I can’t say enough good things about the Spa at The Plaza! My husband and I had a couples massage and it was pure heaven. My therapist, Rita, gave the best massage I’ve ever had. She used perfect pressure, worked on spots that needed extra attention from being skipped over by other therapists, and her technique worked wonders! I only wish I lived close so I could visit more frequently! Janina and Celeste at the front desk were so kind and welcoming as well. All around a great experience!

This is my second time at the spa and love the experience. Janina at the front desk does a great job of orchestrating the experience and Karina did a great job on my mani/pefi. Great spa vibes and wonderful staff!

I had a wonderful experience at the Spa at the Plaza today. They were warm and welcoming from reception to massage and relaxation area following. Gabriela my massage therapist had a firm but therapeutic touch and she was extremely warm and accommodating. Would recommend the Spa and look forward to returning again.

Had a couple's massage with my wife and it was phenomenal! Rita and Gabriela 2024DB0 were fantastic and very knowledgeable; they were both very informative regarding all their services and took great care in making sure we knew that they were there to accommodate our needs. The ladies at the front desk, Celeste and Gloria, we're very kind and helpful! Looking forward to our next stay here.

I had such an amazing experience here. I booked a facial and massage for my birthday. The concierge service by Janina was a nice touch to make me feel special. My esthetician (Jaclyn) and my massage therapist (Ara) were lovely; would absolutely recommend them. All in all, a very pleasant experience!

My husband and I received a couples massage at the Plaza San Antonio Spa with Rita and Crabi as our masseuses. They were such a blessing. The products they used were amazing. We will definitely be back! The front desk ladies-Janina & Celeste took great care of us. They introduced us to the Best hot tea made just for the spa- a must try!

Our experience at the San Antonia Plaza Hotel Spa was amazing! We were greeted by Janina, who was warm and welcoming and made sure we were ready and comfortable. We had a delicious cup of natural tea which she brewed and was naturally sweetened. It was delicious. We booked a couple’s massage and we were introduced to Gabi and Rita who took care of us. Gabi explained a few upgrade options which was a foot scrub with desert sage and a cbd cream face massage, which we opted for. We had the best massages we have ever had - a head to toe relaxation experience. Gabi and Rita gave us incredible massages. After the massage, we enjoyed the Zen room with red light therapy for my face and my husband enjoyed the therabody leg compression machine. We lay on warming blankets and drank our sparkling wine. Overall a very enjoyable pre-holiday experience.

The Spa front desk team (Janina and Celeste) were super friendly and made us feel very comfortable before and after our massage. They easily answered our questions and were super helpful with billing. The massage team (John and Pam) provided a fantastic couples massage for my wife and I while we spent a few days relaxing in San Antonio. I would highly recommend them both if you ever have a chance to visit the Spa while staying at the Plaza Hotel.

This was hands down theeee best massage I ever had! Everything was 10 stars hands down. Janina the front desk receptionist elevated our experience to another level. I was celebrating my birthday and she made it so special. My masseuse John, I’m speechless. I have trouble in tower back area and he hit every spot. My husband had Gabriella and had exceptional things to say about her as well. I truly want to thank these 3 for a memorable birthday.

Very nice property - clean, modern rooms and facilities. Spa, (outdoor) pool and outside bar area are very nice. 07:30am tea service at the on-site spa. Convenient for convention center and Riverwalk albeit 1/2 mile away. My minor frustrations were expensive valet and an inability to self adjust the in-room a/c which, would be a huge issue for me during the hotter months.

What a wonderful spa experience my husband and I had! He had a massage and I had everything - facial, treatment & massage. Gabriela and Natalie were our assigned therapists and both were fabulous. Make sure to have Natalie give you a scalp massage - heaven! She also gave me a lovely facial. Beautifully done and the products were great. And Gabi’s massage was one of the best we’ve ever had (and we get massages often) - she’s a pro! Also, nice amenities while you’re waiting like red light therapy masks. And all the other staff you engage with are lovely. Finally, the grounds of the hotel are beautiful and add to the overall escape experience. 10 out of 10.

Absolutely amazing staff and service! The staff go through extensive training and are very well knowledged in their skills. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and at peace. I would recommend them to anyone looking to treat themselves in the san antonio area!! Gabi did my treatment and Janina at the front desk was very informative & pleasant :)

From the moment I stepped in, Janina made the experience feel warm, relaxing, and special. Thank you, Janina for your welcoming spirit! Once in the treatment room for a much needed massage, John worked magic on my crunchy neck and shoulders. He is a phenomenal practitioner and knew exactly how to break up all the knots. As I write this, a few hours after the session, all the previously crunchy pain (pre-massage) is gone, and I'm so relaxed. John, I'm so grateful to you. Thank you!

