Great service and very knowledgeable massage therapist. I have done two massage services with him so far and it was very helpful. He focus on the area you prefer if you ask him to, and he has been doing it for a very long time. Very convenient location

JC's massage techniques are spot on. I see him regulary for therapeutic massage for hip, back and shoulder pain. Without fail, every time, he is able to identify exactly what needs to be done to help the effected area(s) release and feel better. One example- I have reoccuring tennis elbow that physicians recommend injections. JC works on surrounding muscles and trigger points and the pain/numbness lessens significantly;no injections needed! I highly recommend the Salt Massage Room!

There is no one better than JC! He is a very skilled therapist. I am a disabled veteran with chronic muscular and pain issues. I’ve been seeing JC for 10+ years as no one knows what they’re doing quite like him. He calms the pain and makes life bearable. I don’t know what I’d do without him.

I visited JC for a pre natal massage while in Tampa for vacation. He was able to get me in on the same day with no issue . JC was very knowledgeable and caring . The massage was amazing. I walked away feeling like a new woman!

I've been going to JC at the Salt Massage Room for years. JC is very knowledgeable and experienced, and he's able to pinpoint the areas where I'm feeling pain and work on those specifically. My doctor recommended regular massage to help reduce inflammation issues and improve my range of motion. I have definitely seen a difference. I would definitely recommend this massage service to anyone who is looking for relief from pain.

Highly recommend! The salt room was so grounding and my massage from JC was absolutely incredible. I have been to many massage therapists, he has been the best I’ve been too. He knew exactly what was bothering me and how to address it. I will absolutely be coming back any time I visit Tampa!!

An excellent massage and experience. My doctor recommended I see JC for medical massage to help my TMJ. It helped immediately and I have since been back for full body work. When I finished physical therapy at The Florida Orthopedic Institute for shoulder bursitis in 2017, JC was highly recommended to me by their therapists as the best in the area. The therapists were correct, and my family and I have been going to JC exclusively for the past 3 years. During that time he has helped us with our health challenges of arthritis and physical traumas from car and ski accidents. JC is always on time for appointments and his massage rooms are very clean. He calmly and swiftly finds our aches and pains and works them out so that when the session is over we walk out feeling excellent. Through the years I’ve had many massages throughout Tampa Bay and JC’s massages are the best in the area.

BEWARE!!! JC has the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with! He scheduled my appointment time incorrectly and i remember our exact conversation. He kept yelling at me and arguing with me to the point i had to hang up. I had my whole day planned around this with childcare. He was unapologetic, completely rude and just didn’t care. I would never recommend this place because nobody should be treated the way i was treated!! My appointment was with Michelle and she was so sweet and understood the issue. I was supposed to have a relaxing day with a massage now this guy has ruined my day and completely upset me, not sure how you can be a therapist and treat people like this!!

Best massage I have ever had in my life. It's the massage you NEED not the massage you thought you wanted! Has definitely helped with some running/exercise related injuries and with some muscle spasms I was having in my upper back. Absolutley amazing, I highly recommend!!!

I found this little place looking for 90 minute massage options in the Tampa area. I called and JC answered and had an opening today, on a Sunday. Big win for me because I've been going to the gym even though I've been feeling stiff and sleep has been hiding from me. There is a salt option during this massage that is supposed to help relaxation and breathing. I had him use that part of the time and then asked for just music to relax. JC was amazing. He worked the knots out of my hamstrings and massaged the tightness out of my neck and shoulder. He really knows his craft and I am glad I found this location. I will be back to see JC Alvarez again.

He has a complete understanding of muscle groups and techniques to achieve the ultimate results for relief of body ache and pain. He explained what he was doing and helped me understand why I was having the pain I was having and the healing cycle that helped me get to my highest health potential. He also shared his wealth of knowledge on foods, nutrients and vitamins that the body needs to stay healthy. I would highly recommend J.C. for massage treatment whether it be for healing or relaxation!
