This spot is phenomenal! Everyone was so helpful and friendly from booking and beyond. Dorothy and Gail made me SO comfortable and gave me the best massage and body polish of my life. Just what I needed. Highly recommend The Spa at Palmer House.

What an absolutely wonderful experience! I had a mani-pedi by Sheena, and she did a fantastic job! My massage was by Aga and was quite possibly the best masseuse I have ever had. Cannot recommend enough!!

Boy oh boy, my mom passed so I treated myself to a trip to Chicago. The palmer house changed my mindset on life back to before the tragic event. That is the essence of revitalizing/rejuvenation.

We had a group of 4 for my mother’s 90th birthday. We each had 3 services; massage, body wrap, and sole revival. All the providers were wonderful at their jobs, and all were extremely nice, too. The spa management made arranging the event via email and phone very easy, especially since we had a number of special requests for the food. The price was incredibly reasonable, considering it included the 3 services per person, a light meal, taxes, fees, and gratuities, and an incredibly luxe robe to take home. We were very happy to add extra gratuities for the providers. It was a blissful experience!

This place is AMAZING! I took my wife to Chicago for her 40th birthday and decided to book a massage as part of the surprise. After reviewing several spas in the area, I decided on The Spa at Palmer House. They had a special on their Empire Package which consisted of a 50 minute massage, a 50 minute facial, and a body wrap. Of course I purchased one for myself as well lol. I've never had a facial or a body wrap before. Let me tell you .... it was fantastic! I didnt want to leave!!! The staff was so welcoming and it was basically three hours of total relaxation. I highly recommend the Spa at Palmer House!!!!

Unfortunately my package was very lack luster. The best part was the massage. But the body wrap was nothing like described and I was not cocooned in a warm wrap it was falling apart and felt like a wet blanket. Nothing about it was relaxing. And the facial was not signature at all there was no discussion on what products to use and I got more of a half assed massage. Not a signature facial. I would go back for a massage but nothing else. I feel like I was swindled and did not get what I paid for.

Amazing service - it was my first time getting vichy and it was very relaxing, just what I needed after back-to-back traveling. There was a mix-up earlier with the hotel staff when I called about scheduling, and the staff at the spa tried their best to make it right. I'm happy about my visit and hope to come again soon.

Massage- it was amazing. I’m in the dental field so I have constant soreness and knots and I felt like a million bucks after my service. Hydrodermabrasion- with the over tanning of my face and the pollutants making my face dull and hyperpigmented, this did wonders to brighten up my face. Nothing harsh and my facial was customized to my needs. My skin looks amazing for a change. Vichy massage/exfoliation- everyone should try this. My skin feels like a baby’s and this unique massage is relaxing while therapeutic. Palmer house spa has the sweetest staff. Attentive , kind, and so positive. Thank you for a wonderful day. I had to cut a Mexican vacation short due to a health issue but this was a great way to make up for it!

The spa is pretty and clean, but it's noisy. I got a massage and couldn't relax because of all the noise from the group event happening in the lobby. The spa promotes group spa days and these groups hang out together in the centralized lobby, eating, drinking, and socializing between services. They talk nonstop in normal voices, not indoor spa voices. The floors are stone so sound travels throughout the spa. I think the spa should put groups in a soundproof room or close the spa for private events. On top of that, the massage was just ok. She couldn't figure out the right pressure and squeezed my forearm so hard it hurt for a couple days. After that experience I was more tense than before. I work by the spa so the location is convenient, but unless something is done about the noisy group events, I don't think I'd return.

We saw there was a lost range CBD massage option and jumped at the chance since we love their products. The massage was incredible with the cooling and heat sensations. Location was stunning and it was overall a fantastic experience.

Did a group event there and had an amazing experience! We had 7 people and it was great that everyone was able to get a service done all at the same time so we were all able to gather together as opposed be being staggered and some people missing another person. They had a nice snack spread and wine. The best part was the parting gift. Everyone received one of their super plush robes. ❤️

I attended the Friends and Family event at The Palmer House last week and it was spectacular! My hydrodermabrasion facial by Gail was the best and most gentle facial I’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the sound bowl session we had before the treatment. Best spa experience from beginning to end. I’ll surely be back.

Oh my gosh Wow! I had a massage yesterday that completely turned my month around. It was a stressful month filled with guests, work pressures, and family obligations. But my hour massage with Sarah at the spa melted all the stress away. The massage was high quality. The right pressure, a comfortable space, and a very skilled massage therapist. The amenities were top tier from the comfortable robe, complimentary beverages, and great skin care offerings. And I have to shout out the front desk staff too. Jacob was so helpful, kind, patient, and guided me to the perfect treat for a stressful month. A highly recommend the Palmer House Spa for a world class experience in Chicago.

I visited while in town for business and can honestly say it was one of the best massages I’ve had. Upon walking in, I was immediately calmed by the quiet, zen atmosphere. And it only got better from there. This spa is a hidden gem in the loop and I could not have been more pleased with my 50 min deep tissue massage by Sandy. I was literally holding back my pleasure moans. Bonus: walking through the history Palmer House hotel to get to the 5th floor spa is also quite an experience. Highly recommend.

I attended the spa on a girls getaway trip. The massage and wrap were very enjoyable but overall, the waiting room was very noisy and the facial products smelled of tequila. To top it off, the spa prematurely charged to the card on file rather than waiting to confirm we were staying in the hotel. It’s an average spa if you are looking for a massage and wrap.

This was my second 80 minute state facial at the Palmer Spa, and this time it was incredible! The staff really looked at my skin, evaluated what my skin needed, and did a fantastic job. I felt extremely relaxed (I even fell asleep at one point which is always difficult for me so it was a welcome surprise and showed how relaxing the experience was). My face after the facial has held the shine and brightness that I wanted. I even bought some of the products which I never do! Would definitely recommend!

My favorite spa! We Always make a point to go whenever we are in Chicago. My wife got a facial and I got a 50 minute full body massage. Both services were incredible! Would give 6 stars if possible!

Every time I come to Palmer House Spa, I always have the most relaxing time. They know how to treat their guests by asking if we need anything before, during and after the services. I come here for massages, and it’s the best one I’ve had in the city. Love coming here!

This spa is the real deal! Even though it’s in a hotel, it does not feel like an afterthought. The only thing I wish was different are expanded hours. It was a bit of a challenge to fit in my services while also trying to spend the day enjoying all that Chicago has to offer. Some earlier morning or later evening hours would be lovely helpful. Overall, a lovely massage and spa experience!

Very professional and flexible. I got a same day appt by filling out the contact form online before they opened. Then the called me promptly when they opened and offered me some available same day spots that opened up. Great massage. Would go again.
