I needed a quick blow dry. I was in a pinch. Lisa fit me in last minute. She was kind to me. She was very sweet and understanding with me. I was lucky enough to be matched with Ricardo “Ricky” who should teach a master class on blow drying. The staff was lovely. The place is beautiful. I went to a wedding, danced and sweated all night. My hair still looked perfect. Everyone was asking me who did my hair because it looked great throughout the whole evening. I’m so happy I came here and found this place. Unfortunately, I am having to write this review because the environment here is no longer welcoming like it used to be. I have been coming here for about 6 years and the treatment my family and I have been receiving from the receptionist is appalling. And this was not her first time being rude to us, but it is now certainly the last. We will not be returning. The receptionist messed up our appointment date, got the kind of appointment wrong, and then blamed us for her mistakes. She tried covering it up and was very disrespectful to us rather than just apologizing for the miscommunication. Be warned that she has no decorum or customer service skills. She will try to embarrass you and blame you in front of other customers and employees to cover up her mistakes. The one star is for the environment and the receptionist. Kelly and the other stylists are wonderful, but it is not worth the toxic environment.

Told a few friends about the Strand Beauty Lounge, the owner Kelly is wonderful and her staff is incredible! This is the go to spot in Weston, Florida if you want to look wonderful. They specialize in coloring, balayage, and blonding. There's a reason they have such amazing reviews across all platforms for hair and salons in Weston. Highly recommend!

I cannot express how amazing this salon is! The entire staff is super friendly and attentive and the owner Kelly is ah-mazing! I came into this salon looking for a miracle and new stylist since I had severely damaged and overprocessed hair. Amy was so attentive and advised me that the owner Kelly would be taking care of me. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by everyone and you can see teamwork. Kelly listened to me very carefully and explained everything. She worked patiently on my hair giving me full attention, which is something other salons have not done. Two times later and my hair is EXACTLY the color I have wanted for years, but was never able to achieve elsewhere. I found my new salon!!

Strand Beauty is NOT curly girl friendly or it could just be this stylist Rose who I will never forget. I attached pictures as I’m on my way to get 3 inches of my hair cut off to repair the chemical damage she caused. I asked for honey blonde color and a trim. She tried to dye my Black hair blonde with a red color no bleach...while bleach was on my ends for an hour. Put an orange toner to correct the ends which were yellow. Then she gave me ringlets with her finger and proceeded to cut my hair in that style! My hair is 4 different colors and jagged. She gave me a refund after blaming me for not telling her how people have colored my hair in the past. That’s not professional at all and I trusted her.

The owner is dirty with her prices! She will show you a price and a breakdown, and then at checkout, she will charge you extra for using "more product" for doing the same job! The stylist left the toner in too long and turned my hair a dirty-looking gray instead of a pale blonde, and babylights were completely gone. She then corrected her own mistake and charged me for the issue. Also, reapplying product while the client is processing is not an extra product; it is considered overhead, and you are doing a good job of meeting the client's expectations that you are already charging! The owner's excuse is that they have a scale, and any extra product not accounted for when they first mix is the client's responsibility. What a tacky joke! Also, the stylist blew out my hair to see the end result, and the owner ran back to ask her if she did a blowout to try to charge extra. The owner looks to make a dollar anywhere she can. She's a tacky business owner. The average age in this salon is 75, so if you want the latest trends and transparency, then look elsewhere!

I always feel at home when visiting The Strand. The professionals are outstanding and Kelly makes sure we walk out looking beautiful and relaxed! Tracy is the best for mani-pedi, I met her 10+ yrs ago and would follow her anywhere! My hair is healthy and beautiful thanks to Kelly and Isa and of course all the kindness and pampering from Alex. Amazing staff, great place overall.

I have been coming to this salon for over 7 years now and I never leave disappointed. Kelly is the absolute BEST! There’s no one else that I trust with my hair then her. She always knows exactly how to style my hair and never cuts off more than I ask. She cuts, blow drys, and dyes hair to perfection. I highly recommend coming to this salon and if you can, book with Kelly.

I’ve been looking for a good stylist for years. So happy I found the strand beauty lounge, Isa had me come in for a consultation which already gave me a great expectation. We’ll finally went in last Saturday and got my hair done. It came out so beautiful I’m honestly obsessed, my husband was the most skeptical about it because of how damaged it had been in the past due to another stylist and he loved. I’ve received so many compliments, can’t wait to go back 🥰 highly recommend!

Gloria was amazing! I have very thick hair. I had previously went to another salon who was careless and didn’t put any effort into my haircut. Gloria saved my hair in time for Christmas. She listened to what I wanted and helped me with what she thought would look good. She made me not look like lord farquaad anymore !!! I was actually able to style my hair without heat . Looks beautiful!

Have been coming here for years & refuse to go elsewhere. Karina is an absolute genius when it comes to coloring & styling hair & achieving the results you want while still maintaining it in good health. She’s the only person I trust doing my balayage. However, everyone there is great at their job & extremely friendly & professional. The salon is gorgeous & has a great vibe.
