I came into Ms. Folashadé's cute, beautiful and intimate spa with feet that looked like a run-away slave. I left with the feet of a pampered princess. Ms. Folashadé was warm, professional, down to earth, and attentive to my needs. (She is very gentle!) The best experience ever. As a person that values Excellence I received above and beyond Excellence from the moment I arrived until I departed. Her space is so tranquil and welcoming and Folashade has such a sweet spirit. Her energy is vibrant and her playlist was calming and a vibe. Folashadé has made the most beautiful and, welcoming space to do nails. It is so lovely and clean. It’s an intimate spa like experience and she pays attention to every detail like offering weighted neck pillow, drinks and treats. Folashadé is a very sweet woman and easy to chat with which makes the experience seem like you’re hanging out with a close friend. She makes her own cuticle oil and body butters with natural ingredients. I loved everything about this experience and my pedicure is beautiful. I 100% recommend getting your nails done with Folashadé.

Spa by Folashade is a posh, clean and welcoming space. Shade is professional and very knowledgable about nails and works to maintain the integrity of your nails. In addition to her manicure and pedicure services, I love that she offers handcrafted products like the skin butters they smell amazing and keep my hands ultra smooth, the cuticle oil is a must have to maintain a healthy nail bed.

Folashadé exceeded every expectation and request that I had for my appointment. Her passion for her work shows with the attention to detail and care throughout the process. I originally walked in looking to have one service done, but will absolutely be booking for other services she offers as well. I tend to ask a lot of questions when I’m receiving a new service. Folashadé was patient and understanding. If you’re looking for a true gem in the Tampa area, I HIGHLY recommend The Spa by Folashadé!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Spa by Folashadé for the first time, and I must say it was an incredible experience! From the moment I walked into the salon, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Folashadé greeted me with a friendly smile and made me feel right at home. Her attention to detail and expertise in nail care is truly remarkable. She took the time to listen to my preferences and offered helpful suggestions to enhance my nail design. The end result was absolutely stunning! Not only is Folashadé incredibly talented, but she is also a joy to be around. I had my first structured gel manicure and it was perfect. I highly recommend Folashadé for anyone in need of a skilled nail technician. I will definitely be returning for all my future nail needs. Five stars all the way around!

Excellent service! Folashadé is diligent and takes tremendous pride in her work. Her spa is Immaculate. Folashadé offer spa goodies like body butter and oils. They are made with clean ingredients and my whole family loves them. Personal favorite butters are the milk&honey, mango and good vibes. They smell amazing without being overpowering and are sensitive enough for my eczema.

I booked for a Gel X manicure online after messaging the owner/Folashadé via IG. I got there at 4:25 and my appointment was 4:30. After texting her to let her know I was there she arrived closer to 5 and her excuse was that she forgot and it was traffic. The owner/Folashade asked if I wanted my nails shorter or longer and I said shorter so she recommended a structured manicure. During my service she complained about doing the design that I showed her a picture of by making an exhale sound and saying “I wish you told me before”. After the service she charged me $50 more because the service she recommended didn’t match the service I booked for. Folashade didn’t apologize for being late or offer a discount, complained about a simple French, and then charged me without telling me there was a price difference based on something she recommended. I hate to say it but she is not professional and her skill doesn’t match her prices. The salon was clean, the materials were clean, and the music selection was nice.

I’d been following Spa by Folashadé on Instagram for a long while and decided to finally make an appointment for my birthday this past April 2023. First off, the atmosphere at Spa by Folashadé is truly serene. When you walk in to her space, you’re welcomed by a beautiful lounge area, ambient music, and Folashadé’s warm energy. Before getting started with your service she greets you and ensures you’re comfortable. A consummate professional. Second, her work is immaculate. Folashadé takes great pride in her work and it shines through in the care she takes during my visits. I always appreciate that because I am someone who also takes great pride in what I do. Finally, she genuinely cares about the health of your nails. She prioritizes nail CARE and I love that I have a nail tech who’s interested in my nails being cute AND healthy. I’ve been seeing Folashadé every 3 weeks over the last 2 months and my nails have never been so healthy (photo is of my nails; I get structured manicures). Her cuticle oil (as in her own brand of luxurious cuticle oil) has been an absolute game changer for me. My cuticles are flourishing and I’m now sold on cuticle care between visits. Among my favorite features of the Spa is the absence of that strong chemical odor typical of nail salons. Spa by Folashadé doesn’t work with acrylics or other harsh chemicals, so you can rest assured that your routine nail appointment is not exposing you to copious levels of unhealthy toxins. If it isn’t clear, I’m enamored with Spa by Folashadé and I’m so glad that I found her. I love supporting small businesses and this small business is absolutely worth supporting. So don’t wait, go ahead and book your appointment, so she can get your nails all the way together.

I’ve been going to Shade for a few months now and I will never go back! Unmatched quality, professionalism, and service. My nails have never been stronger and healthier. They ACTUALLY last 4+ weeks which in itself is worth the money. The luxury experience provided is just the cherry on top.

Luxurious studio! But not so luxurious service. It's clear that the prices lead to having an upscale clientele but the owner's temperament and social etiquette do not match. If you do not care about professionalism but only about nail style and skill, then this is the place for you. If you do care about equally professional treatment and nail skill/style, there are other places in the Tampa Bay area. Cheers

Treat yourself! I never got my nails done regularly, but since I treated myself almost 9 months ago, I haven't missed an appointment since. This is an experience! Not only that, my nails are so healthy, my pedicure lasts weeks without chipping, and Folashade is so talented, she takes my ideas and creates gorgeous designs. I rarely go a day without someone complimenting my nails.

After I was involved in a car accident I went to get a massage by Dominique she was able to apply the necessary amount of gentleness and pressure to release muscle tension in my neck, back, and hands without reinjuring anything. She definitely has healing energy in her hands and has saved me a lot of money I would have spent on unnecessary medical bills. I will definitely be visiting on a regular basis the staff is friendly and hospitable, the spa is quiet and clean and the service is extremely affordable!

I’d been waiting for books to open back up and it was all worth it. The booking seamless, the check in process simple and the massage phenomenal. Shade’ literally gives the best Brazilian wax in Tampa!!!I have super sensitive skin and is typically prone to ingrown hairs but I literally have no issues after seeing Shade’!She takes her time and will pluck any stubborn hairs, educate you on proper wax after care and the products that she uses are A one!!!!Believe it or not, her waxes are not painful and she’s super fast!!!She is the only person that I will allow to do my waxes!

Folashade has been my nail tech and esthitician for a year now. The Spa is not a quick mani/pedi place you go to on the weekend and your nails are chipped by Tuesday. Expect to be treated like royalty. Privacy, product, technique, cleanliness takes time and attention and Shade is the expert. Acrylics do not exist here either, she's the expert on natural nail care and if you want length, detail, and nail art, you won't be disappointed. Pics are all my natural nails (no acrylics) after a gel mani from Shade.

I had a great time. I usually do not like going to get my nails done but do so because I have to look presentable lol. But at Floshade I laughed, drank coffee, and learned more about my nails than I ever have. I will be going back here every 3 weeks. From the moment I entered this beautiful sanctuary I felt welcome, relaxed, and carefree. The beautiful aromas and decor captivated my senses as I was comfortably seated for my manicure. I was pleasantly surprised to select a delicious beverage from an extensive drink menu that has something for everyone. The products used during my manicure were of the highest quality and complimented the level of quality and care I received during my service and entire experience. Wow!! I live 40 minutes away from this Spa and decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did! The customer service, care and talent was something I’ve never encountered in Tampa. I have already scheduled my next appointment!
