I had a wonderful experience here! I have 3C/4A hair and the stylist, Kiki was super knowledgeable and helpful. They make sure to sit down with you and discuss your hair texture and hair needs before the cut and I really appreciated that. She did a dry cut first which I’ve never had before. She really evened out my uneven layers. I really recommend this place to others and will come back!

Wonderful experience for our daughters first haircut. She has curly hair and we were worried but they were wonderful. Catie and Ally were great. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.

Bridget did such an amazing job on my curly/wavy hair. She was very kind and professional and really knows her stuff about cutting curly hair. She was very attentive to my wants for my hair and provided her own insight that made my hair perfect. Can't wait to go back!

The time allotted for styles isn’t really designed for Type 4 or very dense hair. I wish that it was more clear when booking how to schedule enough time for your specific goals. For example, I only learned after my appointment that I would need to schedule a premium style if I wanted the stylist to spend more time defining my hair. I think this really depends on hair type though so it’s hard to know what to book from the website. However, I appreciate the salon’s flexibility. I was hoping to have my hair blow dried but the time set for the appointment did not allow my hair to get anywhere near straight (even with the time being extended slightly). Annalise was able to take me the next day to adjust my hair. She gave me a great wash and spent a long time detangling my hair. She listened to my concerns and sectioned my hair exactly how I asked!

The Up and Up Salon is a beautiful and intimate hair studio located in the grove. My experience was fabulous and inviting, and will be my new salon moving forward. Erin and her associates made sure I felt at home, gave me a tour of the premises, as well as educated me through every step of the process. My ideas with my hair cut were feasible and Erin made sure to give me reassurance that my hair goals were achievable. There was no pushing products or services that didn’t apply to me, the recommendations were on point, and I highly recommend you give this place a try.

Absolutely Love Destiny!! I recommend her to any curly haired girl. She’s understanding of your needs and I always walk out w a great haircut/style. She really takes her time to make sure you have the best experience. I’ve also brought my young daughter to her. She was very patient w her. She’ll definitely be our family stylist for many more years to come.

Destiny was my stylist today! I felt listened to when I explained my hair wants/needs and she was able to accommodate them easily. We talked about products for hair as well as make up. Destiny’s commitment to product education is evident and very appreciated! I also got a recommendation for a great nail tech as well.

I got highlights and a haircut from Catie at Up & Up Salon, and she was truly amazing! I am thrilled with the results. This was my first visit to the salon, and I will definitely return. I haven't been this happy with my hair in a long time. Catie took the time to really understand what I was looking for and offered excellent advice. The highlight of my experience was the scalp massage and aromatherapy; it was incredibly relaxing.

I just had my second appointment with Sam and I couldn’t recommend her more! She makes sure I’m aware of everything she does, shares lots of helpful tips that I can use on a daily basis, and truly cares if you are pleased with the service provided. I will definitely continue to return to see her!

After over a decade of cutting my own hair, I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing The Up & Up salon! Catie did an amazing job on cutting my curls just right, and Gabrielle took care of my scalp and chose perfect products for styling. They explain every product they use in detail, and the proper way to use them. Thank you ladies so much for reviving my curls, helping my scalp irritation, and most of all relieving the anxiety of having someone else cut my hair!

Destiny always does the works for me!! She is a curl specialist but has help me with my journey from box dye black to my natural blonde color and now back to being dark!! She does the best cuts and is always super sweet!! 100% recommend her!

A friend told me about this salon so I recently booked my first appointment and it was.. amazing! Destiny was my hairstylist and not only did she make my hair look amazing but she got the job done in no time! I went to Emelyn and she did amazing!! I loved my long hair but wasn’t feeling put together and didn’t know how to style it so I booked an appointment. She cut it to the perfect length where it still feels long but really makes me feel beautiful and much more put together. she also taught me how to style my hair and answered all my questions!!! <3
