I got my hair permed here, and their prices are very reasonable with great quality！It’s pretty!!! My boyfriend has also had his hair cut here several times. They do an excellent job—he always looks so handsome after!

I've been getting my haircut here for a couple years and always have been happy. Thien remembers me when I call for an appointment. It reminds me of a personable small town place you would find in the Midwest but it's in Kirkland.

Thien has doen an amazing job on my fine, curly hair. I've struggled to find a stylist who will listen to what I want. Thien listens, then will tweak that request ever so slightly to ensure it's the best style for me.

I was visiting my daughter in Kirkland for a birthday event and wanted to get my hair done. I have seen Thien’s Hair Studio but had previously couldn’t get an appointment because of busy scheduling. I finally got an appointment on this trip. Ms. Lewis knew EXACTLY what I wanted. Short, very layered, low maintenance so I can finger style. I was so happy and when I got to the event at the hotel and back home to New York, I got so many compliments! Thank you so much. Whenever I visit Kirkland, you bet I’ll be stopping by Thien’s Hair Studio!

I was in the area after moving away 7 years ago and needed a quick trim. Dropped in and Thien was able to fit me in, and did an amazing job both evening out, trimming, and shaping my very thick, long, curly hair. Cost around $40, prices are posted at the counter/window. She does discounts for seniors which I think is great. Clearly cares about her customers, knows her craft. If I can pop in after 7 years and get a great and quick trim, and had great experiences when I lived in the area before, she deserves 5 stars. Don’t expect fancy salon vibes but a professional and kind human doing a great job cutting and styling hair at reasonable prices.

Always the best service and haircut! Thien is the best and so sweet, love supporting local (she grew up in Juanita area!) and been going to her for years. Now my family does too and somehow she remembers our stories! And, back to the haircut, Thien’s fantastic and somehow always manages to make my hair look fantastic despite how low maintenance I keep it. And always has the tips and product recommendations for whatever my hair is going through at the time like thinning, build up, etc. I don’t live here anymore but always save my haircut for when I’m in town visiting family. Will be going to her for years to come!

It’s always a bit of a gamble when trying out a new stylist to cut your hair. I’m glad I made that leap of faith a few years ago after reading reviews and asking friends for recommendations! I have had nothing but great experiences with Thien cutting and coloring my hair. My hair is long, very straight with medium texture. Thien added layers, texturized and provided a very flattering cut. She is also great with highlighting and color.

One extra star for taking me in as a walk in without an appointment on a busy day, but -3 stars for giving me one of the worst women’s hair cut of my life. At the start of my hair cut they asked me how I like to part it, asked me to part it and then didn’t change it at all throughout to even out the cut or nothing. Their thinning shears took any thickness and beauty from my straight Asian hair. This is not my first “no frills” hair salon visit and it won’t be my last but I’m def not coming back here.

Thien did an amazing job on my hair!! She knows what she's doing. It only took 15 minutes, and my hair feels much lighter and is very even now, and i love the layers! Definitely coming back!
