Great and convenient location. Cleanliness and staff is very friendly and accommodating. I specifically love Richa. She's friendly, attentive, professional, and meticulous for great eyebrow shape. Glad I found her and this location. Highly Recommend making an appointment with her.

I’ve been going to threads for a few months and the customer service is impeccable. Booking an appointment is easy and you have the option in choosing your waxer. Richa is professional, kind, knowledgeable and leaves no hair behind which is my favorite part of being serviced by her! She’s literally the best and the only reason why I return every month ! Thanks Richa 😁 !

BEST place in NYC for all your threading and waxing needs! I’m from California and experienced my fair share of threading salons but this one is by far the best. The studio is large and clean and the ladies who work there are the sweetest. They have a reservation system online but you can walk in as well!

This place is GEM, I've been going to this place for more than 6 months now. Always clean, smells nice, prices are very good and service is 10/10. Richa is the best, she is incredibly nice and shapes my eyebrows beautifully with a lot of detail, she always makes sure I love them and takes care of a skin when I go for a full face. She definitely knows what she doing, if you have thick brows and you're scared nobody will do them right, SHE is the ONE. I will always come back here.

I've never left a bad review for any business because I want everyone to succeed; if I'm not satisfied, that's usually okay. But I'm so furious about my threading session—it's 2 AM and I can't sleep because I'm so angry. I went in just to clean up my eyebrows, no shaping or any other services; we would have had to discuss that beforehand. I barely have any eyebrows, and I've been working so hard on growing them with Latisse, which is very expensive, and other products, combined with eyebrow lamination, which is also costly, to achieve a fuller look. However, the stylist decided to trim my eyebrows that I had spent months and significant money growing to their full length. She removed all the bottom hair and trimmed them down to 1mm. I'm just crying over how severely bad service can affect you. I'm just so upset.

Here's another endorsement for Thread. When I moved here from the UWS, I was worried that I wouldn't find someone to do my brows like I was accustomed to. A colleague recommended this salon, and she hit it on the mark. This is a clean, well-lit space. The eyebrow stylists (what would you even call them?) actually do a consultation before they do your brows. Mine noticed one side was thinner than the other, so we're working on that :) They also have add-on services like a temple massage, which I am getting next time.

I went to this place for the second time. My first time I was handled with an older esthetician and was really happy with my eye brow result. But the second time my experience was not really pleasant to say the least with the amount of money I’ve paid for the service. I did not have an appointment and did a walk in on a Friday evening, wait time was around 5 mins. When it was my turn, the same older esthetician was going to do my eyebrows but another customer out of nowhere snatched her from doing my eyebrows. Then they passed me on to this younger lady. At first it was nice but then she became very rude and impatient. Doing the job abruptly. I felt uncomfortable, as I bear with it. The service it self was very quick. Maybe because she did not care at all to do it properly. Hence now my eyebrows is ugly and uneven in both side. Very unsatisfied considering the price I paid for. But a lesson learned to never go back here again. <edited review since the owner responded> First of all I got the right place it is your establishment and not others. If you can’t admit fault of your staff ; but instead trying to convince and deflect fact. Maybe you need retraining of proper customer service clearly it is non existent.

If I could give no stars, I would. I've been a dedicated patron at this salon. A few weeks ago, Sadia Brangan, the “manager/owner” completely humiliated and disrespected me during a heated argument initiated by her. This distressing encounter occurred when I simply communicated about my appointment and why it didn't reflect the services I requested online. I said, I probably made a mistake but I still need the services. She asked me to wait. While patiently waiting, Sadia approached me, cautioning about how I spoke . I was shocked by her disrespectful and bizarre demeanor. The situation escalated into a distressing argument, and her unprofessional conduct left me embarrassed and in tears. Despite being a paying customer with a three-year history devoid of issues, Sadia's inappropriate response was shocking. Such a bizarre experience. Regrettably, this experience has led me to the decision of never returning to the salon. It's disheartening to be treated this way after years of being a loyal and trouble-free customer. Do not go there. Sadia said she was the owner. I feel bad for her staff, who hugged me and comforted me, they apologized for Sadia's treatment. As an owner, manager you should have some dignity and care for your paying customers. I'm of South Asian descent, I wondered if she thought because of that fact, she can talk down to me. Not sure why I was treated so badly. I didn’t use foul language, I simply made an appointment and sat quietly and patiently waited for my scheduled services. I have no respect for her or her response to my review . The most humiliating experience I ever-experienced and gaslighting me for my behavior, that is why I’m even writing this review. You should not be a business owner if you treat anyone like this. Everyone deserves to be respected.

I always love coming to this place. The value is great for the work they do. You don’t have to guide them at all they always know what they’re doing and my eyebrows always look fab when I leave. Also very fast, since they know what they’re doing and are great at maneuvering the thread !

I asked for a brow wax and she completely waxed off one of my entire eyebrows because she was too busy talking to customers coming in and asking for walk ins. I asked for her to just wax my arch underneath and she took scissors and completely cut my eyebrow down to nothing before I realized what she was doing. My two brows don’t even look the same, one is normal and how I asked and one is paper thin. It looks ridiculous and like a pencil drawn eyebrow if I even try to put a little product to make it look fuller. I have been here before and had good experiences but I will never come back. I’ve been crying all day about how horrific it looks. EDIT: I’ve completely broken out everywhere she touched me with the wax. I’ve been getting eyebrow waxes my entire life and never have had this happen to me. Dirty and old wax used.

I first discovered Thread when I was attending college in the city.... and I have been coming back ever since, even though I don't even live in the city. My eyebrows NEVER look better than when I come to Thread and nothing I get done at home compares. You're in, you're out, and everything is done so precisely. I have been OBSESSED. Thank you Thread Team for always getting it right!

I’m not a review writer, but today was my first visit here. I got a brow thread and lip wax. my brows came out good but the woman burned my lip, and didn’t tell me what she was putting on my skin immediately after, which contributed to irritating my skin further and unfortunately i’m dealing with very raw and welted skin rn. Maybe this place just wasn’t for me, but I will be getting a refund and won’t be going back there. Update: As a customer, i would’ve respected and appreciated the woman that completed my service, and the person responding to my review, taken accountability instead, but unfortunately this is not the case. The response to my review says everything. I am sure I simply just wasn’t meant to be a loyal customer to this business and I can accept that. But I hope anyone reading this can avoid a similar experience to mine.

Been going here regularly for the past few months to get my eyebrows tinted and threaded, usually with Panna. She does a fantastic job every time. I have red hair and very fair eyebrows and the medium brown tint complements my hair color well and looks very natural. She does just enough clean up to leave my brows nicely shaped and natural looking. It’s SO comforting to have such a consistently excellent experience every time. I also got my lashes tinted here once and was very pleased with the experience and results. Recommend bringing cash for tips.

Hands down the best place I’ve ever gone to get my eyebrows threaded. They know exactly what to do to make my eyebrows look thick, clean and symmetrical. And they’re very gentle and kind. Never letting anyone else touch my eyebrows again
