel so pampered at her salon. She really listened to me and I am so glad I trusted her vision. this place is nice and has refreshments but i got the worst haircut i have ever had. if you are a teenage boy, don’t let them butcher you. just don’t even walk in. horrible

I had Veronica for my hair appointment this past week. I wanted to do something different but subtle with my hair and she helped me achieve those dreams! She listened to me and gave me feedback and helped create a beautiful but subtle brown red! Something that I’ve been wanting for a while and she did an amazing job! I could tell she was super proud of her self and that made me even happier with my hair. If you go to The Salon book an appointment with Veronica! She’s also a master stylist!!

I have naturally curly hair but I love to be able to wear it straight and have a haircut that helps that. Stylists tend to ignore me and I end up with a bouffant every time. Maybe I’m meant to wear a bouffant, but I don’t like it. Victoria styled my hair twice now, once yesterday, and she’s amazing. I can show her a picture or describe what I want and she immediately gets it, listens to me, and couldn’t be nicer. The Salon is beautiful and in a great location and their prices are really reasonable for what a nice salon it is. Could not recommend more and they’re lucky to have Victoria.

If I could give this place a higher rating I would, I booked an appointment at this salon a little over a month ago due to an event I had to attend ,as a bigger guy I normally hate going to hair salons due to the fear of being judged by my size or that I’ll break something, the moment I walked in, I felt very welcomed, the nice ladies at the desk were super polite, the informed me that my hair stylist would be with me in just a sec, ( I arrived early to my appointment and they were still able to take me in and they really nice about it ) my hair stylist was Veronica, oh my word I could not stop laughing for the few hours I was there , she was super polite, she was hilarious as well which made the time go by super quick,she would also check up on me every now and then to make sure the products she was putting in my hair weren’t damaging my hair or hurting my scalp, she was very professional. All the other stylists seemed very nice as well! This salon has a very comfortable,Homey feeling . I 100% recommend this place!

Tanya at The Salon at the Arboretum has literally changed my hair and life in the best possible way. I’ve gone through multiple salons/stylists over the years and never has someone understood what I wanted and then delivered in a way that went above and beyond my wildest expectations the way Tanya does. Tanya is my literal hair genie; she is absolute magic. I’ve seen her twice now and both times I literally couldn’t stop smiling with my new haircut and color, and it’s all thanks to her:)

If I could give negative stars, I would. Was charged a $70 no call no show fee after showing up 15 minutes late for my appointment. Only wanted a quick trim and the stylist would not do it. I wasn’t aware my card was on file, and definitely unaware of the policy of charging $70 after 15 minutes. No mention of the policy on the website or in any communications to me. Ridiculous to be charged for a no show when I did show up for my appointment. Will certainly never be returning here. Beware if you’re a current customer that they will not hesitate to charge your card and to new customers I’d advise to choose another salon with kinder employees!
