Incredible Hair & Scalp Experience – Highly Recommend! I had an amazing 1st time experience getting my Rose Metal Mint Hair Bath, atropicak Treatment and a Foot Massage by Rashida! I still think about it even though my experience was last month on Saturday, January 4th. I received many compliments on my simply protective style. My hair felt refreshed, and the scalp massage was pure bliss. My scalp felt deeply cleansed and rejuvenated, and Rashida did a phenomenal job making the experience both relaxing and therapeutic. I also met the owner, Guslene who was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable—her passion for hair care truly stands out. Beyond the treatment, the customer service and attention to detail were unmatched. When you come inside I feel welcomed by the beautiful decor. The fact that the experience included a protective style, made it an exceptional value. I left feeling pampered and refreshed and will definitely be returning—hopefully for my birthday! If you’re looking for a unique, high-quality hair and scalp treatment, this is the place to go. You will not be disappointed. I live in North Jersey, coming was WORTH IT!

Really great experience at this salon. After watching videos on Instagram, I had to check it out. Rashida was my stylist and she is amazing. Very pleasant and accommodating. I did the Rose Petals+ Mint Hair Bath and a scalp exfoliation. Very soothing and relaxing. I'd recommend this place and I will be back!

I received the Rejuvascalp treatment back in January hoping that it would help clear my dermatitis and my scalp has been clear without flaking since. I used the products that Gusléne gave me and that has also helped tremendously. BOOK NOW! It’s so worth it.

Gus is an amazing woman of my talents. I’ve been to her before but this time it was for my braids. She took my hair through a spa like cleansing service that i would have never expected. From beginning to end, I was transported to a spa and felt completely comfortable and safe in the service. My braids feel cleaner than they did when I first walked in and they also look better too. Will definitely be coming back to Gus for the service and many others.

Had a wonderful experience at The Salon Suite. As soon as I came in I was welcomed with a smile and offered water, coffee and mints. I went in to try the the rejuva scalp treatment and have my hair styled. GUSLENE was my stylist and let me just say, if you are looking for professionalism and someone who will guide you through your hair treatment process you have reach the right place. She uses organic products and the soothing smells will take you to a zen garden. The massage and wash was very relaxing. Her positive values listed throughout the salon will make you feel great about yourself as soon as you walk in. GUSLENE is very well versed and gives you alot of useful information. She is also experienced in styling and treating all types of hair. I can honestly say I have never experienced such great service anywhere else. Thank you GUSLENE for all you positivity.

I FOUND SOMEONE TO HELP WITH MY SCALP !! Come with me to get my $300 Silk Press. Today I went to The Salon Suite in Brooklyn, NY and I got to work with one of the best stylist i have everrrrrrr met. I have had an issue with my scalp for quite some time and it was starting to become an insecurity for me. After going to Dermatologist and getting 1million products that werent working I got a little discouraged. I decided to seek someone who had more experience with my scalp because the salons I was going to werent using the right products or CARE! I simply typed into instagram ‘scalp specialist’ and Guslene popped right up! I almost stalked her page because I was just taken aback at the results she was posting. Her technique seemed so focused on my concern and I had to hit her up. I called her in the morning and she really understood how I was feeling and she did not sound worried about helping me at all. In fact, she spoke with me as a professional who does this everyday beyond just being a hair stylist. I walked in and everything was clean and when you walk in you just know youre there for your appointment. She started immediately! I told her what i just KNEWW i was dealing with and when Guslen went through my scalp she was able to target my exact issue which was Psoriasis. Psoriasis is a condition that causes skin cells to build up and causes scales and itchy, dry patches. From there, she went in with a product that would help loosen the build up. It felt so minty and refreshing like my scalp was saying ‘THANK GOD’ lol. She use a skin scrubber to remove the build up and dead skin cells on my scalp. After I received a Pomegranate and Coconut enzyme to help with exfoliating my scalp. Guslen placed me on her massage bed, covered me with a blanket, cove red my eyes and made my hair a Thyme, chamomile , & Eucalyptus Meditataion Bath where she washed and massaged my hair. Once it was all done, i went back in her chair and we reviewed my scalp through a 3D Scanner she uses to do her analysis’s. I was silk pressed and fluffed and I must say I would not have spent $300 on my hair in any other way. She was confident that this treatment would do the trick since my condition was mild and with her before and afters I have no doubts. I feel so confident and loved on. My skin means so much to me and I love helping everyone so to feel like I couldnt help myself was really not cool. I have a home for my hair and we are not moving. The Salon Suite has so many amazing services for your hair. So if you want someone that loves what she does, someone professional AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, someone up to date on trends and never stops learning about her craft in order to continue providing amazing results …@gusleneheadspa

I absolutely recommend this business anyone who needs to de-stress and learn about their scalp & natural hair. I had the pleasure of modeling for a 1-1 class Guslene taught. Guslene was very thorough and has the patience to teach beginners and professionals helpful tricks to properly care for natural hair. The rejuvascalp system is revolutionary and I must admit my scalp has never felt this weightless. My hair was blowdried and braided in 2 cornrows. I would definitely come back to the Salon Suite for another rejuvascalp system treatment. Run don’t walk if you’re dealing with scalp irritation & flakes like I was.

I had a nice experience here as soon as I came in I was greeted & was told Guslene would be right with me. I was a little early but did not have a long wait. Guslene made me feel comfortable & like I was talking to an old friend. She washed, conditioned & then blowed dried my hair followed by the Oxygen therapy W/Stem Cells Treatment then she gave me some elite flat twists, my hair is not very long so I have no idea how she was able to pull off such a miracle but I really appreciate it & my scalp feels so fresh & so clean.

