As someone who loves to frequent luxury spas such as the Phoenician and Fairmont Princess spas in Scottsdale, I have to say I was very impressed with the customer service I received at The Underground Spa. I was nervous to book a facial here because I saw most reviews were about the massages. I loved the facial I received from Maddie. She went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met. The only improvement the facility can make is to add a sauna, jacuzzi/vitality pool for spa guests only, and a steam room so there are other amenities to enjoy besides the relaxation room. If I’m ever in the area again, I will be sure to book another service here.

Came here to get beat up (a massage) and i thoroughly enjoyed myself! Amenities were super lovely, staff were kind and helpful. I’ll definitely return with more stress to get beat up (a massage) again!

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary with a couples massage and had an overall stellar experience! While the front desk associate could have been a bit more welcoming, the amenities were top-notch. Our masseuses, Jen and another individual whose name I don’t recall, were exceptional. Both were warm, attentive, and highly skilled. I received a deep tissue massage, and my partner opted for a lighter relaxation massage. We both felt that the personalized care and professionalism they provided made the experience truly memorable.

This is a wheelchair accessible spa. The staff are incredible and care for our needs. The bathroom is also accessible but the showers are not designed that well. They don’t have a hook or place to hold a towel. The roll-in shower does not have a good section to store ones wheelchair or keep it dry. I am very happy with the massage services. They do an incredible job at attending to our needs and creating a great service.

I had an amazing time at the spa. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. The staff were attentive and friendly. I really liked the relaxation area, where they have cozy chairs and peaceful music to help you wind down. A big shout-out to Kayla at the front desk, who showed me around the spa. She is so friendly and takes great care of you! We love a very demure sister! I definitely recommend this spa and will be back.

I purchased a Masaage which included a day pass on resort pass. I had to wait for the lady to come back to the check in desk. She wasn’t too friendly or welcoming and really didn't show me anything. Fitness center was nice , there was a senior aerobics class in the pool ——- not relaxing at all apparently got its only on Wednesday. I had ordered breakfast to the pool it wasn’t an easy process but over all the food was just ok. Pool is really small and there is not a lot of space by the lounges so you can’t really rest there. When it was time for my massage the lady that showed me to the locker room Claribel was super warm and friendly. She showed me all around and I was able to shower, relax, and then my massage by Lanez was everything #shedidthat There were multiple things that just made the whole experience less enjoyable especially the aerobics class, rust on the trashcan and a not so clean restroom, windows need to be cleaned, pool deck was so wet and full of hair. Definitely has potential.

This was my first massage and the experience was great. Alexa was an amazing therapist and made me feel super comfortable and cared for. Both ladies who helped me at the front desk were also extremely kind. The atmosphere was very relaxing, calm, and clean. I really enjoyed the relaxation area and complimentary glass of champagne and chocolate after my service. Highly recommend!

My son treated me to a spa day as a birthday gift at the Underground Spa & Wellness. We were greeted by this young lady who I failed to get her name but her smile just lit the room up. She was very warm and welcoming and provided the best customer service. My massage therapist was a young lady named Kenyatta (sp?) I’m sure I spelled that wrong. This young lady was absolutely AMAZING. She took her time and provided the best, most relaxing massage ever. Her aura was very calming. My son also, received a massage by the same young lady with the beautiful smile who greeted us and he had only great things to share of the experience. Would highly recommend the underground. And to management, you have an amazing group of women working there making it feel very inviting.

I booked a couples massage to start a getaway weekend. The lounge, massage rooms, and changing rooms were all very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The massage itself was exactly what we were looking for—extremely relaxing. I wish we could’ve booked for longer than 80 minutes! The only downside was being underwhelmed by the pool—we expected it to be a warm, relaxing saltwater pool to match the spa/massage experience, but the water was frigid for an indoor pool. Overall, highly recommend the massages/spa experience!

I’m very happy I found this place! Very clean. They have all the elements that make the massage and price worth it- A relaxing room to relax in before and after massage, the tea, the sound and right lighting, the locker room. I went at just the right time where there’s not a lot of people because it was heaven! I’m definitely coming back. The professionalism was top notch. Very accommodating.

Service wasn’t really great for the price. Don’t waste your time and money.. staff was ver unaccommodating. Called to let them know we were running late and they said it was fine got 20 mins out of our 50 mins massage for 175.00!!! They weren’t upfront with the policy.. waste of time and money.

The spa manager and staff are welcoming, awesome and super helpful. My facial and massage made me feel like a brand new person. As an out of town visitor I wanted the best spa experience in Philly and Underground is just that. Cannot wait to go back.

I took the whole family - 6 of us - for a group spa day as a group Christmas present - we had the best time! The spa is beautiful - it is underground, and a bit of a rabbit warren, but there's a gorgeous group room with refreshments, locker room, and all of the treatment rooms were quite luxurious. Everyone got to choose 3 different treatments - and all were wonderful. The staff is caring, skilled and kind. We had a couple of first-timers in the group - who were somewhat anxious - and they are now complete converts! We'll be back - self-care of the best kind,

Spent a Sunday afternoon relaxing after using the fitness center. The fitness center has a great selection of weight and cardio machines. The pool looked refreshing (but had just been shocked….kinda cloudy that day). The relaxation room is dim, calming, smells great, and is cozy. Biscoff cookies! The nirvana massage was adequately named, the 80 min treatment was heavenly. The locker room had two shower stalls, lockers (electronic locks) two bathroom stalls and extra necessities (toothbrushes, tampons, etc) Will definitely return

The people are great...services are great depending on who you get. The esthetician who completed my body scrub was an angel, but my massage therapist was good but not great. The rooms for service are great, but the public places are a bit too dirty and unkempt. The customer service with the other employees was amazing. The shower in the women's bathroom was spacious, but parts of the wall had broken off. The price was a little steep for the place, but I'm still glad we got to get a massage and body scrub.

This was my 5th visit to the spa. Cheryl was AMAZING. She was my massage therapist last year when I came during school break. She remembered details about our conversation. She gave a very relaxing scalp massage at the beginning that transported me right to tranquility. The hot towel massage melted away stress and relaxed the muscles. Her attention to detail and careful questioning ensured that my experience was pleasant. I will return and request Cheryl all the time.
