I came to Melissa in NEED for my skin to be fixed for my wedding. I was so sad and self conscious of my skin when I first met Melissa. My skin barrier was ruined and i had cystic acne from the derm perscribing me spiro…We did multiple micro channeling, peels and facials. She was able to reduce the pigmentation, acne scarring significantly and getting my skin barrier healthy again allowing me to feel CONFIDENT for my big day. Both gals are super friendly and would reccomend either. 🫶🏼

I came to Melissa wanting to improve my skin's pigmentation and texture leading into my wedding so that I could feel super confident at all of the events leading up to and my wedding day - both in person and in photos! Not only did my skin improve SO much for my wedding day, she was able to get me on a solid skincare routine that really worked for me & I have been able to maintain it 4 months post wedding too! I learned from her and know my skin better as a result. The procell therapy worked wonders getting my texture and tone under control and my skin barrier has never been more stable. So thankful! <3

I love the Skyn Distillery. Mel’s facials are absolutely amazing and I bought an inferred sauna package and it has been a wonderful experience. Perfect for rejuvenating and taking time for myself. Overall, the Skyn Distillery is the best place to focus on treating yourself or gifting your loved ones a very special wellness experience.

Absolutely incredible! Started seeing Mel prior to my wedding. With the stress of wedding planning I was so worried about the state my skin would be in come the big day. Mel helped amplify my skincare routine by recommending the appropriate products and facials specifically for my skin type leading up to my wedding. The combo of the Glo2Facial & dermaplaning is chef’s kisses! HIGHLY recommend & encourage all brides to complete the Bridal Skincare program at The Skyn Distillery to accomplish the best bridal glow ever for your special day. Mel was absolutely amazing in getting my skin prepped for my wedding day!! She helped find skin care products to use, along with skincare treatments to time out perfectly up until the big day. Each time I left my skin was always glowing and felt so great. She also did such an amazing job with my brows!! I cannot recommend the Skyn Distillery enough for bridal skincare and brows! The Skyn Distillery is everything I always needed but could never find! I started seeing Mel last November when I truly felt like there was no hope for my skin… after a Face Reality Bootcamp, paired with some procell treatments, my skin literally looked and felt the best it’s ever been! I was so nervous for my wedding day, as I’ve always been acne prone, but Mel helped me every step of the way to find a skin routine that helped reduce my acne, redness, and scaring in order to help make me feel my absolute best on the big day this October! I’m so grateful that I’ve found Mel and have found a place that genuinely takes great care in knowing my skin and helping me keep it in great shape!

Mel has been my trusted and beloved esthi for the last few years. When I got engaged, I couldn't wait to start my bridal skincare prep with Mel. Mel created a plan for facial services and products that were tailored to my skin's needs and my timeline. In the months leading up to my wedding, we used a variety of treatments including Procell Microchanneling and regular facials that included peels. The week of my wedding I had dermaplaning and a Glo2Facial. I couldn't have been happier with my skin's condition on my wedding day. Mel is professional, dependable, and gives the BEST facial massages. Additionally, with Mel's longstanding history in the wedding makeup biz, she had phenomenal recommendations for wedding day hair and makeup artists in the Twin Cities. Mel truly cares about each of her client’s unique needs. She’s very informative and takes time to answer all my questions. Mel is incredible. She not only has the tools to change your skin but the knowledge AND science behind it. I came to Mel after years (15+) of every derm product available to fix my acne. I tried all the holistic measures, cutting out food, topicals, all the things. I followed her plan to a T and she made multiple changes as we went. She wanted to see my skin succeed and be clear. My skin looked like the first pic for 20 years. Once my cystic acne was gone, she focused on my melasma on my forehead and skin clarity to get an even texture and brightness. I’ve thrown out a lot of money prior to Mel. She’ll work with your budget. I’m going on a year and a half of being diligent about my at home skin care routine from Mel and facials. Still can’t believe my skin can look like this. I put in the work to keep up with products, my routine daily, and facials but Mel gave me the tools and confidence to do so. Took about 1 year to get skin cleared fully, 6 months for it to get dramatically better though. Go see her!

My skin concerns are primarily acne, I saw Emily for about a year before moving to CO, and my skin has been so clear with texture improvements as well! After moving to Denver, the roughly 2 years I’ve been trying to find esthis that can provide the same results and I can’t say I have!! I’ve been excited to see Emily when I’m back in MPLS and can’t wait get started on my bridal skincare routine! She’s the best!!

Amazing! Had my first Procell treatment. Mel was amazing. She connected with me prior to my appointment and outlined the entire process. When I arrived (their space is amazing and calming), she went into further detail and ensured I fully understood my treatment. She left me with detailed instructions, a follow up email and asked that I follow up with any questions. Great experience! Worth every penny…. Highly recommend

Do not buy products from here. Never received any confirmation then the item was marked as delivered, even though I have not received the product. Whether I got scammed or not, the lack of communication and confirmation is abnormal and there are much better places with better shipping times to choose from.

I am so grateful for Emily and the way she changed my skin. I completed two rounds of accutane and I STILL struggled with horrible breakouts!! I came to her timid and ashamed of my skin and she welcomed me with nothing but genuine kindness. I have seen Mel for over a year now and I can truly say I have yet to meet anyone in the beauty and esthetician industry who is as talented as she is. Every facial or treatment I’ve had with her has been a 10/10. She takes her time, goes above and beyond, and provides an extremely relaxing experience. She is also extremely knowledgeable on skin conditions, their treatments, and the many medical grade products she uses. She always answers my questions, even when not during an appointment time. I never feel like she tries to over-sell me on products and instead makes only the necessary or asked for recommendations. I recently went through a debilitating time with acne and she was so kind, helpful, and caring. She also gives an unbelievable hand and neck area massage. Loved everything about the facial I got from Mel! It was so relaxing and the massage was one of the best I've had yet during a facial. Plus, I felt like my skin was much more hydrated and healthier after the treatment. I’m adding on to this review that I wrote after my very first facial with Melissa (written above)…because she is no joke, AMAZING at her job. I’ve now had about 6 from her and if I had the budget for it, I’d go weekly. She works so hard at it and I’ve never once been disappointed. I really can’t recommend her enough! The best!
