I have been a client of the Studio for 5 years and have walked away every time feeling pampered! Adam takes the time to listen to your vision and talks through his expert recommendations based on your face shape, hair color, etc. I love how he teaches how to style my hair if I get a new cut. It’s always a wonderful experience. Can’t recommend the Studio enough!

I’ve been a regular with Christina at The Studio for years now, and she never disappoints. She consistently delivers an excellent cut (which is hard to find for men with curly hair), a sharp beard trim and lineup, and all with the convenience of an ideal location. Plus, she’s quick and efficient and a great price!

After my go to barber and stylist of 6 years moved further away, I struggled to find a new place that fit just right. Once I found Christina, I never plan to go to anyone else in LA! I’ve been going to Christina now for almost three years and every single time she has left me feeling so refreshed, new and is genuinely one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I couldn’t recommend this spot and Christina enough!

I 100% loved my experience at The Studio and look forward to my next visit! I was looking to do something completely out of my comfort zone and was excited but a little nervous when I showed up to my appointment. Adam Kenney was my hairstylist, and he was exactly what I needed. He was engaging and honest about my choice of cut, and his energy was overall fun and positive with a great singing voice! However, what I appreciated the most was that he walked me through every step, easing my nerves and making my experience perfect. I love my hairstyle, thank you, Adam!!

I can't say enough good things about Kimberly! They are incredibly talented and have a real eye for what looks good. I recently got my haircut, and I'm absolutely in love with it. They took the time to understand what I wanted and offered helpful suggestions. The salon is also clean and welcoming. I highly recommend Kimberly to anyone looking for a skilled and friendly stylist.

I tried several other barbers after moving to L.A.—Christina saved me from my previous, unfortunate haircut, and has been cutting my hair ever since. She makes my hair look the way I want it to look even when I have trouble describing it, remembers what I like, and makes whatever adjustments I ask for. I have not let anyone else cut my hair in years!

I've been going to Christina for YEARS and I would never go to anyone else! She's so talented and I always have a fun time in her chair. The atmosphere at the studio is welcoming and upbeat, and is part of the east-side community. There's always new art and plants to see and a beverage to pass the time. This place is amazing. I got my haircut by Sweeney and she was absolutely perfect. I was a little un sure of what I wanted to do and she took the time to work with me and create a look I felt comfortable with. She was efficient and friendly. It made the experience really awesome. This was the first time I had ever gone to ALK and it did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend going and requesting a cut by Sweeney.

When I was first introduced to Christina Mack I was told she gives the best fade in LA. 5+ years later and this still holds true! Outside of being an incredible hair stylist, Christina is so kind, fun, and easy to talk to. The studio itself is a nice space, and offers drinks while getting waiting or getting your hair cut. Would definitely recommend Christina Mack!

I have had services in many salons in the LA area. The first visit usually goes well, but then the cuts and colors turn awful. Finally I have found Adam at The Studio on Sunset. Hooray!! His cuts are just what I desire each time. His highlights last for at least nine months!! I’ve been a customer for three years now, and look forward to each visit.

I started coming here after my friend recommended her hairstylist to me. I was a bit nervous about trying something new but Emmanuel was great. He explained everything thoroughly. Was so sweet and honest about my hair coloring. I also went a bit shorter and I ABSOLUTELY love it. I get compliments on my hair all the time. The salon is very clean and everyone is very nice. I’m so happy with Emmanuel’s work. He’s just amazing.

This hair salon is my fav in LA. I’ve been going for a few years. I get blowouts, hair cuts, and my kid gets their hair dyed here. The products they use are so good, too! I’m super picky with my hair I like attention to detail and the stylist here deliver.

This is my spot! It’s located in one of my favorite neighborhoods in LA, surrounded by coffee shops and bars, and that makes sense because everyone here is down to earth, they understand a variety of styles and hair types and they know how to hold a good conversation. If you live in the neighborhood there's no reason you shouldn't be getting hooked up here. If you live 30+ minutes or farther away, it’s worth the traffic. Make the trip, get the snip, and look legit.

I'm writing a review for my hair experience with Aaron at The Studio. I came here in December 2021 and I had such a lovely experience I had to come back and share w everyone My 1st impression walking into the Studio was that it was clean and organized. I spoke with Aaron ahead of time to make an appointment. When I got there, there was another client getting their haircut w Adam. There was large sufficient space fo social distancing and that made me feel comfortable. To be honest, Aaron is the 1st stylist I personally felt like I could be myself around, they were a great conversationalist and also made me comfortable to sit in silence (I came after a long day at work) while they played Adele lol This was my 1st experience dyeing my hair and I did frontal pink streaks. It's been more than a month now and my streaks turned blonde (as expected), nonetheless I'm still in love w my look! The dyeing process was straightforward. During the washing process, Aaron used a shampoo on me (I believe the brand was Seven) and it smelled amazing. I honestly left the salon feeling refreshed and cute. My hair is still healthy after dyeing it and I feel like I was in good hands overall. I had a 10/10 experience and look forward to coming back :)

My first experience here has been by far the best experience in my life. Ms.Christina Mack took my hair to a whole new level. Never went back to my old barber!!! I definitely recommend!!!!!!
