Natalie was so sweet and patient! I went to this salon for the first time for a haircut and was a bit nervous because I have long thick hair that can be hard to cut. Natalie took her time to learn what I wanted and literally PERFECTED every single detail. I left incredibly happy and definitely recommend!

I’ve been seeing Megan and Natalie for over a decade. They are both expert perfectionists in their field. I no longer live in Chicago but I fly internationally to get my hair done several times a year. THEY ARE THAT GOOD!

Megan is truly one of a kind! I’ve been going to her for 2 years and recently wanted to do highlights and get the Amal Clooney look, she was so patient during the process and was a true artist. She also really cared about the quality of my hair and making sure we don’t damage it too much during the process of going lighter. Her work is incredible, I have gotten so many compliments after day 1! I can’t say enough great things about her.

Megan is an artist when she colors hair. I left with color that looks fabulous. She planned it so that I only need touch ups for the next 6 months to cover the gray. No highlighting lines or streaks! Simply amazing.

I started going to Taylor nearly nine years ago before he and his friends started Thrive as their own business. Even though I moved to the suburbs a couple of years ago while still working downtown, I make sure to schedule accordingly to make sure I keep Taylor as my stylist. I can't say enough positive things about him and the larger team, especially since my wife has started going to the larger crew for cuts, keratin treatments and coloring. Accommodating, friendly and just overall good people who listen to your needs and provide great service. Would highly recommend to anyone. Keep up the great work!

Taylor is a true expert when it comes to knowing hair! He's not afraid to politely weigh in if he knows a particular cut or style might not work with your hair texture, which I appreciate. His cuts grow out well, and my hair looks just as good several weeks after. Worth every cent!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Taylor and color by Megan for years. These guys are extremely talented and knowledgeable and will tell you exactly what will work and what will not for your hair texture and style. So happy they opened their own salon and I will continue to come here as long as I’m in Chicago.

These stylists are highly trained professionals that are among the best and most current in their field, all without snobbery. I’ve gone a dozen places in Chicago, and Taylor can’t be beat. He gives great attention to detail, your own hair texture and personal styling. I feel more confident as a result and can’t do without!
