Blonde excerpt, don’t risk your hair anywhere else. I literally flew from Miami to Lynchburg several times just to go to Lotus and see the owner to do my hair. Trust me, I know how hard it is to not only get hair blonde but keep it healthy and Thomas knows both. Outstanding service, uses the best products too.

Brooklyn did an amazing job, HOWEVER I showed up to my next appointment and NO ONE was at the salon; the place was completely closed and the phone was ringing off the hook. I spoke with a girl named Deja the day of my appointment to confirm notes I had put in the online request form, and yet no one was to be found when I arrived that day for my silk press. That was two weeks ago, and not a phone call with an explanation or apology about the miscommunication. For a place that is supposed to make people feel beautiful, their unprofessionalism is SOOOO UGLY. This place keeps rebranding, name and location changing...I just can't keep up with their sporadic way of doing business, yikes!

I called on a Tuesday morning and was able to get not just myself in but also my 11 year old daughter. I told them I had a biracial daughter so needed someone who knows that hair. They pointed me to Deja and let me tell you Deja is an Angel. My daughter got a wash (which my daughter said felt so good) blow dry- flat iron and trim. Her hair has never looked so good. Then I got a wash trim and style and Deja did not disappoint. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners and he was super nice and very easy to talk to. I give Deja 5 stars.

I have been to this hair salon before formally known as Southern Roots but this second time in their new location was absolutely great I have no words really I honestly forgot where I was especially in the wash room I left feeling like a new woman that’s to my stylist Ceara forgive me if I spelled it wrong but I love the entire staff if you haven’t been I suggest you go ASAP definitely worth the money and experience in general❤️

I want to just put a shout out to The Lotus Beauty Bar! This place is the best! I go to Jessica Tanner there and let me tell you she does an awesome job never once has disappointed! She is not only a great hair stylist she is a wonderful person. I truly look forward to my next appointment, that’s how much I enjoy going and Jess hooks me up with keeping me look young and love talking and catching up with her it really makes my day!!

I'm not trying to bash a good rating on this place, but my review is based solely on the dissatisfaction of a recent customer, namely my 72 y.o. mother, whose regular hairdresser is no longer in the business and a friend of hers, recommended your establishment. She paid over $100 for a haircut with some color and left in shambles, but because she is too timid and shy, she didn't ask to speak to your manager. Although upon calling today to complain, she was told that there are "No refunds" and that someone else could touch up what they messed up, my mother even brought in a picture of what she wanted the day of her appointment. I was astonished at the end result, even though her hair is thinning, she had no body, her hair was flat all over and her bangs looked as though they weren't even cut. She spent at least half an hour in front of the mirror trying frantically to get her hair back to something that resembled her normal style. Also, was there color? Because you can't even tell. I realize I'm speaking as a son, but this is NOT a $100 haircut. This won't do, and you should be ashamed for letting a breast cancer survivor be this disappointed and then have the audacity to say she left happy when another friend of hers called to express their disdain. My mother is a very loving and understanding person, but this is simply inexcusable, and unless this is remedied, you will likely never receive her business again.

If I could give this business more than a five star I would. I have been coming here for a while and they have yet to disappoint. The staff is super friendly and the owners are very professional with excellent customer service!! I will continue to get my hair done here!!

Wasted over $100 on invisible highlights and an awful haircut that looks NOTHING like the picture I gave the stylist. SO disappointing as I'd saved up for a new do. Sorry, but cannot honestly recommend this salon.

We have been going to Thomas for a few years now. Would not go to anyone else. He is the BEST!! I really like how he talks to and shows my teenage daughter how to style her hair. Thank you Thomas. You rock!!!
