My girlfriend and I both got facials yesterday. The ones we selected stated there would be a face and neck massage. What we received was a few pats on the cheeks and slight touch of the neck. Perhaps I am ignorant to the level of expectation regarding what a face and neck massage would be. Other than that, the esthetician was gentle and professional. I can't say the same for the person at the front desk. In the process of buying a gift certificate, I was insulted by the comment and borderline accusation that I was a cheater because I wasn't buying the gift certificate for my girlfriend. The gift certificate was for my niece whom I had brought there last year and her birthday is coming up. The unnecessary comment really soured the experience for me. I drove from Villa Park to go this establishment as a form of neighborhood loyalty to that area that I lived in for years. I still get my haircuts more than a few times a year around there, George & S, lovely people! My dentist is down the block, Medhat Dental Excellence, the best in the city, in my opinion. This person, 1 person and 1 comment, showed that there is lack of understanding when it comes to professionalism to ALL your clients. Perhaps, my niece will have a better experience when she decides to use the gift certificate. Otherwise, I would be very upset to have spent $350 there when I could've spent it on something my niece, my girlfriend and I, would've enjoyed more.

I’ve been to this spa numerous times and have a few different services and all of them have been wonderful. However, I made an appointment for a seaweed wrap and a massage for my birthday and to my surprise, they had only scheduled me for a seaweed wrap. While disappointed, I understand mistakes happen, but I received no apologies. No trying to right their wrong. I called and spoke to a manager, Vivian, a few days later. While she was apologetic, she said she would call me back later that day after she spoke with the owner (who I originally asked to speak to). It is has been 3 days since and I still have not received a call back. It’s very disappointing that this place that employs talented people to preform services, will lose this customer due to lack of customer service.

Small local gem of a spa. Clean and comfortable. I think it was Vivian at front desk and Ann at door when I arrived - both were friendly and very nice! Ann was my massage therapist. She's a small lady but don't let that fool you - very strong with so much energy! Very nice experience overall!

The worst spa in the world. Worst service and worst woman working on front desk. They made an appointment for me and when I came there was no one. In the end, they moved me for the next day, and when I came, that grandmother was so rude and disgusting, and she didn't want to talk normally. The worst experience in the world. they ruined my day, and my birthday, and everything. I just have to add that you are liars, that I called you that day, no one answered and no one was at work during their working hours.

This review is solely for a facial service provided. Staff was accommodating for the short notice and amicable. Facial itself was underwhelming and concerning. Booked a European facial which was listed for a certain price. Once in the room the premise itself did not appear as clean and sterile as it should be. The process felt rushed and other than being told I would get a “scrub down” I wasn’t given a proper explanation of what the process was based on my skin type. Woman was friendly but was using her phone and touching my face at the same time without disinfecting in between. She was rough on my skin when applying and removing products. She proceeded to scapel my face and use a micro needle device on certain spots but did not disclose that I would be charged for additional services. I noticed the micro needle roller was placed back into storage without being sanitized first. On top of all of this the products being used were low budget including a serum from the ordinary. I am all for affordable self care but when paying for professional service I expect professional grade products be applied . It was the most un relaxing facial I have received and left looking more haggard than I did when I walked in not to mention the scabs left on my face. There is now what looks to be bump on my face from excessive/incorrect proding that I hope to god goes away. When I went to pay the total was more than what was advertised. If you are going to charge for additional services you have to ask a client first if this is something they agree to pay for as opposed to just doing it without price disclosures. She tugged, scrubbed, pinched, scapeled, micro needled, and used electro current all in one sitting. That is far too much for the most sensitive skin on your body. I would not come back again.

I have been going to European Spa for 13 yrs and always get a fantastic massage. Anne and Vivian are so nice to me and make me feel at home! I have moved 80 minutes away or I would visit more often. Herb

I strongly advise against this place or lost 80 $ just for 15 / minutes of delay and I was not given any chance to be able to do it another day little professionalism and zero availability if I could give zero I would have gladly not recommended

Our Church with a party of 9 came and they said that they couldn’t accommodate us , because of no communication well we emailed a signed contract and talked to them. They didn’t honor anything of the contract or any communications even though we had proof

Went with a friend for a couples massage and it was the best massage experience we have both ever had. The ladies were very friendly and knew which areas to focus on. The rooms are very relaxing and calming. The front desk assistant is nice as well. Will definitely go back when I visit the city.

There is one massage therapist that is terrific- however- due to the OVERWHELMING use of toxic fragranced candles and air fresheners - it is impossible for me (who has asthma) to be in their spa. Why would you NOT use essential oils and herbs at a spa????

Absolutely wonderful experience. I had facial, tinting of eyebrows and lashes done. Hanadi is very pleasant and knowledgeable professional esthetician. I also had full body massage which was another great experience. I was so tense and had hurtful pressure points. After the massage I felt so relaxed and pain free.
