Nice spa at a great location! They have 3 saunas, 1 steam room, jacuzzi, clean showers, games and books! Ways they can improve: have better snack options.

I like this SPA, but PLEASE don’t put true crime on TV in a resting room with green light, I’m trying to relax and it’s showing dead bodies and blood.. otherwise good, really affordable, many tasty options of food. Also, a cold pool would be nice to switch between hot and cold temperatures.

Enjoyed a solo spa day in Ktown! Note that the wet facilities are pretty limited (for women, there's just a steam room + jacuzzi), but there's a co-ed general hangout area downstairs with 3 dry saunas (a salt room, red clay room, & another) + dining + boardgames which is well set-up for spending time with friends if you wish.

So cozy and chill. Very relaxing atmosphere

Very small, clean, spa with lackluster food.

Clean space. Only one hot pool and one hot steam room, no sauna or cold plunge in the gender separated area. Different types of saunas (salt, clay) in the gender neutral space that has a cafe.

Extremely convenient, clean and a great place to escape being in NYC, without leaving NYC!

Spa was very clean. Workers were very nice and timely! Body scrub felt amazing. Very thankful for experience.

A MUST go if you want a lowkey atmosphere and relaxing time! The red clay room, shower area and the cafe were my favorite.

It was my first time visiting this location on MLK day. There was a short line to enter and it can be a daunting experience for those who’ve never done a Korean Spa before. 📝 How to: Book your ticket online a day in advance for 45$. This is cheaper than walking in and paying the walk-in price of 90$. 🚿 Prepping: After paying, proceed to your gender’s restroom to put your shoes away into the first section of little cubbies. Look for your specific locker noted on the magnetic bracelet they give you. I’m not sure if it’ll fit bigger shoes and boots but your everyday sneakers should fit here. You’ll be spending the rest of your time here barefoot. After putting your shoes away you can move to the next section to find your personal locker for your personal belongings. A staff member in the restroom should provide you with the uniform. 💦 Wet Room: Enter nude - shower first before using hot tub or wet sauna 🧖♂️ Dry Rooms: The other half of the spa with food, tables, massages, and hot rooms at around 140F/60C Food: I’d say get the ramen. The bulgogi felt a bit too savory for my liking. Drinks were good tho! Struggled to use the water machines though Service: Staff in restroom were helpful in guiding and letting you know what to do if you’re lost. The kitchen chefs were friendly and helpful. Ambience: Not too loud or crazy. Can feel a bit small but remember you’re in Ktown NYC. People keep to themselves and shouldn’t bother you

Small Korean nude bath spa, maybe 3 saunas, one steam. One jacuzzi

A small spa with a hot tub (5 persons at a time) a mist steam room, and three dry steam rooms. It gets crowed so you may have to wait your turn in the cafeteria where there are snacks and games to play. When checking out the gentleman at the desk mentioned that it’s always crowded at the spa. *addition after response from Spa Club: I went on a Tuesday morning and it was crowded*

It’s small inside the building and pricey, I wish they’re the same as Spa Castle.

Nice place. Very polite staff! Delicious food. Spotless. This is now my ‘go to’ jimjilbang. Had a scrub with ‘Sue’ today which was beyond fabulous! Winter has desiccated my skin terribly, and now it is subtle, soft, and comfortable. Great place and very quiet early on weekdays. 🕊️

Used to be great but now it's full of people who do not respect k-spa etiquette. I believe this would be less of a problem if it were traditional, but here they allow bathing suits in the wet spa and so there are many k-spa first timers. These women are very, VERY loud. And they come to k-spa in packs. They don't shower before entering the hot tub so the water is always murky. It's only a foot of water but it's so grey/beige you cannot see the bottom of the pool. It's gross. NY spa and sauna in flushing shows more wear and tear, but I feel it is more hygienic because people respect the jjimjilbang etiquette -- especially that of showering BEFORE entering the wet spa. While I believe the dry sauna area is better at spa club, I cannot get over the fact that the water here is this dirty. I would not come here on a weekend again. Very loud, very .... gross. I'm sad as I used to love this place, and I have four passes left. Hoping that non-weekends will provide a more restful experience.

I was really excited to try the Spa Club since I’ve been to almost every other jimjilbang/spa in the metro area (spa castle, sojo, QC, king spa). As well as in Seoul.I got there pretty early, before 9am in hopes to beat any crowds (which was great). Unfortunately the MOST important thing for me is cleanliness and the one hot tub in the women’s area before 9am (so right after opening)… was dirty. First I thought it was just one random piece of lint in the water. Then a hair. Then more lint and hairs. Just floating around. Everything else seemed cleaned and maintained but THE TUB IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. And it was after opening, and not from lots of use throughout the day. The worst part is that the cleaning ladies WERE there and attending to the tub, and ignoring the ridiculous amount of lint/hair/dirt(??) The rest of the facility is modest. Only like 3 sauna rooms. I think they’ve invested a lot in services so maybe those are the best here. sikhye was decently priced at $7. I left after about 90 minutes since I couldn’t do my usual soaking in the tubs. Unfriendly ajumma in the women’s section who stopped me from using the vanity sink to brush my teeth… as I was doing my skin care/washing my face. Same ajumma told me to take off my uniform top immediately in front of her when trying to exchange uniforms while sizing up (bottom was small for me, top fit fine). Sadly, I will just continue trekking out to NJ or Queens because my experience here was more than lackluster. The cleanliness was the biggest reason for low rating. Especially because it was morning and basically unused before I got there and STILL was dirty.

