Bo was amazing! I came in with level 3 dark hair and wanted to go a cherry cola red. He did a beautiful job. I’m super happy with it. If you want to go any shade of red, go to Bo!

I see Kayleigh and she is the best! The salon is beautiful and very comfortable, and Kayleigh is so friendly. She really listens to what you want and works with you to make sure she gives you the hair style you want. 10/10!

I saw Kayleigh a couple of weeks ago for a consult and followed up with a cut and color last week. She was realistic and honest about my wants versus what we could achieve. She also took the time to listen to what was important to me and frustrations with my hair. I am so thankful for her expertise and guidance, I could not be happier with the end results. This whole experience has given such a boost to my confidence and helped me love my hair again.

I cannot recommend Leila at The Velvet Mane enough! I've been getting my hair dyed blonde since I was a kid, and Leila is by far the best stylist I've ever had!! She has truly brought my hair back to life—it's so healthy and shiny now! Her passion for what she does shines through in her work. Kayleigh is the best for cuts and color. I have followed her around for 2 years. She’s sweet, kind, and does an excellent job. I have curly hair, and she’s given me better cuts than salons that specialize in cutting curls. Book with her!

Leila is the only person I trust to do my hair and to be honest if something I want is going to look ridiculous on me. I found her after I had horrible haircut and she made a 3 month plan on how to fix it. I have fine straight hair which I have found is harder to cut and any imperfection tends to stand out. Leila does an incredible job every single time! She even made me feel confident enough to try Balayage and found the best tones to highlight my hair color and skin. I can never go back now! The Velvet Mane is a gorgeous space. Highly recommend!

My stylist Stephanie is wonderful. She can magically transform my dry curly hair into a shiny mane! She is great with color and cuts. She listens super well and takes her time. First off the salon is GORGEOUS. I got a color and cut done by Stephanie and she was amazing. She did a thorough consultation and took the time to understand what I wanted. I will absolutely be rebooking. 10/10 salon experience.

Leila is a hair Angel. I have thick and curly Moroccan hair and it’s hard to find someone who truly can work with my hair because most salons don’t know how to handle hair like mine. Leila was recommended to me by a coworker who also has Moroccan hair and Leila has worked wonders with my hair. She is the only stylist in Charlotte I will see going forward. Thank you Leila 🥰

Making appointments online is super easy, parking is great, and the general atmosphere inside is really cool. I found Stephanie L at another salon then was lucky enough to follow her here. I get lots of layers for my thick hair and her attention to detail is unmatched. Also she gives the best scalp massage ever when she shampoos!! Absolutely cannot recommend her enough
