Wow. What an amazing first Spa experience at Talking Stick. We arrived for an early morning massage. I was paired with Stacy and I honestly had the best massage of my life. I came in suffering with a migraine/tension headache for over a week, and it was meant to be that she is a neck expert. I left mostly pain free, which has felt like a miracle. After the massages we enjoyed the steam room, the hot jacuzzi with jets powerful enough to give a small massage too, as well as the deck/viewpoint where we were able to relax, enjoy some snacks, and order a little something to eat. If I’m ever in Phoenix again, I will make sure to come back!

I just had a facial with Tammy at the Spa at Talking Stick Resort in Phoenix. I don’t love the facility, being used to rather more luxurious surrounds at the Camelback Resort (where the spa is currently under renovation), but the facial was a wonderful experience. The Elemis products are divine, and Tammy is an excellent therapist. The bed is heated and very comfortable, and she made the whole experience really great. If you book here for a facial, I recommend Tammy very highly.

If you want your feet to look brand new then you should book a pedi at the Talking Stick Resort Spa. It was so amazing. They put warm towels on our neck, stunning view and amazing massage. The quality of a resort pedi is unmatched compared to a normal/local nail spa. It’s not as cheap but totally worth it if you want to treat yourself or have a special spa day.

This is honestly a scam , I paid $80 for a foot massage for my wife and it was so disappointed , you get better massage at the mall for $30 …… don’t ever come back here to get a massage!

This was hardly worth the $283 I spent on two pedicures. Such a huge rip-off. First, they don't tell you that you need to upgrade get the gel polish if you plan to use the water or sauna at the facilities or else your polish comes off. I paid $100 for two of us EACH to use their facilities including water/sauna but would have to wait 1.5 HR with regular polish to dry. Thanks for the heads up ladies. Second, they charged my daughter $15 to remove the SMALLEST amount of gel polish she had on only two nails from 6 months ago without even mentioning it!! The ladies don't say a word to you, and they don't really know what they're doing. They are NOT licensed technicians. The polish was OPI and looks like it's cheaper quality. It wasn't applied very well on either of us. I paid $83 just in extra fees and taxes they added. I paid the minimum $100 each for the day to use the facility, but didn't stay, it wasn't anything special or fancy. We went down to our West pool and Jacuzzi and ordered pool service instead. Disappointed for the money I spent.

Don’t waste your money. By far one of the worst massages I have ever gotten. I get massages frequently and very disappointed with my masseuse and the spa

I hate to say that I was underwhelmed with our experience. We were coming in from NY and a couples massage was a gift to my husband. I had looked up many places and I liked the description of how this spa uses Native products and the pictures and descriptions of looking out at the desert, so ultimately decided to book here. Upon arrival we were greeted by a receptionist who had us wait for an attendant to take us to our respective locker rooms. (This was an additional $8 a piece charge on our bill) They showed us where the lockers were and showers and told us to get ready for our massages and were on their way. Once I was reunited with my husband in a hallway we were taken to “our massage room” Curtains drawn on windows. No overlook of the desert as described. Our massage therapists greeted us and told us to prepare for our massages and get under the sheets while they left the room. It was here I realized I had nothing on and my husband still had underwear on. Of course in front of him I don’t care. But was awkward as he told me his attendant told him to keep his on and mine hadn’t told me to, so now I felt weird that I didn’t have mine on! The massage therapists came back in. Asked if we had a particular part of our bodies we wanted work on and set to work to do our massages. The massages themselves were adequate and I had thought with so much attention given in the description they may have told us what lotions, etc they were using on us. But, nothing was said. Whatever, is what it is. We did not in fact look over the desert. We were facing a wall of cabinets. And the spa tub in our massage room was not working. So there goes that. After our massages we were asked if we wanted to sit outside and relax. We said yes. Grabbed a couple of waters and set out to the balcony. One thing I was surprised was our therapists never said anything to us about staying hydrated etc as I have had in the past after a massage. They just thanked us and said have a good day and walked away. Now, we’re out on this balcony in our robes, supposed to be relaxing after our massages, when groups of strangers come walking out. From what we could gather the hotel was giving tours of their spa area. Just a tad awkward to be sitting outside in a robe as groups of strangers are being walked through. No one came out again to see how we were doing or ask about our experience etc. After feeling weird with the groups of people continuing to walk through we decided we’d rather just go. Gratuity was included automatically in our final bill… so $612 later for two massages. Including that awesome $8 a piece to be shown to a locker room. I was just not impressed. I had higher hopes for using the property as it was described and having a full day of relaxation.

