The Stone Fox Salon and Spa provides luxury hair and spa services for every human backed by decades of experience and ongoing education. We are a green circle certified sustainable salon which means we recycle all salon waste including single use items such as gloves, highlighting foils and excess hair color. Our salon specializes in curly textures and balayage. Our spa specializes in custom facials and eyelash extensions. We believe in clean beauty lines that are vegan, sustainable, plant-based, biodegradable, natural fragrances, and fair trade. We are woman and LGBTQ+ owned. We offer silent appointments upon request.

I've been going to Salem exclusively for the past three years now for haircuts and balayage, and I leave feeling ecstatic about my hair every time! I'm so happy she's had the opportunity to open her own salon. The Stone Fox, like Salem, is so very cool and welcoming. I'm happy to be a client!

Shayla came highly recommended to us from several folks in West Seattle, and she surpassed all expectations. I made an appointment with her for my daughter who has long very curly hair. It's been SO difficult to find someone that can cut and style her hair, and it's left her distrustful of all hairstylists. But, Shayla listened carefully and spent so much time with us. She is talented and experienced (and funny) and my daughter left (for the first time!) so happy with her curly hair. A huge thank you to Shayla! We will 100% be back again and again.

Anne was amazing she completely nailed my inspiration photo! The salon was modern with a touch of cozy well loved pieces. To say I will be returning is an understatement. I felt nestled into a little community vibe and connected with both of the stylists. I love it here! Photos of inspiration and me.

I’ve been going to Shayla for several years and just visited her new salon in the Alaska Junction for the time a few weeks ago. As always, I got a cute and stylish cut and had a fun time talking with Shayla. She’s a talented and creative stylist who’s now running her own beautiful and welcoming salon, a winning combination! Highly recommended!

Salem did an incredible job with my hair! I have been struggling to find someone who knows how to work with my wavy/curly hair and Salem listened and gave me the best cut I’ve had in years!! My hair looks and feels amazing I will absolutely be returning!

Shayla/Salem has been my and my husband’s hairdresser now for almost three years. She is an amazing hairdresser and colorist and is great with men’s and all short cuts, as well as my long hair! She has recently opened this salon and it’s a beautiful space and wonderful addition to West Seattle. Salem and Anne are both fantastic stylists! Can’t say enough good things about them…5 stars!!
