I had a wonderful experience at The Thompson Spa yesterday! I got a Deep Tissue massage from Cheryl & was extremely impressed. The massage was the perfect blend of strength and expertise. It was obvious Cheryl knew what she was doing & I feel great now. I don't think I could ever get a massage from anyone else! I also got a pedicure from Cynthia and experienced great service there as well! The pedi came out great, and Cynthia was very conscious of keeping everything clean, which is the most important part of a pedi in my opinion. The polish looks great and I loved the time spent chatting with Cynthia.

Yesterday I was treated to a 9a facial for my birthday. We arrived at 8:50a to find the doors locked, which makes sense since they do not “open” until 9a. To fill the time, we went to Little Daisy for croissants. We then went back to the spa at 9:02a, checked in, got changed, and we were in the sitting area by 9:10a waiting to be called back for our services. As soon as I was walked back, I was told by the technician my facial was going to be “rushed” because I was late to my appointment. I tried to explain we were here early but the doors were locked. She said she had an appointment right after mine and that she would try to perform all parts of the oxygen facial but that it would just be shorter than my treatment time. This was the first time I had been out of the house since giving birth and I really just wanted to be relaxed, so I didn’t protest any further. After my facial finished, I reconvened with my two other guests who both received massages. One was booked for an aroma massage and one for a deep tissue massage. Come to find out their services were inadvertently swapped. As soon as they were brought back for their respective massage, their massage was verbally confirmed at which point the technician was made aware that their two services had been inadvertently swapped. My guests were told they would not be given the service they booked and paid for and that this is the massage they would be receiving. The cold plunge, hot spa, sauna, infrared sauna and steam room were all great amenities and the front desk staff were polite. At this price point, I would have expected higher quality hospitality service from the technicians and more solution oriented responses. Because of the experience we received from the technicians, I would not recommend the Spa at the Thompson for a relaxing, luxurious spa day.

I came to this Thompson spa location expecting a nice experience while booking for a hot tub massage. While inside everything was going fine until I had to switch the therapist on the first time. The hot tub wasn't so hot at all. Our therapist was void of having a warm and inviting demeanor, even when she spoke to us. Once I walked around to the hot tub area to pay the service given by our therapist did not improve! While giving me a salt bath to me I noticed one of them(the floors) were stained. I politely notified about our therapist the stained floors her response was “Well did you ask for me to clean it?” This in my opinion was a very unprofessional response. Seeing that I did ask to clean the floors. I feel this experience would have been different if our therapist may have presented better customer service because this is quite honestly the least pleasant experience I’ve ever received. Also to note I myself am a worker in this spa and the customer connection was a zero. Also I am aware of how a therapist should interact with customers in drive or in store. When letting our therapist know of my partner numbers that interaction was also displeasing. As a therapist myself and seeing the service our therapist provided it makes me upset seeing that I may not be the only customer our therapist may be interacting this way with. Hopefully his customer service improves soon.

There are some good spas in Dallas. But this one ranks as my top as in number 1. They have everything you could want in this offering. Amazing facials, masseuses, relaxation areas. The hot tub whirl pool deck and cold plunge area are serene. The facilities are exceptional and also include dry sauna and infrared sauna. Out of this word experience. And you can access the work out facilities which are great for a hire resort spa.

It was okay, but I won’t be back. I feel like directions could be given for first time customers. Also, my therapist had like some rough hands. Thought she had a ring on for a minute but it was just her hands.

Went for a Mother’s Day treat. Wow! It was great! Cheryl was awesome and so nice! My mom and sisters try to do this every year and we have gone to a couple different places! I’m sure this place will be a repeat

I recently had the pleasure of getting my feet done by Cynthia, and I can't say enough good things about the experience! Her expertise really shined through – she clearly has a lot of knowledge about nail care, and she was able to answer all my questions with confidence. She isn't just skilled, she's also incredibly personable. She made the whole experience feel relaxing and enjoyable. We chatted throughout the appointment, and it felt like I was catching up with an old friend. And let's not forget the massage! Cynthia's hand and arm massage technique is seriously amazing. My feet felt so relaxed and pampered afterwards. Overall, my experience with Cynthia was top-notch! If you're looking for a talented and friendly nail tech who will give you a first-rate manicure or pedicure, I highly recommend booking an appointment with her! I will never go anywhere else! The facility is so clean AND you get access to all their amenities including infrared sauna and hot/cold plunges!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The service I had was excellent. I had the organic brightening facial and my skin looks fantastic. I was not impressed with the facilities. The spa deck was closed so we didn’t have access to hot or cold plunge pools or sauna. The locker area was so cramped we were struggling to get any space with the other party there. There’s no relaxation area, they have a waiting area that’s not comfortable. For the price I expected much more from the amenities and service prior to and after the treatment. This felt like cosmetic upkeep not a relaxing, indulgent experience as I’d hoped.