I wish I had written a review when I was first here a year ago. Back then it was clean and pristine. I don’t know if I came at a bad time but this recent visit was subpar. The Korean aunties get you right and the treatments are great. I have done the deep tissue massage and sugar scrub. These are excellent services. But I am leaving 3 stars because the cleanliness was not there. Specifically in the women’s baths. There was hair clogging the drain and it stank. Obviously this space has not been cleaned and the hair was sitting there for days. I came in there after treatment and saunas and I barely wanted to wash myself. I was shocked. Also the sauna timers have dirt and the windows have finger prints all over them. I came during the holidays and I would expect at this time The Spa Club would be in tip top. I love this place and I hope this review encourages the facility to reevaluate cleanings.

This Spa has a great ambiance and atmosphere but it had some disappointing flaws. First off, they do not let you wear sandals or flip flops. Seriously? I can understand in the sauna but having to shower and use the bathroom barefoot is just gross. The woman staff member actually told me no sandals allowed as she is wearing sandals. Ironic or funny? It is a very clean place but there is no preventing guys from getting urine on the ground in bathroom when using urinal and I certainly don’t want to be stepping in there barefoot. I’m sure they don’t mop it after every guy uses it. There was also construction going on getting debris on the ground which further justifies wearing the sandals. Also, I found a large hairball in the sleeping lounge in the corner which turned me off. They are super strict with the towels. They will give you a second if you are polite but they will let you know it’s not ok. I still tipped the attendant when I left because I always tip. Ordered the first dish on the menu and it was all deep fried mediocre at best. You can hear the noise from the restaurant below while in the saunas. Their saunas are ok but not hot enough to really get a good sweat. Maybe that’s standard for Korean saunas but I usually like them to be much hotter. I felt more of a tourist vibe here than an authentic sauna/ spa. Good thing my friend recommended the Groupon. Would have been much more disappointed if I paid full price. Other places actually give you sandals and don’t make a fuss about additional towels.

This place sucks bro its basically one of those places that forces you to wear their outfit and everyone walking around barefoot and sweaty the floor so sticky especially inside the saunas eww so gross and those floors mats are sweaty its horrible

What an awesome experience. Spend a whole day through saunas. Just relaxing and sweating! Great de-stress!

i paid the $35 to just have access to the regular amenities but the hot BATH was cloudy and honestly it wasn’t even hot, the sauna smelled moldy, also they’re kind of funny to people who aren’t asian and are new to the establishment i guess they expected me to know certain things but it was my first time at a spa especially a asian one so i felt like they were annoyed/ passive aggressive about certain things but i will not be coming back at all.

I would not call this a relaxing experience. Everything is very transactional and not even well organized. On check in, they ask if you want any services. No explanation of what you can access for free - I saw several people confused about what was included, and I could see that they were being dense on purpose, and implicitly pushed people towards adding services. And they don't explain the different services either. I added on a reflexology - they charged me a 20% tip upfront! Thanks for making me tip 20% irrespective of the quality of service. The reflexology is also in a public room with massage chairs - the kind you find in a nail salon, and you can clearly hear all conversation going on outside. Pretty much making it impossible to relax. Food is not great. All in all, its a convenient location but I wouldn't come back. I'd rather ferry to QC Spa which is SO much nicer.

The staff were super friendly. Made me very comfortable and suggested quite a good couple of restaurants near the area. I also paid for a full body k-scrub. It was amazing. They did wonderfully and made me feel very comfortable (even though I was butt naked). While some of the staff weren't fluent in english, they still communicated very well, and I had no problems understanding their instructions. For the K-scrub, it is a completely nude process, so you will have to be comfortable with that. However, in other areas like the sauna/showers/bathtub, you can just be in a bikini or swimsuit. And for the shared spaces they give you a uniform of sort that you can wear. They are very strict about their no phones policy in the women's only area, so it was very reassuring.

This is one of the best experiences I have had in the city, unfortunately not vegan-friendly. The facilities are beautiful, neat, and clean everywhere. I went with my boyfriend, and immediately we felt comfortable and relaxed. Be warned, the lockers rooms are where the hot tub, steam room, and body scrub area is, and nudity is pretty much the norm, but personally I found it even more relaxing and liberating… then you go to the co-ed area where you find the cafeteria and the saunas, there are 3 dry saunas and a rest area to take a nap. The saunas are great, my favorite one being the salt sauna, it’s just different and 10x more relaxing. Now the cons: personally I did not like the cafeteria, yes it is spacious with plenty of games to choose from but the options to eat were very limited especially if you are vegan like me. There is a grab and go area where I only found fruit to eat and all the other stuff was not properly labeled, making it difficult to really understand what it was and if it was safe to eat for me, also, the person in customer service did have no idea what she was talking about, I even talked in Spanish with her because clearly English was not her first language and she did not understand what vegan means or how to really help me pick something to eat I ended up having a smoothie which was delicious but not enough.. I starved on my visit to the spa making us leave early to grab something to eat… only for that reason I’m giving 3 stars. Otherwise it is a great place to go with your loved one or even alone ngl
