I love this hair salon! Josh is fantastic. The boutique salon atmosphere is wonderful, and the location is great with easy parking. Best of all, booking online is super convenient. Highly recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I went in there with badly butchered hair by previous hairstylist months ago, I came out feeling fantastic & 10 years younger. It was so refreshing to receive professional help in a calm manner & not feel rushed. Claudia listened to me with patience & made several recommendations. I received a fantastic haircut that brings out my curls. She taught me how to style it easily & what products could help me. I am very grateful to Claudia & will definitely return.

I’ve been going to Josh the Owner for several years now and he never fails to please. I have short hair. I’m now growing it. I’ve had perms. I’ve had color. It doesn’t matter. He knows exactly how to cut it.

I have been going to Laura for almost 2 years now and find this salon to be very affordable given the skill level of its stylists. Laura is also involved with the Paul Mitchell teaching school in Austin and knows SO MUCH about hair. I have very fine hair and she is the first person to give me a haircut that I feel really helps with volume. I also get highlights and have never had a stylist apply them so methodically. She is also so sweet. I am so glad that her son and daughter-in-law are the new owners as they are also very kind and seem to really care about where the salon is headed and making it the best that it can be.

Highly recommend this place! The owners are super friendly and most importantly they know what they’re doing behind the chair. I’ve been getting haircuts from Claudia for almost a year now and she has always delivered the styles I’ve asked for, her cuts exceed my expectations. The location is also convenient for anyone who lives in Mueller (but I’d make the commute even if I didn’t)

Claudia is THE best. I’ve been going to her for 4 years and have loved the experience every time. She saved my damaged hair with patience and expertise! Claudia is so great with her guests, she takes the time to listen and adds her guidance in a way that shows she cares. I’m even more excited that now she and her husband Josh are doing their own thing with The Valdez Salon … it’s going to be a huge success!
