They do not know how to do curly hair and I had to show her how to do it the correct way. Do not go to them if you have tight curls because the woman that supposedly “knows how to do curly hair” did not do it the correct way! She then proceeds to tell me she feels uncomfortable but how do you think I would feel since you literally just played in my hair instead of actually styling it. I had to leave the salon with my hair just soaking wet.

I've had services from Kelle and she's an absolute gem. She's talented and I always have a great time in her chair. She's helped me bring my ideas to life, and during my last cut I just told her to help me look cool. She delivered! I feel like I look cool and I've gotten so many compliments since my last visit!

Heather is the best! Not only is she an incredible hair professional, but also an amazing person. Super talented & sweet. I will never go to anyone but her for my hair needs whenever in San Diego. I have curly, unruly hair and she tackles it like a pro. Thanks for everything Heather! :) Highly recommend!

I have been going here for about a 2 years now. And I have yet to be disappointed. I have very crazy curly hair that is black as black can get. Heather helped me understand how hair works, the difference in hair shapes for my face, how to take care of my hair to keep the curls looking their best, she'll ask me about my products and help me understand what they're all doing. She works with my hair and I am so happy I found her. It's so very hard to find good hair people - not just people who are able to help me understand my hair but actually do it, cut it well and help me maintain it - and I have found my person!

Max was amazing from start to finish and honestly the best cut and color I’ve experienced in San Diego! I highly recommend Maxwell Jarvis! Every time I've gone here, it's been a great experience. Talented, knowledgeable and professional staff. And reasonable prices! But be aware, it is in the city and parking can be an issue if you're not lucky.