My girlfriend and i went here and paid 80 dollars for a pedicure that was nothing special but the gel polish came off 4 days later on my friend and a week and a half on me. I called and was told the manager would call me and make it right and never got thst call. Last time i go there and save you money!

Not my thing. We play 2 rounds at their over-rated over priced golf courses. The courses were a 5 on the scale. They charged for a 10.

I really loved the gal who did my facial. Thru no fault of hers, She touched something in my neck and within an hour I had a muscle spasm in my neck. Another hour and it was down my back. I ended up in urgent care then my GP. I'm still suffering. Again I want to say it wasn't at all the fault of my aesthetician. It's the client's responsibility to let her know of any issues you might have. This is a 'heads up' for future clients.

The best spa I've been to in Arizona

This is a little hidden gem of a spa. First of all it’s on the top floor so the views are outstanding. Next, they use eminence products which are top level and luxurious. I purchased a body scrub which was excellent. There’s a shower in the room to rinse off between scrub and lotion application which I appreciate. There’s all the amenities you would expect in a spa including private relaxation areas. The prices compare to that of a high end spa but it’s worth the price considering you could spend the entire day in the spa relaxing. I highly recommend this spa if you’re staying at talking stick or are staying near the area.

1st and foremost, then Mens locker room is borderline disgusting. After taking the first step into the steam room, you immediately notice the muddy looking standing water on the floor. A closer look at the walls and you may get nauseated by the amount of mold visible. The showers had the same grime and mold in its tiles. So clear that deep cleaning this space is not a priority. Then was the massage. Wife and I signed up for a 105min couples massage simply because of the duration being longer than any other we found. Unfortunately, the massage was still only about 60ish minutes, while 30 was spent doing a “massage technique” so ineffective that involved the lights pressure with a single finger poke every 10seconds down the side of the leg. Yes, as ridiculous as it sounds. The remaining time was used up by the excessively long transitions to other body parts. It was clear the tactics used in the 105min massage is to waste time, not actually provide a longer massage. I couldn’t recommend choosing a different spa more. Do not go here if you want quality or cleanliness, because you’ll find neither.

Amazing experience! Had Tammie for my facial and Karen for massage. Being black you may get treated differently at some places but I felt welcomed and comfortable here the entire time. The view from the 14th floor is a plus.

Facial and body scrub were wonderful. Robe’s are soft, plenty of towels including cold ones. Small steam room, no sauna (which figures as its in the desert). The hot tub is quite small, about 4-5 people max. The views were plentiful, lots of glass and places to go out onto the terrace. Even while sitting in the hot tub you get a nice view. There is a small coed dining area with complementary water, tea, and snacks. Food and drinks are available to order. They do take a bit, I waited 20min for the acai bowl and a glass if rose. If the outdoor spaces are closed it can feel small.

Hands down best spa in Scottsdale.

Loved the spa. Only reason I didn't rate higher was because I booked 5 spa treatments, but the one day I didnt have one, they didn't let me use the steam room.

The therapist ran out of time and literally stopped in the middle of my service. This happened to me and my husband. The manager did respond and apologize however I would not recommend this spa. The lack of expertise and prices don’t align to the treatment you receive. Don’t waste your time!

What an amazing experience. The ambience was great. My therapist was even better. Can't wait to go back again!