I have been dealing with seborrheic dermatitis for as long as I can remember. I saw many dermatologists and the shampoos/oils they gave never seem to help. I came across Guslene on tiktok and immediately booked. I saw her in September and had severe seborrheic dermatitis. She treated and cared for my hair like no other. She then gave me an ointment to take home to use. I went back in October and went from severe to mild dermatitis after one treatment. She truly has blessed hands and I am so grateful to have found her. I recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist who deeply cares about your scalp.

I recently had the opportunity to participate in guslene’s hands-on JAPANESE HEADSPA +REJUVASCALP SYSTEM WORKSHOP I can only describe as truly transformative. From start to finish, this course exceeded all my expectations and left me feeling inspired, knowledgeable, and ready to take on new challenges. This class provided a unique learning experience! The instructor of the class was extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the subject matter. They had a genuine passion for teaching and a knack for breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps. Their guidance and expertise were invaluable in helping me navigate through the practical exercises and understand the rationale behind each step. The hands-on nature of the class was a definite highlight. It provided an opportunity to directly apply what I was learning and gain a deeper understanding through practical application. The availability of resources and materials throughout the class was commendable. The instructor ensured that we had access to all the necessary tools and equipment, as well as supplementary resources such as reference materials, instructional videos, and real-life examples. This comprehensive approach enhanced the learning experience and made it easier to grasp the practical aspects of the subject matter. Overall, this hands-on class was an enriching experience that allowed me to develop practical skills and gain confidence in enhancing my clients experiences. I scheduled a silk press and trim with Guslene after finding her on Instagram via another stylist who I follow. I have to add this was my first visit and the damage to my hair was unrelated to this appointment. I have been wearing crochet braids regularly and the damage happened during the removal process with a different stylist. I sweat in my head and crochet braids help me maintain a styie while still exercising regularly. My hair turned out great. Guslebe salvaged as much of my length as she could. I canceled my braid appointment when I got home. It actually took my visit with Guslene to prompt me to review my records and determine the breakage was from the take down process. I'm very gentle with my hair, use Ouidad and Innersense products and sit under the dryer for wash and go styles. I even added Olaplex treatments after take downs. But I stopped doing my own crochet removal (2 hours or more for me) and had been paying for that service (usually 30 minutes). My intention had been to grow my hair back out to bra strap length by 2024 with crochet braids but that is now pushed to 2025.

I’m writing this review for the rose petals and mint hair bath service with high-frequency scalp therapy add-on (but really I’m writing about how the scalp cleansing and styling had me wearing my hair out for ~2 weeks post-service)! Guslene was professional, courteous, and provided top-notch service, including a nice hot tea and some impromptu hair salon therapy during my high-frequency treatment 😋. I would recommend this service to anyone inquiring and hope to make it part of my regular self-care regimen.

My scalp has been giving me trouble for a while now. I finally decided to go ahead and try the RejuvaScalp facial, and this was amazing decision. I honestly was not sure what to expect, and I am beyond pleased. This was a relaxing experience that I did not know I truly needed. I had the rose bath service and it was amazing and so relaxing. My scalp felt rejuvenated afterward as well. I had the twist out service with a trim. Gus was knowledgeable about the products and practices I should use to retain moisture for my 4c curls and walked me through each step so I was aware of what she was doing to my hair. Guslene is amazing. She is patient, knowledgeable and TALENTED! I had a terrible experience with an inexperienced colorist and called her upset and desperate to have my hair restored. She was kind, advised of treatment options on the phone and offered to “squeeze me in” at her first opportunity. While receiving her services, she explained every step and product. She kept reassuring me that the damage was temporary and that restoration was possible. I left not only feeling more confident in my appearance but also that my hair was in the hands of someone who cared about the quality of her work and her client’s satisfaction. I’ve been three times since and each time I’ve received consistent service and undivided attention. Highly recommend.

Guslene is an EXPERT in seborrheic dermatitis treatment. I’ve suffered from Seborrheic Dermatitis for over a decade. I’ve done everything from the fluocinonide solution to the ketoconazole 2% shampoo. They work but after a week I HAVE to wash my hair again. I received the scalp detox from the Head Spa on 12.9.22 it’s now 12.27.22 and there’s not a flake in sight! The salon suite is gorgeous the environment is welcoming and Guslene’s customer service is top tier. She took her time with my scalp going through each and every section and explaining the process to me. Guslene is a straight shooter, hearing her speak I’m like this is me and I am her. Found out we share the same birthday. The process was smooth I got a trim, silk press, and ponytail. The service and experience was great. No complaints. My next appointment is booked as I’m in the Lyft heading home.

Where do I begin? I’m a teacher, so get ready for my STORY TIME about my girl, Guslene!! I kept reaching out to bridal stylists and would NOT get any responses. ❌ A few months before my wedding, I posted a poll on my IG asking for recommendations. I was recommended to Guslene by 2 different people, so I instantly knew I HAD to book an appointment! If you know me, you know I LOVE a nice, silky, look-like a perm, silk press, so that is what I did and Gus KILLED it!! 💁🏾‍♀️ She has the softest hands ever! 💆🏾‍♀️ Fast forward to me asking her about being my bridal hairstylist. Gus told me she was in retirement and didn’t do bridal hair anymore, but she made an exception for ME!! ☺️ Y’all, I was hypedddd!! 💃🏾 At last, I had found my bridal hairstylist, after many Dead Ends! I had my hair preview with her 2 weeks before the wedding and she did her thing!! One thing for sure and 2 things for certain, Gus is going to BE ON TIME/EARLY!