TLDR; 10/10 experience John and Ara were AMAZING. Definitely recommend. Now I’m gonna break down our entire experience, as I relax by the pool after my massage. Parking: just a little FYI the most convenient is having your vehicle valeted at the hotel, the Plaza ($15). But an alternative is the parking garage next to Box Street All Day. I believe it’s advertised as the Hemisfair parking garage (max $18 parking all day if you’re in the area) On arrival we handed our vehicle off to valet and headed into the hotel. There is plenty of signage pointing you to the spa. We were greeted by an employee of the hotel (didn’t catch her name but she was very nice). She walked us to the courtyard area and pointed us to the spa, located right between the pool and A second bar. Intake was smooth, I recommend showing up 15 minutes prior as requested. Once intake forms are finished the reception will guide you to the locker rooms. You will be provided a robe and sandals then you will have wind down time in the relaxation zone with complimentary therapies. This is where your 15 minutes earlier comes in to play. I won’t say that we were rushed but our masseuses were ready for us before being able to enjoy this area. On to the massage, we did a Veterans Day BOGO couple’s massage and oh my god this was by far the best massages I've ever had. Communication goes a long way here. I hurt my lower back in the military, so I suffer from chronic pain. John focused on the areas I pointed out to him. The oils used were also great with them giving you different options to choose from. When you are done you have the option to relax by the pool. This property is beautiful and the spa is RELAXING. Definitely recommend if you are considering a massage.

I had a lovely experience today at The Spa at Plaza hotel. Janina was so welcoming and informative about treatment options. She is a first class hostess, truly. My therapist was Rita and she was fabulous. Very intuitive. She knew just when to apply more pressure, when to be softer, how to get in all of the “places” that needed her amazing touch. I was comfortable and cared for the entire time. Thank you for enhancing my stay in San Antonio. 🙏☮️💜.

What an amazing experience! My husband and I were simply celebrating life, and enjoying a long weekend so we treated ourselves with treatments at the spa at Plaza San Antonio. I’ve been telling everyone about our experience ever since! Janina greeted us warmly, got us checked in and situated with ease. Natalie was my esthetician and had the most gentle, relaxing touch on my face. She was super patient when my teen sons kept calling to ask random questions. She gave a direct, yet compassionate review of the state of my skin and recommended next steps, including an exfoliating mask that she used. I snapped it right up; my skin was glowing so that I wore very little make up for the rest of the weekend! Literally wish I could afford to see her more regularly! Gabi handled my husband’s 80-minute deep tissue massage like a champ and was even able to work out the arthritic pain he’d been experiencing all week long. He was grinning ear to ear when we reconnected after our treatments. The entire experience was $$$ but the service and the atmosphere matched the price tag! If you’re looking to treat yourself, this is the place to do it!

I spent a fantastic day at the Plaza Hotel & Spa! I was looking to relax and cool off. The staff, Janina & Celeste, were very welcoming and went over and beyond to make my experience exceptional. Daisy’s pedicure was perfect and she is super kind. I spent many hours relaxing by the pool and the service was great. I live in San Antonio and my afternoon at the spa and pool was exactly the ‘staycation experience’ I needed. I will be returning again!

This was a 10/10 experience! From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, every staff member was 100% attentive and you can see that customer service for them is a priority. Janina and Gloria assisted us with explaining all they had to offer and what we were to expect. Janina even brought my boyfriend a delicious cake for his birthday after our massage! John and Gabi were our amazing massage therapists. They explained each process, understood what our concerns and needs were, and walked us through all of the little details they provided for us. I will absolutely be coming back!

Back to the real world after our amazing stay at the Marriott , Plaza (Autograph Collection) Hotel & Spa. I highly recommend the hotel and the spa. The hotel staff (janina&celeste) & (gabi&queta) are so friendly and outgoing. The valet were so kind and attentive on getting us accompanied in a timely manner. The hotel is set on a luxurious lot and the grounds, rooms, bar areas , pool, restaurant were top notch. All the food / drinks were eclectic and would well satisfy any palate. I loved everything we tried. It was such a great stay. We travel quite a lot and we love to experience spa treatments. At the spa, Gabriela was above and beyond, definitely a 5 star rating. She has been practicing for 20plus years and it was evident in her technique and so knowledgeable and wanted me to have the best experience. I will always book her when we stay at the hotel. One of the best massages I have ever had. Thank you, Gabriela, can’t wait for the next time.