As a resident of the building, the spa is a great resource and the sports massage is great for training/recovery coupled with IR dry sauna and hot/cold plunge pools.

This was a wonderful Spa experience. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the amenities. Locker room in comparison to the Joule is left lacking. Smaller with shorter lockers. Infrared sauna and eucalyptus rooms are located in the locker rooms and are smaller. I did like the cold plunge pool and the hot tub. Being outside is okay but could use better scenery than sky scrapers and apartments. Therapist was great! In my opinion The Joulr has an edge.

Had a lovely spa day with a friend, and we enjoyed a couple of glasses of champs in the hot tub. Unfortunately, unlike my friend I didn’t get to shower for 6 hours after I left the Thompson spa hot tub. I then broke out with a rash all over my arms, chest, and legs. All other parts of my day were normal for me in terms of food and activity, and this rash had never happened before at either the Ritz or Joule spas when not immediately showering post-hot tub, for instance. Although this isn’t a scientific analysis, I have to suspect it was caused by the chemicals or bacteria in the Thompson hot tub, and I just won’t be back because it isn’t worth the risk. Disappointed, but service was otherwise good.

I am VERY upset. I specifically picked prenatal massage at Thompson because my friend had received multiple prenatal massages from Geanina and spoke very highly of her. When I booked I requested Geanina and she was my original therapist when I got the email confirmation. When I arrived to the spa and filled out paper work it stated Geanina was my therapist but when I was greeted by my therapist I had Mindy. I was NEVER informed of the change and Mindy was very kind however my massage was not what I expected. When checked out I asked the receptionist why the change was made and her response was “oh she wasn’t available” , why was I never informed. Why was I given to someone who isn’t a specialist in prenatal. I should have booked with Joule like I always do but wanted to give Thompson a chance because my friend spoke so highly of Geanina. Not impressed and will sharing my input with family and friends.

I received a hot stone massage with Ami and it was fantastic. She leveraged the time in the appointment very well and was attentive to all my needs. All the staff are welcoming and add value to the Spa experience. Looking forward to rebooking.

Loved everything about our spa day; clean, very nice space, relaxing, valet parking (validated). Minus one star for how pushy the massage therapists were, repeatedly trying to get us to purchase add ons. Also the hot tub wasn't working but they brought us over to the main pool's hot tub which we really appreciated.

OMG. Best massage ever! My husband and I got the Thompson signature couples massage. It started with a dry brush exfoliation which was a little weird but my skin feels great. Then a 100 minute massage with facial and scalp massage. The spa is beautiful with a cold and hot plunge pool, infrared sauna, and steam room! This place is very expensive and gratuity was already included -$174-but I felt it was worth it!

The experience was great. I enjoyed the rooftop hot tub with a view and the masseuses did a good job. It was 595$ for a couples package which included a couples massage and pedicure. It was pricey but it's right in downtown so it's expected. The reason for my 3-star review is because they added a 145$ gratuity charge to the bill, before tax, with no warning whatsoever. That's about 25%. I didn't see that coming and it just seems kind of scummy especially as it's already quite expensive. The cost should cover the service it paid for... this is not a restaurant and we did not have a 6+ person party....

The location, service, and staff were great. One thing I’m disappointed about is that I paid $600 (including the added gratuity) for a couples package, and went with the 60 min massage, which turned out to be only 40 mins. I just feel as though if you pay that amount of money, you should get what you pay for.

Would not recommend the manicure/ pedicure services. They stated that the dazzle dry nails are “gel alternative” and last the same amount of time as regular gel polish would, but I got my nails done on Friday and by Sunday they were already coming off. There are no other forms of polish in the services and a very limited amount of colors. They also do not provide any types of designs. Very overpriced and not worth it for the type of service you receive. The massages were excellent though!

Expensive but nice. My massage could've been longer. $185 for 50 mins seems pretty high especially because it felt great.
