Great stay at this smaller, luxury resort. All the accoutrements were perfect. From the Nespresso in the rooms to the hot tub and outdoor fires to chase the evening cool away, the Scott Resort & Spa is great! Highly recommend. Great location too.

Great place in the middle of Scottsdale to stay. We did not take advantage of the pool area (highs in the low 60s) but we have on prior stays. The staff seemed a bit overworked due to shortages.

Horrific vomiting at The Scott. Stayed for 5 nights and the wife and I both got food poisoning from different meals. Ruined the entire trip. No Sedona, no golf, bed only. If you choose to eat at the Scott, you better have an iron stomach.

We chose The Scott Resort for our company party and booked Sunset Room and patio. The room was perfect, intimate with plenty of space to dance and socialize. The food was exceptional. It was located in an area near our tables, but in a beautiful space adjacent to our tables in a private area. The patio was perfect, partially enclosed by landscaping with plenty of heaters to keep us comfortable. We enjoyed an amazing cocktail experience to kick off the night. I cannot express in words how incredible the staff was to work with. They were warm, always available, professional, and patient. They didn't overwhelm us, but were present and timely with all aspects of service. In addition to the event, we booked rooms to extend the evening. The check in was flawless, rooms were clean and accommodating, and we even enjoyed the heated pool. It is hard to find a place that is so willing to give you the space and support to just enjoy yourself. We have had an annual party for over a decade at many of the Old Town Scottsdale resorts. This resort made our entire experience one to remember and we are so happy we decided on the Scott! In the words of Arnold, we will be back!!!

I cannot express how disappointed I am in this hotel. I always overlook long, poor reviews when the rest are good, but I beg you not to overlook this one if you are considering planning an event here. I had my rehearsal dinner here as well as my wedding room block. I have severe food allergies and worked with Julie for months to make sure all food at my rehearsal dinner was safe for me to eat. On the night of the event, the chef came out after I expressed my concern that food looked like it had my allergens in it. He went down the buffet line with me and determined that the only thing I could eat was some chicken and some steak that were supposed to go inside of tacos. If I hadn’t double checked, I would’ve ended up in the hospital the night before my wedding. They said there was nothing I could do because the food was all “pre-made.” I sent them an email to let them know immediately and Julie called me to (what felt like) argue with me about what we had agreed on. We paid for upgrades to food items in the package we selected for the sole purpose of me being able to eat it and I couldn’t. They also promised an allergy friendly dessert that was simply not there. They left our bar open for an additional hour that night which was nice, but that didn’t even begin to cover how bad our experience was. On top of this, we had asked for champagne on ice to be delivered to our room on the night of the wedding. When we came back after our wedding, our room HADN’T EVEN BEEN CLEANED and there was no champagne, which we were willing to pay for. Julie and Avis have done the bare minimum to resolve the issue and when I asked for more, they ended up giving me a whopping $296 refund when we had agreed on half-off our room for wedding night which was $750, 10% overage fee to be refunded, as well as 10% refund on our banquet order. It has taken 2 months to communicate about resolving the issue and not to mention they “accidentally” auto charged me even more in the process and didn’t realize until I told them. Don’t bother planning your event here.

My fiance booked the little staycation spa day Weeknd and after we checked in and walked up into our room right outside our door housekeeping was cleaning the adjacent room 5 minutes later I went to an appointment that I had and I walked out looked at the person that was doing the housekeeping I said hello and I walked out 15 minutes later I get a call from my girl telling me that the guy opened the door and walked right in without knocking and she was in the bathroom changing into her robe. He knew that we were in that room he saw us walk in he saw me walk out. To make matters worse the head of security tells my girl that oh she should have put her do not disturb placard on the door handle he also said that he was just checking to make sure that the room was clean only to have the front desk receptionist tell her that that's weird because the room was labeled as cleaned was she assigned it to us and gave us the keys. VERY unprofessional behavior from the security I'm totally unacceptable by the house keeping attendant

The pool and lobby are gorgeous and a great place to lounge. The Cana Club waitstaff were rude. The room was dirty and smelly.

Bathroom grout was covered in limescale. Wifi is $15 per day. Staff is rude. Charged $30 for early check-in to a room that didn’t have running water, and the staff refused to work with me to return the early check in fee. For the money, I’d look somewhere else.

This is a nice property with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and great pool. Prices are a little on the high end of the range especially during peak season. The grounds have several hammocks and other lounging areas just to sit and do nothing. Food at restaurant nothing fancy. Staff friendly snd helpful. Check out is 11am with a complimentary 1 hour extension. After that, it’s $30/hr late check out. Location wise, it’s sort of in the center of Scottsdale and a 10 min walk from the Fashion Square mall. There is a free first come first served shuttle service taking you anywhere within a 3 mile radius. Uber or Waymo from the airport will run you about $25-30. Prices for food items in the min bar not cheap. A 16oz water will run you $10!

Beautiful boutique property, you can tell a lot of thought went into all design details. Pool was refreshing, Canal Club, the restaurant, had something for everyone in our party, the staff was top- notch and the location of The Scott itself was perfect. We were within walking distance of nice shops and restaurants. Already looking forward to our next stay!

We got placed in a room by the service entry and lost a whole night and morning of sleep while the staff brought loud clunking metal carts back and forth outside our room. Front desk manager acted annoyed when I asked for different rooms at 5:15am (not one apology) and then up charged us for the different rooms. Also if you want a tiny bathroom this is the hotel for you! Not sure I could recommend this hotel for the prices they charge.

Parking for the evening event was very sparse. Had to park in the hotel area & walk around the outside of the facility. But the personnel, environment presentation, and event were outstanding!!

The Scott Resort and Spa is undeniably beautiful, and we were so excited to stay there. The resort offers amazing amenities like cornhole, a spacious lawn for the kids to play on, giant Connect 4, chess in the bar/lobby area, two gorgeous pools (one with a beach entrance), several seating areas with cozy bonfires, and an overall aesthetic vibe that’s perfect for relaxation. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by an issue with the air conditioning. After returning from dinner, we found the room to be nearly 80 degrees with no functioning A/C. Since the windows don’t open and the French doors lack screens, airing out the room wasn’t possible without letting critters in. We were informed that no other rooms with working A/C were available, and while a fan was provided, it wasn’t enough to make the room comfortable. This was especially disappointing for our family of four, including two small children, who were eager to enjoy everything the resort had to offer. Instead, we had to repack and find alternative lodging on Christmas Eve—a stressful and disheartening experience during what was supposed to be a special holiday getaway. It’s such a shame because the resort has so much potential to create a wonderful stay.
