In mid 2023 I started experiencing patches of hair loss at 45 years old. I anonymously asked for a referral in a women’s networking group on Facebook and was referred to Rachel. Thank god I was. Not only do you feel amazing just walking in to Throne but Rachel made me feel comfortable and hopeful. She was extremely thorough and without giving me false expectations she set clear expectations and plan. I never felt pressured to purchase any products, but of course I did and by my next appointment 8 weeks later I had new hair growth. Now six months later I have no more patches and new hair growth a few inches long. Rachel has never recommended for me to continue to use the products or buy more - which I have not because they worked so well. Now I only have to see her to have my highlights and cuts - which she is also amazing at. I cannot thank Rachel enough for always making sure I was comfortable and never making me feel that I was alone in this journey. Many women experience hair loss for various reasons and it was comforting working with an experienced, highly qualified professions. Highly recommended!

My experience at Throne Hair Salon was nothing short of amazing! Mel made me feel so welcome from our first interaction and she truly took the time to listen to what my hair goals were and helped me create a plan to achieve the look I wanted. I wanted to go from Blonde to Darkest Brown so I was a bit nervous, but the initial consultation was so thorough and the booking process was professional start to finish. Mel made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way and went above and beyond to ensure my clip in extensions matched my new hair color and blended seamlessly. I am in LOVE with the way my hair turned out and even more in love with the experience, I will 100% be back!

Contacted them and no response in regards to a consultation visit. Text only business per website but they do not respond. No easy way to make appointments. It makes it seems like even when you start going there, it will be hard to make follow up visits. Who wants to go through this trouble?

I wanted to give a shoutout to Mel from Throne Hair Salon for my new hair!! She spent a good couple of hours fixing a balayage I got in august which was uneven and ended up turning orange. 🙈 She was so nice and listened to what I wanted! she does all kinds of color and also provides hair treatments! The studio is so beautiful too! Loved supporting this woman owned business.

I’d spent the better part of the year pregnant with twins and unable to keep up with my hair. My visit to Throne Hair Salon was one of my first outings after the babies were born. The moment I walked into the salon, I felt like a queen. Kathryn made me feel well cared for after a very long year. She was kind, compassionate, and detail oriented. My hair had natural coloring with some grey as well as some old colored hair and many split ends. Kathryn was able to handle my color mess easily and gave me exactly the color I wanted! She also talked me through a new cut to freshin’ up my look. I LOVE my new hair! It’s soft, vibrant, and shiny! Throughout my time at the salon, Kathryn also made sure I was comfortable, hydrated, and she offered snacks to tie me over until she was finished. All-in-all it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend Kathryn to anyone looking!

I am posting this to help people make an informed decision. I went to Throne and got all over highlights and my ends trimmed. The final result was supposed to be ash blonde with all over cool highlights - no red or yellow tones. I have baby fine hair so I wasn’t expecting to look like Farrah Fawsett. I’m posting pictures of the end result. It cost almost $500.00 and the owner does expect a tip.

I had such a wonderful experience at Throne! I’m really wary of letting just anyone do my hair as I have very curly hair that is easy to damage. I’ve taken several years nursing my hair back to health and now I’m very careful with it. I was in dire need of something new; my hair was brassy, the ends were in need of a trim, and I was ready for something fresh and fun! I saw an old friend (with a similar hair texture to mine) highlight Mel on social media and thought I’d give it a try! I was a little nervous when I arrived but all of that went out the window during the consultation; Mel was so knowledgeable and ready for the appointment that I had no reason to worry after talking! Mel not only gave me amazing color but she cared about the integrity of my hair which was all I could really ask for at the end of the day. She took the time to educate me on healthy hair habits and explained every step of the process. Aside from her professionalism, I had a wonderful time talking with her. I’ll go back to Mel EVERY SINGLE TIME and I will recommend Mel EVERY SINGLE TIME. She’s beyond skilled!

