The Spa and Fitness Centre at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago

This place temporarily “takes you away“ from your day-to-day routine life. First of all walking in you are greeted by the most welcoming and accommodating team. They give you a tour and help you get settled quite nicely. The spa itself is absolutely beautiful. The pool area has amazing city views and looks brand new! There's a large hot tub and a pool big enough for laps which is heated. There were some kids, probably staying at the hotel, who effected our serene vibe but they were only there for about 20 minutes. We both had the 80 minute massages and they were fantastic. One of the best! The unlimited champagne was a real win!!! The beautiful locker room has a sauna, steamer and the softest robes that have ever touched my body. Check out with Micheal was efficient, friendly, and you leave wanting to schedule a return appointment!

The Spa needs a separate locker room for spa guest and hotel families. It was just too noisy, too many kids running around. I expected so much more from a Four Seasons Spa. While the staff were exceptional…i would not recommend the Chicago Four Seasons location. Once again, all levels of the staff were simply amazing!

This place has so much going for it, and it unfortunately has so Much not going for it. What’s working, the tranquil room, the lovely facial by Aneta, the beautiful pool. What’s really not: the SCREAMING children in the dressing rooms, that are allowed to run around unattended into saunas but naked. I attempted to relax pre and post facial and both times were met with an overwelhming amount of loud, screaming children. I understand that children exist and stay at hotels, but when you book a spa treatment at one of the nicest hotels, the last thing you want is to be face to face with someone else’s screaming toddler. The simple solution would be to have a family locker rooms.

I bought a 50m couples massage. This was my first table massage (which I desperately needed) and it was just okay. I'm giving a lower rating because the whirlpool is down for maintenance and I was mislead to think the pool would be heated. Even the attendant thought the water was 85°F. It was more like 65°F and I did not get in. So I did not really enjoy the facilities included with the purchase of the couples massage, and did not experience a good value. I was also extremely upset that they do not have true plus size robes available. Am I the only big person to go here? The robe was labeled XXXL but was more like an L or XL. Staff did not seem to care about my situation and discomfort. No apologies rendered, terrible customer service. To reiterate, do not lie about having a heated pool. False advertising. Upset. Not returning.

Top notch. Impeccable service, friendly staff and a wonderful massage! They even remembered our anniversary and I'm not sure how they knew? Great stuff!

Wonderful massage. Very accommodating. Professional. Schedule was quite busy (New Years weekend) so recommend booking in advance of arrival even.