It speaks to how talented Mel is that she is the best hair stylist I have ever had AND she gives my husband the best hair cuts he’s ever had. I joke with her that she’s our family stylist, but it’s true, and we’re never going to go to anyone else for our hair if we can help it. I feel so grateful we met her when we were in a pinch to get haircuts nearby before leaving town one weekend. After years of getting our hair done in major cities in the US and in Europe, Mel’s work eclipses all of those experiences and I can confidently say you will be extremely satisfied by the way you look and feel after booking an appointment. And on top of everything, Mel is so lovely to spend time with and the setting at Throne is just the calming and happy environment you want when you’re taking a break for self-care. I can’t gush about Mel or Throne enough !

The skills, kindness, knowledge and education beyond just hair color and cuts at this salon is unmatched. Rachel goes above and beyond not just on making your hair goals come true but also educating you on a healthy scalp. This is how a salon should be ran, getting to the literal roots of your hair. All these girls are so kind, down to earth, professional yet it’s like seeing old friends every time you come in. They listen to your wants and needs, never judge and are passionate about what they do and their clients. If you’re unsure about any part of the process Rachel stops and always extends her kindness and time to answer any questions you may have and doesn’t make you feel judged. I personally have scalp psoriasis and this is the first salon I wasn’t t looked at or made to feel as if “something was wrong with me” over it. She takes extra time and care to help me keep my scalp psoriasis at bay, not counting her extensive education and certifications she has on all types of scalp conditions, hair care and training. I’m proud to say I go here and tell everyone I can. You pay not only for fantastic stylist but all of her efforts to take her hair expertise to the next level. Although Rachel is the main stylist that has been doing my hair, scarlet has also taken part of my hair process and she is so sweet and easy to talk to! Katherine is also so easy to talk to and every employee is very personable and fantastic at what they do. I would feel completely comfortable seeing each gal here. I’ve never felt more beautiful thanks to throne hair salon. Go ahead and book your appt! You won’t regret it!!

Throne Hair Salon...AMAZING! Rachel is above and beyond as a stylist. I have been seeing her for over 2 years now and every time I leave her, my hair and my spirit in general feels lighter! She has a gift for extensions, hair and product knowledge and is just overall fabulous. Not to mention, she listens to your concerns, gives you her honest opinion and puts her heart and soul into making her clients happy. I’m thankful to be one of her clients and she truly gets that a woman’s hair is her crown!

so great. i have naturally curly hair, and a lot of salons i have gone to for a blowout doesn’t give quality results — my hair after i wash it tends to loose the curl pattern i have and/or the blowout doesn’t hold well ; at Throne, none of that was experienced. i got my hair done on a friday night , and it lasted me all the way until the following friday — it could of lasted longer, but i don’t like going too many days without washing my hair. my roots stayed straight the entire time and even made it through 3 power flow yoga classes, so even through sweat. Mel did my hair, and not only was she extremely pleasant and made the interaction very comfortable and welcoming, but she was also dedicated to protecting my curls while giving me a quality service. Mel has done my hair in the past, cutting bangs into my hair, and she always ensures i am nothing less than pleased leaving the chair. i’m going back next week for a color service with Mel, and i am so looking forward to it. (1st pic with white sweater was taken immediately after she finished, the other mirror pic with the blue jacket was the next day without refreshing the curls, and the last pic was almost a week later)

As someone with acute Alopecia, I’m so glad I found this place! Rachel, the owner understands the delicate nature of the situation and treats her customers with the required sensitivity. She will make suggestions but is never pushy. I would recommend Throne Hair Salon to anyone with a hair problem

Beautiful and amazingly talented stylist. I love going to Rachel, I always leave feeling like a hair model. You can tell she loves what she does! She is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond to questions. I ONLY trust her with all my hair needs from touch ups, extensions and color to recommendations on my hair products. Anyone with extensions knows the time, effort and investment put into them. You need someone you can trust!! Nobody likes sitting in a salon with that cape on looking a hot mess, right? Her salon is private and adorable! Nobody sees you till the magic has been done! Give her a shot, go one time and I promise you, you’ll not only leave loving your new look but you’ll have felt like you were just hanging out with a friend all day rather than sitting in a busy salon.
